The games are not loaded via internet everytime you open the app, they are downloaded once the app is updated with new games and they simply stay there. You just need to connect to the internet like once a week so they can check if you have a valid subscription to access the app. So the "issue" with GC NSO is just that it would require a much larger size for the app

If Nintendo released GameCube on Switch online, and if Wind Waker and Twilight Princess was included on it, I might play them, would (honestly) still hope that the remastered versions would be released since the HD versions gave us the fast sail and made the Triforce quest more enjoyable. I think they SHOULD bring it to NSO, though I question the timing of this decision if that is the case. Too close behind a lot of significant remasters. Maybe they wanted to give us the most "essential" remasters first before cannibalizing profits when the OG versions. Then again they could always hold those same titles back from the NSO lineup for a while, instead prioritizing the games that aren't available on Switch at all. Also, WTH is my Wind Waker HD port?!

There’s a GameCube connector that can be used on the switch dock. It takes up two USB to use, but you can connector 4 GameCube controllers to it.
