thank you i managed to run it. But i have run the computer with system recovery via "recovery boot" button and system recovery. But all i get is lenovo screen with logo and spinning ring. It never gets to that fulfilling bar that will get you to repair screen. Really do not know what to do.

2. Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Liquid spill, overheating, Windows update, etc?
@@PC_Monkey i ve managed to run the diagnostics and reinstalled windows, but after reinstall Windows will not let me pass logging into account and blue screen of death appears. Looks like ssd is damaged.

2. Yes, if the install didnt work, most of the time, that would mean a bad drive :(
It asked for a password when I clicked on f2 and I don't remember any password cause I've had this issue like 1 year now and forgot about it, now I just decided to try and fix it and here I am

2. If changing BIOS settings didnt work, or you cannot change those settings, then move on and try to install Windows as seen here; th-cam.com/video/l3AVGlVWUsI/w-d-xo.html. You can create your own install media for free as seen here; th-cam.com/video/g_UhiHScaSI/w-d-xo.html. If you dont have another computer to use for creating the Install Media, you may have to purchase it. If so, make sure you get INSTALL Media and not Recovery Media. My Lenova ideapad 310 was stuck on the lenovo restarting page and nothing i did would allow me to get into BIOS mode. I kept trying and trying and then F2 finally worked. Thank you very much for this video. It fixed my issue in Lenovo laptop Z580. I was struggling to start my laptop as it was starting and the Boot Menu was coming all the time. Never was getting loaded the windows operating system. As you mentioned I have changed to Legacy and it worked fine.

Even though I haven't got to the core of my issue yet, I still admire youre explaining of why you do something that way.
I have tried to reset windows 10, because I couldn't get rid of a chromium browser. I tried and tried, but couldn't, so opted for a reset.
Then a month later, I caught the chromium again, so I reset again. But this time, the background looked a slight different colour, the icons were slightly different, all of it was, to a degree.
So I reset a third time, and I got stuck in this "boot-loop" - with the "NTFS FILE SYSTEM" Message, to give to a support technician...
I don't know if youre able to figure it out, or wether I will be able to, with assists from your knowledgeable fans, remains to be seen.

I received a new laptop today and it gave the message that my pc restarted and it might need an update but once u hit next and Cortana comes up, it would not go past that and it kept looping and repeating the message. It started working after I changed the Boot Mode. Now we are up and running!

Oh my goodness I wish I checked this video 6 months ago when this exact thing happened because of an error whilst updating. It happened to my computer again and the switchinf to legacy mode worked!

@@PC_Monkey hi i factory resetted mine and chose the option to reinstall windows from my device before i started. Now it wont boot up after reset completed. Whats the fix? Install windows from a usb or disc?

Yes, there is a difference. However, if switching them helped your computer work, then you want to stay on that one. Most likely what happened is that your BIOS suffered a sudden power loss or some other error that caused the settings to reset. You most likely just changed it back to what it has been all along :)
This solved my issue immediately.. just needed to unplug my mouse/keyboard USB! My work IT department had no clue! Thank you so much!

Pc Monkey please help me. Last time my lenovo thinkpad yoga 12 was shutting down and I close it be for its completely shut down. After that it thinkpad light blinks for 3 seconds and straight turn off. Nothing on the display.

Dude, thank you! Personally, it hasnt solved my issue, its still bringing me back to that screen, but I feel like I understand the issue a bit better, which is making me panic a lot less. @@PC_Monkey I do have a Lenovo. I just watched the video! I did try those steps. I'm assuming it's not a hardware issue. It happened actually because my computer auto-opened an iso for a Linux OS which I was downloading to put into a USB so I could transfer it to my new SSD, I was gonna make the switch. But since it ended up just playing the ISO, I got a blue screen and then a recovery screen. The recovery screen did not work and then I got the booting menu, showing me the HDD, the SSD and the options for me to access those BIOS options. I noticed some make me able to access the HDD sometimes.
Though, I haven't had much luck accessing the HDD anymore for some hours, I do get recovery options when I can access it.
I'm just trying to recover the windows OS so I can finish backing up my files and get another operating system on my SSD.

@@PC_Monkey I have a Lenovo t540 gaming desktop and it’s newly bought but it has this problem occurring all the time now for some reason. I didn’t install anything suspicious on it and I brought it to the service Center to get it fixed but it is still occurring. If you know how to fix the boot loop issue without factory resetting it that would be great! Thank you :)

I replaced the fan and keep getting the “diagnosing” screen upon switching the thing on. Hopefully this will give me some ideas

U can change it in the bios, put the setting to not show that screen.

Thank you so much!!! This helped me, my Lenovo idea pad 3 was stuck on the Lenovo logo. With the help of this video, I changed the boot mode from uefi (ueif) to legacy and it helped.
Now I need help because when the laptop loads, it loads slowly.

If not, move on and try a new install as seen in the last half of the video. You can create your own Install Media for free as seen here; th-cam.com/video/g_UhiHScaSI/w-d-xo.html. So mine boots up shows logo then goes to a dim black screen, it doesnt let me select the f1 bios option or the recover pc option, but it lets my run diagnostics test, also this happened after my sister tried updating the computer. What problem do i have?

You can create your own install media for free as seen here; th-cam.com/video/g_UhiHScaSI/w-d-xo.html. If that does not work, then your hard drive is most likely bad.
