Printing With Abrasive Filaments on the Flashforge Adventurer 5M 3D Printer

Abrasive filaments can give your 3D prints a whole new look and feel. I've tried a few different types of abrasive 3D printing filaments in the Flashforge Adventurer 5M including marble, glow in the dark and matte to see how good the results can be with little to no tweaking.

Your content is fantastic .. I don't know how you don't have more subs. Putting the extruder head back together now after taking it apart to get to the innards of the gearbox. I pushed the retraction settings too far yesterday (trying to fix a silk PLA issue, when the mistake probably lay in not using the 0.6 nozzle) and got bits of plastic onto one of the gears, which gave it erratic feed. A fairly straightforward machine to work on if you take notes and pictures. Thanks again for the feedback that helped me buy one of these :)

Hey. I print a lot of abrasive filaments on my k1 and sovol printers. I kind of understand why flashforge did that but it is still a shame. Most of the abrasive stuff like glass filled, CF filled or even wood do not do so well with a 0.4mm hardened nozzle. I still use my 0.4mm by metal nozzles for those filaments it will sometimes clog. And if you look on most manufacturers web page they say a 0.6mm nozzle I needed. Now glow in the dark has no issues with 0.4mm so it is a shame they didn't include 0.4mm nozzles. I am printing some CF PA and CF PLA right now with 0.4mm nozzle. And for me no issues but some printers really struggle sometimes. I assume it has to do with filament path and extruder. Jeremy dude HELP! I cant get my 5M to bind to my Maker app. I tried opening the app and then switching to my camera and scanning the box on the 5m and all it does is bring up my phones note pad. my Maker app says "no devices". Better yet can you do a how to video on using the new Makker app and monitoring your prints? maybe showing the Orca-Flash slicer as well? This would be SUPER helpful. a lot of us are having issues

Hello good sir, I know this has nothing to do with this video but is there anyway you could do another hueforge video slowing down the part where you insert the layers and what not into orcaslicer. I can get the pic I want in hueforge with the the pauses I need but Im a bit confused on the parts where you transfer all that to orcaslier. This would be a huge help. thanks
