Hahaha…she’s never seen WOF! I wish there was a way for her to audition….the bad thing is, she may see her reflection in the numbers and FREEZE looking at herself 😂
Tried many pizzas in the Philippines & none have ranked above a 4 or maybe a 5 out of 10. We are coming to Dumaguete last week of February so I will give it a try. Nice house but to pricey, would never drop that much coin here where you may never get it back. Just my opinion...
You’re right with the pizza, but when you get one that’s CLOSE to a US pie…it got a little higher than normal. I would say this 🤔in the Philippines this is great…but in the US, I would not eat there a 2nd time…but then again, they would have access to better ingredients
There’s Shakeys and Pizza Hut. If I go to Philippines, it would be for the best lechon, siopao, batchoy, mang inasal, sizzling sisig, etc. Pizza would be the least I would crave for.
This guy is obviously in a way a better financial situation than I am. I have lived in Thailand for about 30 years. I cannot own property here other than a condo. I do have a 60 square meter condo that is very nice and comfortable. It is worth maybe 55,000 US dollars today. I do live out in the boonies upcountry in my wife's two bedroom house but still have the condo in my name. We talked about building a new house and estimates for a 3 bedroom, two bathroom house were around 80,000 US dollars. That house would be at least the same size and quality as this house in the Philippines. A house costing 180,000 US dollars is way too expensive for what you get. Added; My wife decided that she would rather have a huge living room than a new house and that's what we did. We added on to her house.
Love that house! Note: That house has a big plastic water tank, but it also has a pressure tank like used in the USA when you have well water. You can adjust the pressure, but don't go crazy Pinoy Plumbing pipes. Pizza looked good too!
First comment :) This house is amazing. Looks completely new. Plus all the stuff inside the house stays, so that is a definite plus! Now for a question: Can a foreigner buy this? I thought in PH you cannot buy the land? So how would this work?
A foreigner cannot own land. If you are single, then you would need a Filipino partner for the land, but you own all improvements…just like a condo here. First you go to a lawyer and get powers of attorney, so nothing can be done(sell, build another house) without your consent. Then you get a 25 year lease, with YOUR option for another 25…that’s 50 years, which is longer than most expats that are coming here will probably be around. After that…you will probably be dead, and the property goes to the Filipino…that’s the cookie cutter version. YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY SIT DOWN WITH AN ATTORNEY FIRST!😉
Would definitely have to concrete the driveway.. would install a back door with a covered walkway to the dirty kitchen and washing area. Plenty of room for my hot tub in the front or the rear. Room for a small garden and herbal garden.. make a turnaround for the car so I would not have to back out into the highway.. how cool do you think it gets during the night time? I think I would rather be further up in the mountains because I know it's definitely cool up there at night.. thanks to you and Jenna Lynn and Alma for showing a another great property👍👍😎🤗
My guess, at 4:30-5 AM it gets down to about 72-75 Fahrenheit at night This is closer to the Bacong-Valencia border which is well below the foot of the mountains
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 I plan on going up in the mountains where I will not need any AC at night.. I will have some solar panels with some good lithium batteries and starlink internet.. also have a good gasoline generator in case it's cloudy and I cannot get a charge from the Sun to my batteries.. see you all soon I hope
quality place inside and outside . Like MTV cribs , what's in the fridge? in the Bedroom is" where the magic happens." a Beagle dog very nice decorating. very organized people 🐓🐓 121lbs of pure fun in the sun , No Pool? room for a pool?
The restaurant deserves a special comment because my Filipino fiance / wife and myself will surely be eating there more than once.. I would actually love to try everything on the menu.. it would take me a few visits but I would surely keep coming back and bringing some home put in the refrigerator and freezer.hehe.. I am a good cook and I can cook all the great south Louisiana foods but I love eating other people's cooking especially when it is good.. see you all soon I hope and keep up the great videos👍👍🍺🍻😁😎🤗
In my humble opinion, the meatballs are the best thing that I had….but that’s me!! Richard, I might have to ask you to pick me up a few boxes of Tony Chachere’s jambalaya mix!!!!
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 I will pick them up and put them in my box of stuff that I'm bringing to the Philippines.. I'm definitely bringing some Tony's seasoning for sure and I will bring an extra one for you also.. I also have a 5 lb pack of Louisiana crab boil.. I wonder if I would be able to get those things from Amazon after I arrive? I plan on staying until I die..
Nice home but way too much for the Philippines in my opinion. When prices are the same as certain areas in the US then its way too high of a price for the Philippines. Yes i know home prices are $300,000 average or more in some areas but some areas you can still buy a nice home in the USA for $200g so that price in the Philippines is too high
@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 I've got a very good pension but have a hard time spending as much in the Philippines as I can purchasing a home here in the USA. Yes, I know California, New York and other areas are very expensive, but you can still buy a nice home in much of the USA for close to that price
Looks like 4-5 million too high. It’s too tiny lot, barely any parking, no swimming pool to be near 10 mil. Haven’t seen the surrounding streets though.
It’s actually 10 million, all of the neighbors are foreigners with nice houses. The only negative floor me were the roosters on the big property next door
Glad to see you lost the yellow flowered ball cap ha! But seriously, you bought Teva for an example, wouldn't it be wise to buy a different high dividend stock each year over those 7 years, for a more diversified (dividend producing) portfolio? heading into retirement, rather than $49k of just one co?
The “yellow flowered” hat you’re referring to is actually the scales of a Mahi Mahi fish(🐠 (dorado, dolphin) it is from the Guy Harvey line, and I have the matching shirt to go with it
Maybe $750-$800…but this is $Dumaguete$! The expat capital of the Philippines PER CAPITA!!! This would be cheaper ANYWHERE else including Manila or Cebu which have better infrastructure, restaurants, and shopping
Wow!! Really nice home.
It’s just right around the corner from you…so is the restaurant 😉
Beautiful home! "Jennalyn found a mirror" God bless her! Now that Vanna White is retiring there may be a job opening for her in the USA.
Hahaha…she’s never seen WOF! I wish there was a way for her to audition….the bad thing is, she may see her reflection in the numbers and FREEZE looking at herself 😂
lovely place
Thanks wave! We appreciate you watching!
I like how you do the showing of homes mixed with a restaurant review 😊
Thanks Marc! We are trying to showcase a restaurant close to the property if we can. This one was about 3 minutes from the house 😉
Very nice indeed pretty high for Phil’s $200k you can pay that in USA
$Dumaguete$ is getting more and more expensive each month because of all of the expats

Your right about the pizza !
Best pizzas are in manila

My favorite part of these videos is your commentary when she finds a mirror ;-)
😂, she wants to build a house of mirrors

@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 I think an option is to have an assigned attorney hold the deed( in title name) to the land/house.
It's a nice place...The price too is good IMO...I think this will move quickly...

Everything is really nice, the furniture too! The only thing that I didn’t like was the roosters

Questions on the house..
1. Foreign owner? and any idea why they are selling? Put a lot of work into it.
2. Interested in renting it?
Definitely a foreign owner. Not sure why they are moving or if it’s rentable. I’ll ask the realtor Monday…they are actually gone for the weekend

crazy number of roosters, otherwise a nice place
Yes, that’s the only negative to this place
I've gotten used to the roosters, but NOT the dogs.
