I am going to jump in here , nice lady like so many wonderful women there. I love my gal and miss her cant wait to get back , stuck here in the US , its terrible i want to go back. Lived there for 6 years now. used to live in a huge house in Scottsdale Arizona
I changed my Social security Mailing address to the Philippines and instead of getting my money the 3rd wednesday of the month I now get it on the 3rd day of every month. I am married to a filipina and I set her up a budget of 55,000 peso around 1200 dollars out of my 1600. That covers everything except Vacation travel. Love living in the Philippines. Been here almost 6 years. In that budget WE added 2000 peso a month to her Mom because her Dad is dead and her Mom has no income. One of my wifes sisters working abroad also gives 2000 pesos so Mom is able to eat and a little socializing with her friends. Stumbled across your video and enjoyed the 2 i have watched so far. Thanks. Note: we live in Lucena City Quezon.
Me to Sir I bought a Land in Lucena Talipan pagbilao I am 23 years I harited half a million $ My bujet is 2000$ hope we can meet my father left me 9 apartment in India that Brings 2000$ rent income I have my Gold that's for 10000$ so I keep in bank I get a loan every month so I dont have any Retirement.
Hi Paul, I never watched any TH-cam videos on life in Philippines or Thailand. But one of my friend got married to a Filipina and he referred me to find out about life in Philippines. I watched your videos and am very much impressed with your very natural, simple and real life videos. You provide excellent information in a no nonsense way. Thank you.
Paul you picked a really winner with Baby Mae. She is so sweet, great personality, laughs easily, humble, practical and helps you conserve your cash which is super important since your S.S. check and expenses are about the same. (I hope you have some extra income and/or savings...that tight margin between income and expenses would be stressful...at least for me) You've got it all figured out so my hat's off to you. Keep living the dream Paul.
She's simple and kind. Filipinos are family oriented. Even if we're already married, we still want to help our parents, brothers and sisters in need. Because most of our parents have no pension or retirement benefits. We want to give back in return for taking good care of us.
My wife and I went there last Jan and we love it so much. Even though the people are poor they are happy. We have poor here in Canada but they are very sad.
I don't know why some people don't like the live chats. It is a chance for everyone to have some input. There is a wealth of info from these collective minds....
Hello Paul and Mae. I have enjoyed both of your videos however you put them and hope your continued success! You guys are down to earth. hospitable, and are very good people!
Hi Paul, & Mae... thank you both for all the great info (and cutting to the chase!) As someone who is moving to your area as soon as C19 issues get better it is greatly appreciated...the lives are great btw... 😎#theBaldGorilla
Hey Paul, I definitely have a oh shit expense. But I can't wait to get back to the Philippines to marry my filpina fiancé. We plan on settling down in Laguna. Tell baby mae to keep making her awesome videos. You both rock my friend. Much love to you both. 😊 😊 😊 ❤️❤️❤️
Hello Darryl, I own a house in Laguna in a very nice subdivision; Laguna Bel Air III. I can share the address if you are interested in buying or renting
We've been in Sta Rosa Laguna for 5 years and am moving to dumaguete because of the pollution, crowding and the traffic. It has been bad being under quarantine here for the last 6 months and not being able to travel. If your wife has family in Laguna I understand your wanting to live there. But I suggest you travel before you buy
It is so fun seeing the two of you TALK about the budget. It is very colorful (in that it is a fun conversation) a little story here and there makes this the best budget video ever. Thanks for the fun, it really does brighten up my nights.
I love to watch this channel! Paul, you are so entertaining and Mae is a selfless and giving person, not to mention how sweet and cute she is. Not many ladies like that in any country. Mr Las Vegas, you hit the Jackpot with her. You keep putting out the videos and I’ll keep on watching. 😊
Hi all..I may not comment on all..but I respect your views and enjoy just learning all that I can from a first hander..if you will...I hope you both are healthy always and Blessed! Thanks for all that you both do..I hope that one day..I can meet a special girl like miss baby.take care and God bless 🙏♥️
So as I see it, if I can make it on 1600 a month living on the Jersey shore, I can live like a prince in the Philippines. :) Thank you Paul for these videos...helps us future expats make future decisions! BTW baby Mae is a nice addition to your videos. :) And as you describe Mae, she sounds exactly my fiancee, very conservative on the money. Never asks for any, no sending $$$ off to the family. She is a keeper!
Dumaguete is one of d best places to stay. Cost of living is cheap.A medium sized pizza is P200 and it doesn’t taste cheap (Costco style). Lots of seafood here. Almost everyone is fluent in English. Nature is raw and beautiful.
On the couch, with Mae next to you (and the chicken, of course) these are your best video productions, I think. Mae is a treasure in all ways! You should never let her go. Stay safe, you two.
wow Mae! galing! it's normal for people here to give money to their parents. even though I'm already married with 3 kids, I still give money to my dad.. you're lucky with Mae..i wish you constant happiness :)
Nice watching the honesty about budgets etc. Good luck to you guys, I’ve never been one for budgeting etc. Hope you have a great life in the Philippines.
That's a really good thing that you have a partner that's really helping you too save your money and spend your money wisely because I heard a lot of foreigners that come there and they spend so much money but you got a good one and that's good
Thanks Paul for the budget info. It really helps with planning. You have a keeper in Mae, I hope I can find one when I get there. Damn virus though! All in time. Thanks
Thanks Paul for sharing an informative vlog esp. that part about budgeting--detailed expense allocation--and specifically about your daily grind. You're very fortunate to have a partner like May, a sweet soul, who's very consencious. So take good care of her. Stay happy, healthy and God bless you both.
Always good for a laugh and entertaining Paul, but seriously, Mae is a great kid, she’s got your back . You did well there, and you have both gained a lot from your relationship. All power to you.
Good morning Paul & Mae! I absolutely agree with you when you said that you’re doing the live video just to connect with us- the audience. You’re on point. 👍👍👍👍🙏🙏
When we were there we stayed in Bayombong. We have lots of friends there even though we did not meet until last Jan. I now consider the Philippines home and I am in Canada working and saving money to go back this Jan all going well that is
Right on bro.Canuck, the smaller towns like Dum.are great, no need for Man.,just watch the Yank blogsites, they have a hard time, unlike the rest of the planet? in saying "Western" and their amounts or comparisons are generally in Murica oriented terms thou many of their following aren't,🥂🇨🇦
holy crap 1500 a month is less than what im paying for just mortgage. you are living the dream man! I can only dream one day my bills would be that low.
Hi Paul and Baby Mae! Thanks for the budget video. I found it to be informative as my wife and I are planning to retire in the Philippines in a few years. I enjoy your live streams and videos, no complaints here! Keep doing what you do because I enjoy your down to earth positive attitude!
Thanks Paul for sharing. It seems like you have a beautiful and budget minding lady. I hope that you are to give her a nice gift so she has a little nest egg so she can spend on her family, beautify products or luxury items if she wants.
Great vid once again Paul. Enjoyed you too love birds both chit chatting during the video. Looking forward to seeing Babe Mae’s coooking and adventures cake bake.
Hello Paul! Nice of you to enroll Mae to a health insurance. Way to go Mae, i like. being frugal too. "Money is not picked from the trees." Just my thoughts!
Paul it would be good if you could list expenses for us in the Description area. It would save your viewers time and we could read the description and watch your explanation as time allows. Thank you for your videos!
I can't wait to go to Phillipines for a holiday and see if I like it so I can think about moving there for a while and hopefully find and marry a Filipina beauty... cheers mate 👍🏾👍🏾 love the channel
"The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence." This seems to true whether you're a man or a woman. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters. Stay well, everyone!
Really a fun and interesting video Paul!!! Recently a new subscriber to your channel. Mostly liked the way Mae dances. As I can’t dance without falling on my ass, I really enjoy her style. Didn’t watch many with you Paul, but the few I did watch reminded me of all my best friends which recently passed over the last years. Now I watch mostly because of your Paul because of your personality and your outlook on life and all it’s problems. Mae is such a wonderful girl you should think about marriage. She’s a real keeper!!!
Just started SS and there four months that could have five weeks based on four weeks per month. Great video on how you and Mae budget your money. Thanks for sharing. See you someday soon.

Hard to believe how many guys are living on just their social security. I know I couldn't or should I say wouldn't do it. I remember as a married 18 year old with one child counting every single dollar, living paycheck to paycheck and I never want to go through that again.
Paul I was thinking the same thing about you live streaming somewhat often now. If that's what you enjoy doing connecting more with others hey just keep plugging along. If someone doesn't like it well they don't have to watch. They can go somewhere else. Keep doing what you enjoy. PEACE OUT!
She is too good for him. My opinion
you must be a women to have such an opinion
Okay Karen
