Just bought my 2022 3.5 stx and I gotta say we'll worth the money.
I have a 2021 STX with FX4 pack. 3.5 boost Iconic Silver. It has rock craw. Not that you will catch me on a pile of rocks with this truck. Don’t even like talking it through mud. It handles mud and sand no problem. I’ve been more excited to get it to the car wash after. I know it’s an off road truck but shiny and clean is the way I prefer it.
My friend just picked up his Ford F-250 diesel Super Duty and I'm hoping my Ford F-150 XLT Sport 5.0 come in soon. I went with the bench seats because I like the folding shifter but went with the 8" small screen because I felt I didn't need the big screen. I've owned Ram Hemi trucks my whole life but they want to much money for them. I payed under $60k were the F-250 was over $80k.
Curious if you could share how long it took before the 5L started burning oil?

??? To anyone do you think I'm making the right choice with the 5.0 because I've heard of the low problems they have with the motor. Or should I go with the 3.5 V6 twin turbo because dealerships are doing away with the bigger motor and moving into the V6 or inline 6-cylinder. Any info would help. This truck is just for running around going to add a few aftermarket pieces. Thank you for any info.
Get the 2.7. Very fast, efficient and reliable. If you do not tow regularly, it’ll suit your needs perfectly.
Honestly all are great choices. 5.0, 3.5 and 2.7 are all fast and good fuel efficiency, if you need to tow over 10k lbs definitely go with the 5.0 or 3.5 but if you’re just using it for personal/lighter duty the 2.7 is a great option. Subscribe to keep up with us
@@realcarguys Please don't tow 10k lbs with a half ton regardless of the motor. Just because they rate them like that, doesn't mean its safe. Anyone that says otherwise has obviously never towed before.
