Only time you need to turn over drive off, is when towing.

Its the abs wheel sensor...mine did that after I had a shade tree brake dude did a brake job on my truck.

How many sensors does your Ford f150 4x4 have ? Is it three? I watched a video where there's another sensor that sits right on top.of.the pumpkin

2 front wheel speed sensors and the rear uses a differential sensor.

I got a 2001 F150 XLT 4+4 5.4, Auto. My Abs light comes on when i take my foot off the break pedel to go forward or backwards to give it gas and then stays on but you can start and keep the break pedel down the light stay off.

Check what code it is throwing.

@@KonaBlueSVT Sorry that was my security light that flashing a code 12 ABS light. The ABS light will just stays on till you cut off the ingnition switch then go's off

@@beeteam1 You'll need a scan tool to know which code its throwing. That will give you some place to start.

Sorry I have a 98 F 150 and dont have the front abs, I just have the rear one, check it the same?
