- You read the title right! Invidia sent their new UEL header for me to install on my 2022 Subaru WRX! I covered everything from unboxing and showing all the gaskets that are included with the header, OEM header removal and finally Invidia’s UEL header installation with some sound clips at the end! I just wanted to thank the guys at Invidia again for giving me the opportunity to help them showcase their awesome new product! Thanks for watching!

I never googled something so quick in my life. Realized invidia hasnt released this yet 😅
Jdmuscle has. I got mine a few months ago. Personally love it.
am i jealous? yes
Can we get some driving videos?
Yes! I linked the video to the sound clips in the description!
gotta get all the VB’s in MA together
There's a good amount, but I dont think a lot of them are in groups.
I’m down, I’m dead center above Worcester
What is that your using to lift the car
QuickLift hydraulic lift
Cannot wait until they release this to the masses
I also have a white VB. Traded my 17 STI with 90k miles for it a few weeks ago. Do you need a tune for headers?
Yes absolutely!
I'd love some before/after clips. Nice install
Let me see if I can whip up a video for you over the next few days!
Subscribed! I was impressed by this video style and clear footage until you got to the most crucial parts and unfortunately you didn't show any of it 😅 1) How old/many miles on your car? You show no drama at all breaking the nuts loose that other shops have all commented WILL be stripped. That's a good thing but you are one in a million making it look that easy! 2) Could not see how you had to wiggle the header & turbo housing apart and it was hard to understand exactly what you described for the reinstallation and removal of the brackets... I wish you had propped the phone up on a water bottle or anything instead of cutting the video during the most difficult part. This happens to a lot of other almost-perfect installation guides lol. When it gets hard and requires two hands, the camera is sacrificed instead of propped. Its the part we all came to see!!!! Maybe Invidia told you not to show that part... But anyway I'm really glad you put together this video and the sound clips. Subscribed! I want to follow the build of this car and its lifespan with the UEL.
I appreciate the feedback! As it was my first install video I’ve ever done it’s helpful to know what I can do better. I’m actually going to be removing the header again to heat wrap it so I will do a more in depth video on how to wiggle it off the turbo housing. As far as the studs and nuts go they gave me no issues at all. Just took my time and let the penetrating oil sit for a little while before going to break them loose. Also using the right tool for the job is a big help. Thanks again for the positive feedback!
As far as year and miles my car is a 2022 and had 24,400 miles at the time of install. So plenty of heat cycles and I live in New England so harsh winters with lots of salt and moisture.
Holy crap that sounds tough! Has your van been tuned as yet ?
Yes! Uploaded a new video about the dyno day!
Did you need to remove the three head studs? Saw them do it in another video
Nope! You can actually move the whole turbo housing out of the way just enough to slide the header out just by loosening a could extra bolts and brackets!
Were you able to install the skid plate with the uel headers?
With some slight modification, yes. Just have to remove the air duct and you can re install the plastic skid plate back up.
Can this fit in fa24 ascent also?
That would be sick!
Does this affect the twin scroll? Is this bad for the engine?
It induces a little bit of turbo lag. As long as you get tuned for it it’s perfectly fine.
@@That_White_WRX_22 Thank you for the response! It gives it the proper boxer rumble, sounds great!
@@AlxRayn no problem, thank you!
Stock exhaust?
Nameless resonated cat back with 5” mufflers, so a pretty mild exhaust
I'm surprised you didn't just play music instead of the sound clip and put some text about how it sounds!
lol!
When’s this coming out?
I’m not sure on an exact time frame, sorry about that
