    I watched this video because I wanted to see the piston seals replaced. The hardest part of the job. You did that away from the camera. What the hell.

      Getting seals off is easy but yes putting news ones back on can be difficult as they are so tight. It was weird of me not to add it to the video.

    Thought this would be hard as my dust cap has torn and is hanging out from the piston but already took it apart to inspct it and gonna order the parts for the rebuild, thanks for the help dude. 👍

    If changing just the levers will the system need to be bled again ?

    • @Chambers36TheEnter
      @Chambers36TheEnter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes but only a lever bleed. There will be fluid in the caliper and hose. Once you connect the lever you can fill the reservoir and then flick the brake lever and it should dislodge any air in the system. As there's fluid in the caliper and hose the only place for air is right where you screw the hose in to the lever and in the lever it self.

    Where can we buy lever kit replacement?

    • @Chambers36TheEnter
      @Chambers36TheEnter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm in the UK and there's quite a few places.
      Ebay, SJS Cycles, BikeTart, BikeGoo and winstanleysbikes just to name a few shops I use for Hope spares.
      HBSP218 is for the lever blade.
      HBSPC16T is the rebuild kit for the lever.
      Was not sure what you was after so have listed them both. 👍

    Is that the tech 3 lever ?

    • @Chambers36TheEnter
      @Chambers36TheEnter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No the Tech 3 is a different and better design in my opinion. This is just known as the "Tech Master Cylinder" It's from around 2007. The Tech 3 came out around 2012.
