    I really admire this Christian girl. Her responses are full of understanding and grace, and she seems very grounded in her beliefs so much so that she can say exactly what she believes without looking embarrassed for it or having to beat around the bush. That's where I would like to be in my faith..

      Roman Rendon How is she talking about it like it is a cult? I am new in my walk and relationship with Jesus Christ, as well as our Heavenly Father. I have been to a church where I’ve felt as if they were a cult, but churches don’t even teach the Bible fully anymore so I can’t really base anything about Christianity off of that. I thought that the Christian woman in this video was speaking pure scripture and backing it up with valid points. I am wondering why you believe she’s speaking about it like she’s from a cult because I feel I may be missing something

      The original word for hell used in scripture was referring to a place outside of Jerusalem known as Gehenna. This place was a constantly burning pit, this is a historical fact and over the ages it was also used as a figurative description for life devoid of God. Now with English connotations the word is mistaken for a literal place of eternal torment. There is no scriptural precedent for a literal hell. Stop telling people they're going to burn, this is not God's message. God's message is a message of hope and forgiveness. The punishment of disobedience is simply to live and die.

      You don’t need an exorcist to rid yourself of a demon. Jesus’ name can do that for you. Also, because the girl who gay isn’t dead to herself is why she is LIVING by her feelings. The girl who is “Ex Gay” is talking about how, yes, she has feelings for something opposite of what the word of God says but she is dead to herself and the spirit now lives through her so she does not act out of feelings or live from a place of feelings anymore. She is living and walking out of the word instead of just living by her own thoughts and feelings. We are here for much more than ourselves and she is willing to put her own desires aside to live the way God has planned for her.

    I personally was delivered from homosexuality! These are demons of lust and perversion that Jesus personally delivered me from. I thought I was born that way, and the lies being told in the education systems perpetuated my belief. I lived with these beliefs until my mid 20s . The demons were transferred through my dad when I was a toddler. Eventually the power and control of these demons over my life got SO bad, I was suicidal, cutting, relationships were a mess, I had panick attacks to the extreme, drugs, drugs, and more drugs... And these demons had a tight grip on me that made me feel like I couldn't breathe! I cried out with every bit of strength I had, and said, "I'm sorry for lust, Jesus please pray for me!!!", and just like that, Jesus interceded for me and immediately that demon left me! Immediately my mind and thoughts and heart and emotions and the way I saw everything and everyone around me since changed completely!!! It honestly shocked me! That demon had gotten so powerful that this demon was actually looking through my own eyes and had been distorting my perception for SO LONG! MY GOD, HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU JESUS FOR DELIVERING ME!!! Jesus loves us!!! That's why he wants us free from sin that only brings death and destruction, and especially this particular kind, brings so much destruction and death; just the life threatening diseases and the inability to procreate through homosexuality should tell you something(Satan comes to steal kill and destroy). BUT God doesn't want things for us that destroy us! His designs are bursting with life!!! HALLELUJAH!!!

      @@madeleineotten I'm Glad! The bible does say that Jesus interceded on our behalf! But at the time I was so broken down and didn't know how to pray. It was simply out of complete desperation and a feeling of powerlessness. But it worked! And I know for sure that Jesus' intersession and prayer is the most powerful! I mean he's the king of kings!😁 but I've come a long way since then and have learned a lot about prayer warfare... I really appreciate your comment and I'm so glad that God has worked in both our lives! Sexuality shouldn’t not define anyone and when we are disconnected from our Source which is God sent Christ so we can be save and restored to who we were from the beginning... if we are disconnected from him we live life by our own desires. I get my ass out of bed and provide for my family.... Feelings change...try doing what God has told you to do and see how your feelings change....Otherwise live in torment.....By the way, nobody is born gay, a liar, a thief, an adulterer, a murderer, they are all deeds of the devil.

If one guy breaks into your house and steals 50,000.... and one of your friends take 20 dollars from your wallet while you’re taking a shower.... what do you call them both? First off, thank you for your civil response, that’s rare these days.... it’s not my Bible, I didn’t write it I’m just quoting the content. I had a Christian women just 2 days ago ask me why do I judge we are not supposed to judge.... I asked her, how about I bring my really good friend over for dinner, he is really funny, and extremely intelligent. We will have dinner with you, your husband and your 2 small children.... I just want to inform you he is a pedophile and is extremely aroused by children.... but that won’t be a problem for you because you don’t judge? Being gay is a sin just as well as murder, stealing, lying, adultery and others... ask God to extend the mercy he offers and be free from that unnatural desire.....sorry this is painful, but Jesus died on the cross so that lust doesn’t have to control you!!! Don’t be mad, ask God to show you the truth like the girl in the video.....I am not saying you are gay, just a blanket statement to any desires that need to be overcome.

Like have never had any sexual or romantic feelings towards girls, as young as 13 I tried everything to ignore that part of me, I even just straight up lied about having crushes on girls, I had a girl best friend, someone I did love but in no more than a friend way, but I would tell everyone I liked her because well, every other guy I know likes girls, why can't I?
    It was never a choice for me, I would pray to god literally pray, ask, beg for him to take away my gay thoughts or just tell me why I am having these gay thoughts, I denied being gay up until I was about 15. 15 is when I really started doing research, exploring everything and developing my feelings and opinions, I started doing better when I finally decided to turn from christianity and religion in general.
    But homosexuality was never a choice for me, I hated myself, absolutely hated myself because of what I was, I judge myself and was so cruel over something I never had a choice in because I completely thought it was a choice. but it never was. I never chose to be gay, and for most of my life, if I did have the choice, I would of chosen not to be gay.

Also, I’ll give you an example, why is it when men/women become incarcerated and have been straight all their lives then all of a sudden then become Gay when they enter jail. I don’t think its a choice. Being attracted to people is not a choice, but the choice is deciding to go along with it or reject it. Its like, as a heterosexual, being attracted to several guys but then choosing which one to be with. Or choosing none of them. As Christians I think it’s important we understand this. I hear people too often make it seem like you can just choose not to be gay. You definitely have to make choices against it if you do have that attraction but want to change it.

    despite the christian woman's politeness, what she is saying is still very hateful and oppressive. sexual orientation is a natural part of a human being's identity, something you can't change much like skin color. just because your religion says "god says not to do that" does not mean you are morally correct and does not mean you should oppose that on other people. the bible also says its wrong to wear mixed fabrics but no one cares at all. has this woman ever once considered that her religion might not be the correct one? are there not many very different religions who all claim they are the one correct one? this woman clearly has a lot of self hatred ingrained in her from the society she was brought up in, which is very sad, and that fear has consumed her to the point of perpetuating that hate not only upon herself but also on others. sad.

    • @hannahhillig9970
      @hannahhillig9970 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, N! I believe her point was that God is the one who made morals in the first place. Yes, every human being sees differently, and we cannot all be correct. There are disagreements in every topic, but the one who made everything should surely be the one who has the final say, whether or not we agree with it. I once saw from your view as well. And so did the Christian woman! She was actively gay! But you ask how do we know that this religion is the “right one?” By how it changed her life. She once saw from the LGBTQ activist’s point of view, but something in her, in the person she was born, CHANGED! Thats how we can see it.
      Also, just to clarify the mixed clothing issue: Contrary to what many believe, we don’t just “pick and choose” what suits us. For example, life would have been so much easier for the Christian woman here had she ignored the verses on homosexuality. But she didn’t. The Bible does say not to wear mixed clothing, not to have multiple types of crops in one field, not to eat pork... But these things represented something temporary. These rules were set in place to separate God’s people from those around them in that time period by how they lived. This represented the separation between God and man, because of our sin. But then after God sent Jesus to take the punishment for humankind’s sin, the “separation” between God and man was gone. Therefore, there was no need for God’s people to “live separately.” Multiple times in the New Testament you will find that it was then proclaimed that these “separating rules” no longer applied. However, some rules which were not a part of this group remained. Living a homosexual lifestyle is listed in here.
      But it doesn’t end there. I, too, once identified as LGBTQ+. Or, more specifically, pansexual. But it was when God brought me to realize that I needed to turn from living that way and instead live for Him that my life changed. Was i “born that way?” Sure, maybe. But I was born again! Spiritually, that is. In other words, I no longer struggle with wanting to “chase after” every attractive person I meet because I realize that I was made to find fulfillment in chasing God instead, just like the Christian woman in this video! Please understand that I am not trying to “push my religion” on you. Rather, I am hoping to share with you something that changed my life- the realization that God’s never ending love is so much better than any love this world has to offer.

      A MUST READ...... FORGET THE Icing...... Ask yourself…..Why would God make you attracted to the same sex??? A.K.A. “God made me this way gay , then God says it’s a sin in the Bible and it’s against His LAW.! You see that’s like being born heterosexual and wanting to sleep with every girl you see, “ EVERYONE of them” and saying “Well God made me this way, a swinger” and It’s Gods fault I’m like this” and now I have to sleep with every girl that comes down my path! Nice try………
      As a heterosexual Christian. I have rules too in the Bible to follow as well. It’s not easy for us either, but rules are RULES... none the less. So when I talk to someone for the 1st. time who is in a gay lifestyle. As a Christian I really don’t care about their gay lifestyle!! Really, that’s Right !!!
      I ask them, “Do you keep ? The Ten Commandments!
      “Have you lied?” “Have you stolen something that wasn’t yours?” “Have you taken GODS name in vain (by saying G-Damn it ) that’s blasphemy. Exodus 20:12.” “Have you honored your Dad and Mom……Yes..? No..?
      So with that in mind…. look at it this way…. That’s like being dragged into court for the- crimes of ( Rape, Murder, and Drug pedaling ) and as you’re standing there before a judge of the law, in that courtroom, for these very very Bad crimes and the bailiff says to the judge, “Your Honor, look here this man also has some outstanding parking tickets… Sir you need to throw the book at him today, he’s a BAD man!” See because if a person is living in a homosexual lifestyle that’s just icing on the cake of SIN…. There Lying, stealing, and blasphemy, not respecting there Mom and Dad…. (And that’s only four of ) Ten Commandments broken, that alone will get them right into HELL.!
      So on the day of judgment, they are Really In Big Trouble and really need Jesus more than you’re telling them! So forget the Icing and Go after the cake of SIN First... like the judge in court did!! And not for the parking tickets…….. Deal with the icing later! So something to think about when talking to others and evangelizing to people about there homosexuality and about Jesus in there life.
      Thank you my friend for hearing me out and may God bless you as you share with others the word of Jesus, as He has asked us too (Mark 16:15)……. Let it not be said I was silent when needed. Go to the streets and tell others about...

    The one girl’s comparison:
    “I’m from the Philippines.The same way that FEEL I am Philippeno, that’s how I feel about my sexuality. You know? It’s basically the same feeling.”
    The problem is, the fact that you are from the Philippines can’t be changed.
    I strongly believe anyone can have the sexual desire for anyone or anything: man, woman or animal. It depends on where you let your mind dwell.
    Obviously, there are factors that influence where you let your mind dwell. For example: an abusive father would cause a young girls mind to dwell on anything but a man.
    A more subtle example could be: a father or mother being a negative role model to a child, like cheating or addictions. Or any reason where they have a kid thinking “I really don’t want what mom and dad have”.
    It’s easy to point to the bible and say “look, it says here for a man and women to marry each other and that’s it!” And I believe that with all my heart.
    But it’s about time we start showing the example of a Godly relationship in our own marriages. Being faithful to one another in thought, word and deed. Kids are like sponges. They take in everything that you project to them.
    So if you’re not faithful in your own marriage and you’re wondering why your kid doesn’t want “your idea of marriage”, I don’t blame them.
    Time to take some responsibility. Let’s keep our thoughts pure, our relationships clean and let the things we do reflect what Christ would do. People will be drawn to it. And we won’t have to have these debates. Christ never argued and begged people to follow Him. He just walked and lived what He preached and it captured people’s hearts.
    We can do the same

    • @itsonytube1166
      @itsonytube1166 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You say so yourself. Kids are sponge to whatever their environment is like.
      Your own belief is made of that exact example. At least, most Christian, they are born in this education, no child-raised Christan will EVER have an objective point view, because their own FEELING about the warm and peaceful place church of prayers had gave them as kid will stick to them forever ..

    • @MomentumCanada365
      @MomentumCanada365 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@itsonytube1166 Sorry, I'm not exactly sure what it is you're getting at.
      My guess is that you were trying to say that kids raised in a Christian home wont ever have an objective viewpoint.
      If that's what you're saying then I have to completely disagree. Because I was raised in a Christian home myself by two parents that demonstrated the relationship I wanted for myself. And I have that today.
      My entire life, I was able to contrast my parents with my friends parents. I got to see the two differences of values in action my entire life. So i got the ULTIMATE objective view.
      The subjective view like you insisted is ACTUALLY on the one's who refuse to listen to the Christian view of child-raising. You have it backwards. It's not Christian's who turn a deaf ear to people's values. In fact, we celebrate people's values when the values are in the best interest of the person being influenced.

    One thing that I'm a bit confused about is: If God made us all in his image and we are all children of God and God is perfect and makes no mistakes, then surely God makes people to be gay. As both of them said, these feelings are so inherent. But why then would God think being gay is a sin if he made people to be gay?

      God does not make anyone gay. We all get tempted by different sins and being with someone of the same sex is just one temptation among many others. The temptation is not a sin by itself so feeling attracted to someone of the same sex is not a sin as long as you don't choose to dwell on those thoughts and act upon them. God allows Satan to tempt us to sin because he did not want to create robots who had no other choice but to do what is good and he wanted to give us free will.

      There is a lot of ugliness inherent in humans. Does that mean we act on them all?
