    I left the church in the early 90s after a pastor screamed out in a sermon that all gays go to hell. Plus my best friend committed suicide. I hated God for a long time. I came back after two decades after a stroke, a stroke on the anniversary of my friend's death.

      Drew Harper didn't give up his sexuality (that's kind of impossible, isn't it?) and they accept him.

      They didn't give up their sexuality. They accept their identity as LGBTQ--but they also choose to remain obedient to their first love--Jesus Christ.

      Exactly it almost becomes more evil. We have to wait centuries and centuries to be unconditionally loved by them they're the narcissist and that's what we must remember. Or they're blind cuz of a hard heart if you can go through all of this and still be judgmental and can't accept someone that's because you just don't think you're equal with that person ever. I'm leaving these people to their own devices I'm about sick of it. I'm 60 years old I've had a family that's done nothing but shunned me and none of them read the Bible and took it as seriously as I have. They're just the ultimate narcissist. Jesus also said to leave the dead for the Dead.

    We love God, we love people, AND we remember that people are NOT projects. They are the apple of God's eye and we are to pursue them accordingly. But our identity is in JESUS and what HIS Word says WITH THE FULL UNDERSTANDING that HIS SPIRIT gives us what we need to find identity in HIM. A healthy church pursues people while fully in love with all of God's word. IF we don't have that - we need to keep our mouth shut.

    We are born into a broken sinful world and we all are sexual broken but in different ways .. But GOD ! Jesus redeems ! Faith like a mustard changes our focus.

    An excellent presentation, fairly and accurately outlining the complex and nuanced issues involved. I was particularly impressed with and struck by the importance it placed on the Christian community engaging with others (within and without) whose mindset and lifestyle are in profound disagreement with our own in Christ-like love and understanding that to do so is not to affirm the actions with which we disagree. Love and truth must always define our response. Learning to get the balance right on this and other issues is indeed challenging.

    I don’t agree that you can’t love the same sex & still be in right relationship with God, but this video is still very beautiful & touching ❤️ It’s about people not this ‘thing’ that’s wrong.

      Fornication is sex outside of marriage between a man and a woman! Bible is crystal clear!

    Anyone committing any of the above must be removed from church and not come back until they have repented from that sin.
    Fornication is sex outside of marriage, and marriage is only between a man and a woman! Bible is crystal clear!

    I Cor. 6.9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
    10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
    11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. [KJV]
    THE KEY PHRASE IN THE ABOVE PASSAGE IS FOUND IN VERSE 11; "BUT YE ARE WASHED" - WASHED FROM YOUR SIN, CLEANSED, FREED FROM - IN THAT YOU NO LONGER PRACTICE YOUR SINS, BUT YOU STRIVE TO LIVE HOLY, BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN WASHED IN THE BLOOD OF CHRIST.
    NO PRACTICING THIEF, WHOREMONGER, HOMOSEXUAL, ADULTERER, ETC. IS ALLOWED TO BE A MEMBER OF ONE OF THE LORD'S CHURCHES - "UNTIL" YOU HAVE BEEN WASHED IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, NOR ARE YOU SAVED UNTIL THEN! ON THIS EARTH, NO ONE IS SINLESS, YET NO CHILD OF GOD IS STILL CHAINED TO SIN!
    QUESTION; "DO YOU LOVE THE LORD GOD MORE - OR DO YOU LOVE YOUR SIN(S) MORE?!!". THE LORD SAYS; "BE YE HOLY FOR HE IS HOLY".

    I think God has broken through to Preston sprinkle but yet he's still not made new those wineskins are not new he still can't see clearly to love unconditionally. But at least he's further along than so many more we must pray that God shows them the truth. Maybe it's their fear of being wrong in the back of their minds they know they're wrong but that final act of repentance it just can't quite come to and accept repentance and acceptance they've got to go back to the Bible and to God and figure out why where what how will they have the energy to do it probably not. 🙏😇🌈

    It isn't "sin" to be Gay.
    LGBT people are here to teach you religious know-it-alls. We aren't here to learn from you. There's nothing we can learn about Christ's love from you. It's the other way around. Get humble.

      It’s not natural for a man to be with another man and God did not create u that way... Right now u are going thru a spiritual battle but if u surrender your life to Jesus u will be healed and set free

      I understand you're angry. But I learnt _precisely from Jesus and the Church_ that feeling attracted to your same sex is not a sin. And that I must love you, because He loved the ones that were outcasted by religious self-righteous people. Even if you're a sinner----for I'm your fellow sinner too. I'm not better than you. I can't stop wanting to share Him with others, because it's Him who saves me and makes my life bright. But I'm not going to pursue you either, like you were an evangelization project. I want to be able to reflect God's love for others, just because I love Him and want to love my neightbour. Let's try and do it together.

      the world is already too overpopulated anyways, if someone loves someone, let them love. wouldnt it be better to have a happy homosexual couple than a miserable heterosexual family that will crumble and corrupt lives?
