I mean, the cop was legally permitted to act as he did, but any properly trained police force would look down on that reaction; the man is acting like he is high, and some proper training could allow them to take him in for whatever they want to charge him with without ever having to fight them, let alone pepper spray. Coffee, iPad for news, crossword and slippers. You step outside, the sun is shining, you look up and these lunatics are your neighbors.
Man it's everywhere. I live out in the middle of no where on a dead end gravel street with about 5 houses. I live at the beginning of the street, neighbor at the end is a doper turd. Has even broke into my car, which is crazy because my take home patrol car is usually in my drive-way. Luckily after that his other doper turds living there kicked him out so he went and robbed a bank with an ice pick and got 18 years, but its anywhere. I go to these nice houses all the time because some neighbor is tweaking and did something stupid and I always tell them no matter where you live there's always gonna be some sh*tty neighbor unfortunately. I got locked up in Brooklyn for riding a bike on a sidewalk (for real). Spent overnight in center lockup. So being Brooklyn everyone else was in for hard felonies. They didn't stop talking--all at once and loudly--until nearly 4AM. Wakeup at 6AM. The thing was, it wasn't just the amount. They were also incriminiating themselves. Justifying their assaults, break-ins. The few quiet ones are the scary ones, as they are smart and the leaders.
Agreed. It’s practically a physical impossibility for that generation. I used to see it all the time with certain family members and I would just stop talking until they’d realize it. The moment those eyes go to a screen I stop again. It worked great, of course they were raised right. Anyway, behavioral conditioning is older than cell phones and still works!
Am I the only one who thinks it's rude to not look at someone who is talking to you, and instead look and text on your phone? She called the police to come out and help her, and yet doesn't have the decency to give them her undivided attention when they are telling her what her options are. That ex boyfriend is a piece of work. He thinks he's all that and a bag of chips. He's so mistaken.
I think she is in danger from him. Look how triggered he was because they broke up, which is usually followed by attempts to get back together, etc. But she means it. She’s done. When he realizes that, he’s not going quietly. She needs help. And yes, she is very rude.
No it's wasn't, some people have mental issues like adhd and autism that prevent some people from looking into someone's eyes when speaking to them. I know it affects me. She also wasn't texting, she was trying to look up the location to get him evicted, she also thanked them afterwards. Stop being sensitive and actually pay attention to what is going on
It has become as much of an insult as the F word, or C word. The N word has been used as derrogatory for decades. Most people have become imune to the F word by now that it is slowly becoming ineffectual.
White guy maybe half black, so he has the right to use the n-word, or maybe a black friend gave him permission to use it, so he's allowed to use it. I mean, I gave one of my black friends permission to use the word cracker, and he's able to use it now.
Calling them weak because they showed restraint is hilarious. If they were allowed to, they would have folded both of those boys like a taco. Funny thing about the law, it only applies to the law abiding.

It is so tiring to hear people criticize police officers for using numbers to subdue a single suspect. These perps seem to misunderstand that the more cops that there are, the less likely they are to be injured. An officer that is fighting to protect themselves will fight much harder and potentially more injurious, then four or five officers holding you down and cuffing you. The more officers there are the less hard they have to fight to prevent self injury. With today's policing that is absolutely a benefit for the arrestee.
They're salvaging their pride. When your whole personality is being a cool tough guy who doesn't respect authority, getting wrestled into submission is absolutely humiliating.

I know, right. So many of the young folks were never taught any manners and it gets worse every day. He’s going out of his way to help her by telling her how the eviction process works and she’s texting someone. People constantly grab their phones to answer texts immediately or answer calls when they are in line or sitting in a restaurant, when most communication is unimportant and can be put off, especially when you’re talking to someone. It’s like having an in person conversation with somebody and they are constantly looking at everything but you, like they’re making sure nothing better is going on.
She seems to be going through a tough time. Could just be graceful and give her the benefit of doubt. Breaking up and then having a bunch of cops show up to arrest him on a different matter, and all the other randos showing up, that's probably pretty stressful all in one day. She could have been googling things he was talking about or updating family on a concerning situation taking place where she lives. Its not always as simple as we first think.
US police are incredibly sensitive to the slightest annoyance towards them. Even a small touch can land you an assault charge. I hate them. That's the only kind that I've ever seen. It's easy to say how you wish policing were done. Try taking some actual training first, then get some actual experience, THEN tell them how to do their jobs.
Yes, agreed, the ones that drag out with repeated abuse to officers are really frustrating to watch. This guy could have 3 suspects already at the station, while some of the others are still on the first call not figuring out there’s no reasoning with crazy.
I mean, the cop was legally permitted to act as he did, but any properly trained police force would look down on that reaction; the man is acting like he is high, and some proper training could allow them to take him in for whatever they want to charge him with without ever having to fight them, let alone pepper spray. And the cops mouth after taking the guy down wasn’t that of an adult, it was a child in a man‘s body.
@@schiefer1103 You're very naive if you think someone in that guys state is going to be able to de-escalate. Not even hospitals or mental health wards are able to get people in these states to calm down. They resort to sedatives to calm them.

It’s not the fanciest house but you’re super proud of what you accomplished as you go to sit on your deal of a lifetime rattan loveseat on your front porch, extra thick cushions. Coffee, iPad for news, crossword and slippers. You step outside, the sun is shining, you look up and these lunatics are your neighbors.
😅
Had a case a few weeks ago one shitty neighbor was driving home (not my neighbor) and wrecked his car then broke into his neighbors house through the back door for whatever reason. Home owner shot em 3 times and killed him and I was like man at least maybe you won't have another sh*tty neighbor now for a while

No it's wasn't, some people have mental issues like adhd and autism that prevent some people from looking into someone's eyes when speaking to them. I know it affects me. The gratuitous use of the N word is disgusting!
