Screaming and slamming on doors because some of your crew got out of line and in trouble for it is not protesting. Screaming at these cops and directly blaming THEM for the issue in the middle east isn't either. Its fucking stupid.
@davidquin7778 Why? Because he doesn't support Hamas and Hezbollah? Or is it because he isn't antisemitic? Just because you chose to support terrorists, doesn't mean everyone else has to support them as well.
Is it really protesting…? What I don’t get is they always get slaps on the wrists with charges like obstructing justice, disturbing the peace, harassment, property damage, unlawful assembly, trespassing…but punishment can vary depending on the level of the charge. Why are charges of kidnapping never brought up? They’re using force to keep people there against their will, which is much more of a serious charge. It’d actually help dispel some of this nonsense since in the lightest of cases depending on the state, it can carry 2yrs imprisonment to as high as 25yrs in more severe cases.
When you go from a peaceful protest to not allowing people the freedom to go home. The ones who are enrolled in that college need to be kicked out of that college.
Nothing... But it makes a few people feel righteous. Most there were paid protesters and not even affiliated with the school, so it’s also used to push a narrative.

What is Hamas? Hamas is a Palestinian nationalist group that seeks to eliminate the nation of Israel, replacing it with an Islamic state. Hamas is an acronym for Ḥarakat al-Muqāwamah al-Islāmiyyah, which in English translates to “Islamic Resistance Movement.” Hamas is a militant Muslim group that functions through several semi-independent branches, each focusing on a category such as charity, media, or military action. While social welfare is admirable, the group’s use of violence and anti-Semitic propaganda have resulted in its being designated a terrorist organization by many nations worldwide. The group most notably operates in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip of Israel. Hamas is heavily supported by nations such as Iran, Qatar, and Turkey. The “military” efforts of Hamas are routinely denounced as acts of terrorism. These include suicide bombings, the mass launching of homemade, unguided rockets, and other acts directly targeting Israeli civilians. Observers have also criticized Hamas for deliberately placing weapons and other military resources in civilian areas. Some have gone further and accused the group of using Palestinians as human shields. Defenses against such charges tend to rely on technicalities and legalese. Without question, Hamas has shown itself willing to endanger Palestinian people to further their political and religious goals. Hamas also participates in anti-Semitic propaganda and media production. This includes programs targeted at children that encourage martyrdom, hatred for Jews, and support for terrorist acts. Due to the claimed separation of Hamas’s different branches, it is sometimes argued that these radio, television, and print productions do not represent the actual views of Hamas. Given that the branches of Hamas share common resources, leadership, and aims, this is not a reasonable defense. Criticism of Hamas is by no means limited to pro-Israeli, Western, or anti-Islamic voices. A great many Palestinian people also disagree with Hamas’s tactics. Some also reject their more extreme goals. Though Hamas is nominally a Sunni Muslim organization, many Muslims disapprove of the group. Regardless of how one views the ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict, groups primarily dealing in hatred and terrorism, such as Hamas, should not be supported. The goals of Hamas are, biblicaly speaking, the opposite of God’s plan for Israel. Hamas desires Israel’s destruction while God desires to bless Israel and bring about peace (Psalm 122:6). Hamas’s hatred of Israel places it under God’s curse (Genesis 12:3).
If Russia would have done in Gaza what they did in Grozny in the second war. Even in the first. The war would have been already over. Israel is not doing that, and is suffering even more casualties proportionally than the Russians took in Grozny. And despite the international criticism for Russian tactics in Grozny. They were far better for the civilian population than what it's being done right now. And there was no cutting of supplies. There was no water cut. And less any phosphorus in high density urban areas (don't lie, I swit on video.

The point I am getting to is that the people who were actually peacefully protesting back then, asking for either all courses in one language that accommodates all (English being the case) or for courses to accommodate all by being taught in all the languages and not just some. These actual peaceful kids protesting with a valid point, got pepper sprayed, rubber bullets directly or into crowds, or were forcefully removed if they did not disperse accordingly. These kids in this video have no concept of how respectful and peaceful their police are, how they’re are there to protect and keep them safe, and how good they actually have it. @@putridhalo7927 in my opinion. It all went wrong when the brits shipped the jews off to palestine after ww2 and promised them a country for their own then kinda just left them to figure it out for themselves. Israel is a country built on the foundation of blood , the nakba. It is a people whos history is bloody. Now when you force anyone out of their land. There will be war. Thing is that since their history is bloody. They will always see the right way to do it as by means of force. Then palestinians will fight back then theres a cease fire then it all starts again. Theres countless reports of idf soldier killing innocent people. Theres countless reports of hamas killing innocent people. That will never change. It wont change purely for the fact that israel NEEDS hamas. If you dig into it a little you will find alot of things about it. Netenyahu had a conversation leaked about israel needing to keep hamas stocked on weapons so that the west helps them fight them Israel donates money to most political campaigns (that is in their interests) and they proudly claim that too. You dont find websites about what a politicians view is on christianity or islam. You find websites about what their views are on israel and whether jews should vote for them. Israeli air force even attacked a us navy ship in the Mediterranean during the arab israeli war in the 70s. The uss liberty. Look up the dancing israelis on 911. Quite a story there aswell. Netenyahu claiming a UN organization to be a terrorist group is also pretty wild, accused them just to halt their funding from the usa so that they cant send humanitarian aid into palestine. All in all i think people around the world need to wake up and realize that its not black and white. Theres alot of things going on that the common folk dont know is happening and most people dont even bother reading past a headline. Will we see peace one day in the region of palestine? Maybe, although i dont think itll be in our lifetime. Killing anybody will never solve the world’s problems. Yet it seems to be the de facto way of settling arguments in politics.

To be fair, it's 2024, these kids paid $100,000 to know about post colonial neomarixism's effect on communities of color through intersectional retrograde effects of systemic oppression. They have no idea where Palestine is.
They need to grow up. Literally the most important rule in protesting is that even tho it's your right to protest, you have to be aware that if you break laws while doing it, you're going to have to accept the consequences. If you block traffic to protest something, when the cops show up you go along with them and accept the consequences. Everyone knows this and every serious person accepts that that's the price you sometimes need to pay. If you're serious about what you're doing, you accept it as the price to pay for what you're doing. These people are adults but all I see is a bunch of little kids throwing tantrums. Very telling that one lady called *herself* a 'little girl'. Don't protest if you're not ready to face the consequences like an adult. Bunch of toddlers.
Two things. First, your use of scare quotation marks is wrong and kind of stupid. Two, these kids weren’t there, clearly, for social media; they were there standing up for what they believe in. When have you ever done that, anonymous commenter?

I’m so tired of college protests smh. I’m 100% positive the war is not gonna stop because some young adults yelled outside all day. Try donating to charities that are ACTUALLY doing something
Some make sense. Like when it's something the college is doing or has control over. Like at the University of Wisconsin in 1967. Students were protesting Dow Chemical Company and holding that protest at that college BECAUSE the college was allowing Dow to do a large job interview deal there. Dow Chemical was responsible for making things like Napalm, which was being used in Vietnam and causing enormous and horrific damage, death and injury to a lot of people, many of them civilians (it was actually made as a gel to spread out, stick to everything and continue to keep burning and resistant to being put out. The injuries were just nightmarish) and Agent Orange, which was being used there as well and not just poisoning the enemy and the entire environment, but many civilians and our own servicemen. So they had good reasons to hold a protest at that college on that day. It did start as peaceful- a sit in- and then police came in with tear gas and night sticks to try to clear the place. Then it got ugly. But that was actually a peaceful protest conducted by protesters for good reasons at the correct location.

These ignorant kids need to be expelled and not given a tuition refund. It's time they learn real world consequences to their actions. Most don't even know why they're protesting anyway!
The criteria for joining one of these protest groups appears to be (1) having a ridiculously simplistic and uninformed view of the world, (2) the ability shout loudly for extended periods of time, and (3) lots of spare time.

Why are charges of kidnapping never brought up? They’re using force to keep people there against their will, which is much more of a serious charge. What is Hamas?
Hamas is a Palestinian nationalist group that seeks to eliminate the nation of Israel, replacing it with an Islamic state. Hamas is an acronym for Ḥarakat al-Muqāwamah al-Islāmiyyah, which in English translates to “Islamic Resistance Movement.”
Hamas is a militant Muslim group that functions through several semi-independent branches, each focusing on a category such as charity, media, or military action.

Israel donates money to most political campaigns (that is in their interests) and they proudly claim that too.

If you block traffic to protest something, when the cops show up you go along with them and accept the consequences. The typical "college educated" vermin. Can't blame them too much, though, they're wound up by the professors employed by the university.

That's college liberals for you. They act like the civilized and enlightened ones, when I guarantee not a single person there could point to a map and tell you where Gaza even is. It's pointless virtue signaling.

I’m so tired of college protests smh. I’m 100% positive the war is not gonna stop because some young adults yelled outside all day. Try donating to charities that are ACTUALLY doing something
Spot on 💯
Some make sense.
"This is a normal reaction to genocide." How is illegally detaining a school staff that has nothing to do with the war on the other side of the planet "a normal reaction"?
I understand having a protest for blk Americans but this makes no sense
@@stevesharpe3370 And thinnk of the outrage if they were screaming to wipe out all the dustricts the blacks live in, wipe them off the map? From Harlem to Atlanta. Wear some white hoods doing so ? They are so biased and the hypocrisy is staggering. A complete and successful indoctrination. Arab factuons have been working on this behind the scenes at colleges for a few decades, just now being noticed, but allowed by the current Administration in DC. Time to lay the wood and clean it up. DJT, mass delortations
If you spend all day on twitter it's a perfectly normal reaction.
Nutty libs
Even that was kinda dumb tbh
I love how Protests are just randomly coming up with things to yell with super awkward silences in between lol

Honestly she is right to try to stop them speaking to him. The less he says to police the better, there is nothing he can gain from speaking to an officer in that condition, and can incriminate himself. As a palestine supporter this is really embarrassing
This video has taught me I could never be a cop or a protestor. I lack the patience the cops had and I can't be as dense and annoying as the protestors.
Why are they protesting at a place that has nothing to do with the conflict?
I'm sorry, you're making too much sense to understand these protesters 😂😂😂❤
They aren't allowed to cross the street without their parents permission.
They need to go to chic fila. They did it because of c in chic. Reminds them of sea
Because it's safe. They know how the hands if the police are now tied. If they did that in Israel they would be beat, arrested and dragged away to jail.
many colleges actually directly fund the palestinian genocide through their patronage and financial investments in zionist companies. often the desire for $ in these institutions leads to moral laziness or even a reversal of logical moral values.

The criteria for joining one of these protest groups appears to be (1) having a ridiculously simplistic and uninformed view of the world, (2) the ability shout loudly for extended periods of time, and (3) lots of spare time.

Imagine if they put that time and energy into volunteering for local programs...
This is exactly right. So many local nonprofits are struggling and vulnerable communities and causes are underserved. They could actually do good with their energy. Fighting over which group of religious fanatics can control some patch of wasteland on the other side of the world is not helping anything. Not to mention that practically none of these people would be embraced by either side of that conflict and would be jailed instantly by Palestine and Israel.
Or even personal hygiene. You know most of them don’t wear deodorant.
Or studying.
