My girlfriend of 6 months just mentioned a friend of hers has had her 96 Accord for some time. With a bit of convincing we picked it up and it runs great. I asked what she wanted to do with it, now being she had a new car? She said well, would it be a good car to donate or would you rather put a turbo on it and bracket race it for fun. Tears of joy😭😭😭streamed down my face. I think I love you I murmured.
Thanks for the video. It was very helpful. I'm not a mecanic but I learning things little by little, at least to work in my cars, I got a 94 Honda EX, and this was a great video. Next time I will take a chance and do it myself, of course I'll re-watch this video of yours as a step by step guidance. Great job.
I have a 94 accord that’s been sitting in my yard for about 4 years. Finally decided to put some time and effort into it on my own free time, which isn’t much. Plan on replacing most of the front suspension components. Working on removing the driver side inner tie rod, it freely spins and there no way to get a wrench behind it to loosen it up because the bracket for the lower control arm is in the way. New at doing so thought it would be a good learning experience for me. However, I have no idea how to get that inner tie rod out. Great video, very helpful!
Thank you Mr Babb 🙏 ❤. Lol I had to watch this to change my sway bar end links on my 94 accord wagon. Mine were the same blue ones from rockauto lol. I changed its front upper control arms too. Next is front LCAs and lower ball joints next weekend.
good deal bud I just replaced driver side inner outer tie rod, new boots, upper control arms new lower control arms, hubs, rotors, pads, cv axle, and some new coilovers 😆 🤣 shes almost boost ready as far as suspension goes such a good project car if anyone wants to learn how to do mechanic work! good tid bits about leaving the sway bar end links loose when doing the other side ill use that tomorrow when I do the driver side keep up the good buddy!
Man i feel like i just took a college course... I'm getting ready to do new inner and outer tie rods on my 94 accord. Did new control arms, ball joints, cv axles, sway bar links and put it all together just to have my tie rods fail. 😭😭😭 Great video!!
@@hondaresource thank you for replying. I just replaced my u.c.a. yesterday and I am having a terrible time with getting correct ride height. I thought that replacing u.c.a. was a simple remove and replace but was I wrong.I went to your video after the fact for advice. First, I tightened when car was off the ground ( no load) and front end was sky high. Next, I jacked up car - loosened then re-tightened with jack all jacked up under knuckle putting load and now car rides way to low. I got to find an imbetween point otherwise, it is another failed d.i.y. job on my part. Smh
Should every 94-97 honda accord have the same number of turns on the outer tie rods ? I sort of miscounted the turns and im in a tough situation on what to do now
Had to file the sides of the tabs on the new pinch washer that came with my new inner so it'd fit into the slots of the rack, took them down to just barely an interference fit. *TEDIOUS* but needful. Staking that washer was also a bit cramped. Outside of that, a cakewalk...
where are you located at? I have a 1994 Honda Accord I would like to replace the entire front suspension, change the oil, do alignment and replace all brake pads, rotors and bleed the brakes.
Lol you were so bothered by the boot..😅 I get it though. If you do something, do it right. I mean that in general, not aimed towards you because you obviously wanted to change the damn thing.
I get a lot of comments on my videos. "Why didn't you do this?" "Why didn't you do that?" At the end of the day I can only make suggestions to the customers and let them decide😂🤟
One time at band camp my outer was stuck to the inner so had to cut that baby off then I was lost on how many turns and went to get a alignment I was upset 😡 haha
Very helpful video, just bought a 94 Accord in great shape but needs a little front end work. This video will be very helpful.
Thanks

Thank you!
I was just looking at a ‘95 accord for sale hahaha perfect timing
I should have another Accord video out later this week
I am certain that you tighten front upper control arm bushings with car on the ground when suspension is under load to get correct ride height.
That's the best way to do it to have the most life on the bushings

@@hondaresource can the washer be reused?
@@123tamarindo1234 which washer? on the inner tie rod?
@@hondaresource yes on the inner tie rod I ordered one of Amazon and didn't come with a washer
So you dont have to beat the washer with the ears around the outer tie rod? what am i doing wrong they keep backing out? lol
Nice video do you a another video of a 5 gen accord lower control arm?
In the event that I have one come trough for that part, I will.
Do you have a video of changing the front struts?
I don't. I have one at the shop that I may make a video for it.
Thank You!
You're welcome!

No, that's why you have to count
Good video 👍😀
I could tell you really wanted him to put new tie rod boots in 🤣

Thank you for watching

I'm in Alabama
They do make tie rod boots...
Yes, they are called bellows.
U know if 94 accord suspension fits 3rd gen 93 preludes! Lol trying to gather knowledge of what from the accord can swap over and what cant...
Honestly I have no idea. I once owned a 96 Accord sedan that I put a complete h22a4 swap into

😂 I still always recommend getting an alignment.
Have a link to parts ?
I just ordered off rock auto
My money was on the plastic bag. lol
Why did your tie rod go back into the knuckle so easily
its not difficult, the nut is what wedges it in the knuckle
Shoulda put new boots on
Lol
I agree. Did you miss the part where I said customer said no 🤣
Why do you skip a lot of stuff. Your video was good up until you fast forward
Please send me you email I have a question about my 1995 Honda Accord
