  • I'm really having a blast on this thing. Something about the ease of use, sportiness, and a decent top speed of 30 MPH really makes this more fun than I would have expected. I would imagine this being equivalent to the Mazda Miata back when they were hugely popular. Sporty and nimble without actually being fast. I love this thing!

    You are absolutely hauling ass on that thing.

      And the bars are way to uncomfortably narrow on it.

      Yes, they are narrow, but I've gotten used to it, kind of, I would still never take one hand off the handle bar, even to just wave at a neighbor, so I just nod at them as I ride pass them as they gaze at me wirh envy.

    I grew up in Dublin. Old Komandorski Village. Moved there in 73 as a young lad😂

      Oh nice...I had to look this up. I had just arrived in the US around that time, and was living near Lincoln City OR.

    My favorite small fast scooter 👍🏻. Only changes I’d make would be optional air tires. Those Nylon tires are stiff.

      At times it does feel like riding on Fisher Price wheels, takes a bit of confidence going around some of those loose gravel/dirt corners. I personally would not ride it on any wet conditions.

      @@WanderingIntroverse I never ride in the rain or on wet pavement.
      Unfortunately for some people, this might be a necessary form of transportation, inclement or not 😬.

    I'm considering getting E scooter, but the law says you can only drive on streets with 25 Mph speed limit or less and the fastest you can go is 15 Mph. how do you get away with driving at those speeds and on those streets with out getting pulled over by the police all the time?

    • @WanderingIntroverse
      @WanderingIntroverse  ปีที่แล้ว

      California police aren't going to harass you for going over the speed limit, unless you're disrupting pedestrians or vehicle traffic. Just don't be reckless around them (or people) or disrupt traffic. You'll be fine. If you're in a different state or if you're in a rural area you may need to adjust your riding accordingly.

    What range are you getting?

    • @WanderingIntroverse
      @WanderingIntroverse  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have multiple injuries that causes me severe pain if I ride for any length of time. I hope to do a range test soon though, but I have done 14.6 miles and still had 30% battery life, and I was still getting top speed of 26.4 MPH. So I'm confident I could have gotten 20 miles on relatively flat terrain with mixture of high speeds on paved roads and some mixture of gravel and dirt trails at lower speeds.

      @@WanderingIntroverse Sorry to hear about your injuries. I just did about 11 miles today and had about 25-30% left.

      I honestly don't think both our results are too terrible, much has to do with our weight, road conditions, and even weather condition can effect performance. It's super light weight and zippy. I particularly like how this thing is unassuming, which is really suitable for populated areas. Something else I found out, was certain e-twow scooters have a DIY conversion kit for a dual motor and higher capacity battery. Something I hope is made available for the GT Sport.

      @@WanderingIntroverse I did the reverse 11 mile with about 250ft overall incline and got home with just 6% battery. Haha. Climbing really used a lot of juice. I wish there’s an option to add a 2nd battery.

    • @WanderingIntroverse
      @WanderingIntroverse  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So if I'm understanding you, you got 22 miles on one charge w/ 6% left? Not bad at all. As far as battery goes, you should able to remove a few screws and then disconnect the xt60 connector from the controller, and then slide out the battery and do the reverse to swap to a new battery. Certainly isn't quick, but nice to know you can if you carry the 2nd battery in a backpack. You'll need to carry Allen key as well.

    Where did you buy it from?

      I ordered it off ebay, but it is all handled directly with Uscooters rep (I was directly in communications both by phone and text with a guy named Scott). You can go directly through their website or ebay. I choose ebay for the added protection and ease. Either way ask about their discount. Except delay as it seems these are selling fast.
