We would love to. Those cost so much that I doubt they would send us one. I would love to ride it. The only Weped they ever sent us didn't work. I think it's still here somewhere. -Paul
Thank you for testing all of these scooters. I hope you help lots of people out there who need a new scooter or can't decide which one to buy. Lots of choices for sure!
Great video, so many people on the Reddit channel are asking for certain types of scooters and there are so many to choose from but videos like these make the shopping experience so much easier. Props to ESG! 👍🏼
Segway Max G2 must be included as well in terms of safety because the TCS feature is a lifesaver. An hour ago I almost rear end a car after trying to avoid an incoming scooter came from the blind spot going the opposite way and it was pouring rain the scooter went sliding sideways when i brake hard but managed to gain control (thanks to TCS) and steer to safety.
I wanna thank you guys for helping me make my mind up..... I have purchased 2 RX 7s..... When I called Roadrunner I actually spoke to a real person..... This is almost not heard of anymore.... It was a really enjoyable experience.... I can hardly wait to cruise with my adopted son Robbie.... Anyway THANK YOU for the advice......
A tip for people looking buy a scooter: If you don't have a service shop nearby, make sure to watch some videos on how to change tires/tubes on the one you're looking to purchase beforehand. You could avoid having a nightmare on your hands 😉
Great advice. Then, after watching the videos, if changing tires on an electric scoter feels completely out of your comfort zone then get something with solid tires. Though air filled tires have smoother ride and more traction. -Paul
Yep great idea, just got my first escooter a Mantis V2 and I’m currently waiting on a new tube to come in. Had to learn how to take it apart now I’m preparing on putting it back together!
You outdid yourselves with this video. With “time” comes more and more improvements. I feel that we have, finally, met a higher plateau, in PEV evolution
Thank you so much! We're always trying to improve on the electric scooter reviews we've made in the past, and love getting feedback like this! I've literally been here in the comments section all day since we launched the video this morning, enjoying the feedback. -Paul
Need a category for Best Minimum Storage Space so the industry gets pressure to compete with Glion's Dolly & Dolly XL's upright folding, luggage handle, and dolly wheels arrangement so we can get one that's more ergonomic and higher performance without losing the tiny storage footprint.
That's such a great subject. We've tried to come up with a metric for this one. The best metric we could find was to multiply L x W xH when folded to get the total folded area. I feel like folding handlebars are really underrated, but at the same time it takes a surprising amount of engineering to make electric scooter handlebars which fold quickly but also don't start wiggling at some point. Thanks so much for the feedback! We love hearing about which factors are top of mind for people when picking scooters! It's definitely not always about performance! -Paul
I bought a Gotrax xplus last year. My first e scooter. I'm full throttle all the time and get about 16-18 miles. I have over 1200 miles on it and, it runs the same as day 1. Tires still have the nobbies on them. Ridden, year round (hail, downpors, snow, slush, ice), not a single issue. However, I want to upgrade to something faster with longer range.
I put PMT tires on my Mantis King GT and it's now a real street monster. Love this scooter. I have a 3 year old Emove Cruiser as well so I'm really looking forward to seeing the new model. ESG is by far my favorite TH-cam channel. Thank you guys.
Thank you so much! I love hearing about your PMT experience. It absolutely transforms the ride doesn't it? Question for you. Did your range change when you put them on. I'm curious if the softer sidewalls (awesome ride quality though) and lower pressures result in significantly reduced range. I tested a scooter with them recently and the range was lower than I expected for the size of the battery. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide No Paul the range remained the same, maybe even a little better than with the knobby tires it came with. It transformed the handling of the scooter.
i have grown a like for this channel, thanks for info that i need to see, living in Denmark and E-scooter arent the biggest thing but i watch this channel content and know what to have in future, like the tests and the explain given by the whole team,. Thank you for great content...
Thank you so much! We forgot all the metric units until last night and then worked late into the night and all morning to get them in just for our friends who live in countries that use modern units of measure! -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide thank you soo much for the time to make changes at the last moment, much apreciated and worth the watch everytime, have a great day/night ESG team😊
Great video! You guys are mostly why I got my VMAX VX2 PRO GT. I wanted long range and a high IPX rating just in case of sudden summertime rainfalls.....And I got it for $809 ❤
Score! VMAX makes great electric scooters. We come across a lot of new brands every year, but it's rare when a new brand comes along and just plants itself right there with the very best in the world. (but I guess it makes sense, because they're just new to the US, not actually a new company) My cousin is loving her VX2! -Paul
Just bought my first scooter went with the emove cruiser wanted something that would get me the distance thank you for reviewing so manny scooter really helped me decide the best one for my needs!
Wow, what perfect timing, y'all posted this right when I was looking into buying a scooter, thanks! I'm a pretty tall guy, so I'm really glad y'all posted some for heavier people ❤
I have been using my wide wheel pro round our hilly golf course for 4 years. Replaced two speed controllers and a few brake pads. Modified it to carry my golf bag, been working well till now- front motor starting to growl and slowing up hill. What do you reckon I should buy next to do the same job?
Nice vid guys👍I just got the RS5 Max myself and have not ridden it yet.Mitchell obviously tested it and liked it and I was sold I will ride gently right now bc I need gear.I have a helmet but want knee, elbow, gloves, and maybe something padded around the rear, hips.Just subbed as well guys, love the content.
The amount of thought and time went into this video is beyond me! Great job guys! I would love it if you guys can test scooters from YUME. Please do, we need to hear your feedback on whether or not it’s worth buying one.
Thank you so much! As always, I wish I had another week or a couple more days to find even better video clips from all 20 review videos to illustrate every scooter, but we have to get testing for the next electric scooter review videos! I'm really enjoying hearing all of the feedback. Oh, and we're getting a lot of requests for Yume. Hopefully Yume will reach out to us again. We haven't reviewed any of their scooters yet. -Paul
Love the quality of the video, however we are not even halfway thru 2024 yet, there are some new scooters still releasing that could easily be on this list.
We did an end-of the year scooter awards video for 2023. We'll probably do another (better one) at the end of 2024. That way we're spaced out by about 6 months. -Paul
Where is the Inmotion RS?? It didn't make the list?? Nice video, but not including the RS kind of diminishes the video. It is an absolute beast of a scooter!!! I bought my RS due to you all praising it...Anyways, keep up the good work.
Thanks so much! We love the RS. If we had expanded the Heavy Rider's category by one electric scooter it would have been in there. I wish we would have thought to do that because it's not just heavy but tall riders that the RS and RS Lite are good for. It's still the only scooter I've ever raced (on a race track). -Paul
After owning 3 different NanRobots (the D5+2.0 was my fav), I’ve gotta say that my first Dualtron solidified where my heart is at. I know…paying for the brand. But I LOVE them. They always should be considered…if just to acknowledge they’re craftsmanship and tenure😢
Great feedback thank you. We received three Dualtron scooters yesterday and are looking forward to getting our Dualtron coverage moving again after about a year of not being able to get the scooters! (I don't know if you made it that far into the video, but we talk about it at the very end) -Paul
Just bought a segway ninebot e2 pro for its extra torque on hills and while its exactly what i was looking for ive noticed it has almost no reviews despite being a significant upgrade to an already loved model. Any plans to do a review on it at some point?
I'm really looking forward to Mitchell's full review of the NIU KQi 300X. He had a chance to ride it at an industry show, but full testing hasn't happened yet. The NIU brand gets high marks from us for reliability though, and there is a lot of excitement about that electric scooter. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide yeah you should stop, at least not show this in those video reviews. I don't mind if you go wild in dedicated videos with proper warnings, etc. Just my 2 cents.
Great 2024 round-up video! As a commuter rider, I can vouch for Apollo City Pro 2023 as my main driver, and NIU KQi Air for portability, and stow-and-go trips. Just a reminder, every scooter I have owned (9 in total I think, including replacements), will have issues you have to deal with, and I've had to communicate with the manufacturer for every single one, so customer service is paramount.
Wow! Great feedback! Thanks so much! You’re the first person I’ve heard from who has the Air. How has your experience been with support from NIU? -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I got the KQi Air for it's portability, and build quality, as it's so lightweight and easy to stow-and-go. Does everything I expected it to, and serves it's purpose well. Anywhere I go with the family, whether it be to a park/hotel/camping trip etc, it can easily just be stored and maneuvered around in the trunk with or on top of other cargo, and I also have a KQi2 Pro to compare. I can fit both the Apollo City Pro and the KQi Air in the trunk of my CX-5 without having the seats folded down, and with soft cargo (duffel/tote bags etc). Great compliment to a transit commute as well where I live. High-up, 'protected' handlebar turn signal design is great, and anti-theft app features are the best in the business IMO. The folding mechanism is not as easy to latch as it's prior models, because where it latches, in the position you end up being, with your head above the latch, you can't see due to the handlebar front-plate and position, and have to feel around to adjust it, which is also not as intuitive, as you guys have already noted in your reviews. The anti-theft lights/alarm system is very sensitive, and takes some time getting used to. I have to disable the bluetooth link connection feature, because in the home, the lights will constantly trigger as BT is disconnected/reconnected if you go near with your phone, and just randomly if already in range. The alarm has to be disabled via the app every time you want to transport it, because even if you use your NFC card to unlock it and move it around, when it gets turned off, if it senses it's being moved around in your trunk, the alarm will sound, and while you're driving, it's annoying as it's much louder than previous models. Also, the turn-signals don't auto-turn off (like on the Apollo City Pro). The twist throttle is already a destabilizing hand grip, and the combination of using the turn signals with the twist throttle becomes even more destabilizing (also, I don't like to use cruise control). Range and power is acceptable. Got the best bike lock in the industry as well, a Litelok X3, and I can attach both the City Pro and KQi Air to a thick 2" bike rack/post easily with it. Great 2 scooter combo from my experience (1 year City Pro, 6 months KQi Air, both pre-ordered). EDIT: Some of the issues with the KQi Air were a turn signal screw fell out because of no suspension or thread locker, and the charger failed/died within 2 months of very limited use/ownership, and it took more than 2 months for NIU to ship me a new one after the RMA was approved.
Great feedback! Ramier’s recent Best for Heavy Riders video is intended to cover tall riders too, but it doesn’t fit in the title as well. Here’s that one. -Paul th-cam.com/video/QKz2xZUZbZ8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RiGbzMR1Jz2SpR2x
It was nearly perfect video! Nearly! If you would've added to the "Tested range AND average speed" I would give this video a 11/10. Anyways, excellent video!
Thank you so much. We track average speed on all of the range tests we perform, but it’s a tricky number to throw out there without a ton of explanation next to it. The average speed of almost all of our range tests is around 18mph. But! I’m almost never riding at 18mph! It’s an urban range test, so there is a lot of speeding up and slowing down for stop signs and corners. My typical peak speed between corners is 25mph - 30mph on faster scooters and 20 to 25 on slower scooters. Of course on scooters which go less than 20 I’m just full throttle all the time, with the hills taking me down to 14 or 15mph sometimes. But if I say I rode a 60mph scooter at an average speed of 18mph people would think “nobody rides a fast scooter like that. But my goal when riding all of the scooters is to ride the way I think scooter owners would ride them. So I try to not ride them any particular way, but to ride the scooters the way the scooter wants to ride, if that makes sense. Most of the time the scooter will inspire a certain kind of riding. Our range test is probably tougher than it needs to be. It’s a 1.6 mile loop with 91 or 92 feet of elevation from the lowest to highest points. So it really punishes smaller scooters maybe a little harder than it needs to. But, when I arrived we had maybe 30 range tests on that route already, so we kept going. I’m always listening to other people’s reports of their range and have been pleased to hear that ours tends to be equal or slightly shorter than most people’s reported range, and that’s definitely what we’re going for. Anyway. I thought your sincere appreciation deserved a sincere and detailed response :-) Thanks so much for your support. -Paul
I have had different under 600$ scooters and in our line up surprisingly the Hiboy ks4 pro has been the most reliable and absolutely amazing scooter, im surprised hiboy was not in your list in our scooters we used Hiboy for many years and used almost everyday and it still is perfect great speed Range reliable no maintenance, I haven't touched it since it came in the box and it has been wonderful. What are your thoughts on Hiboy and why it didn't make the list?
We've featured the Hiboy S2 on almost every Best Electric Scooters list for the last three years including our video about the best electric scooters for climbing hills a few weeks ago (linked below). Hiboy hasn't reached out to us in a long long time, so we haven't tested any of their latest scooters, unfortunately. -Paul th-cam.com/video/dqJyyWeYeTA/w-d-xo.html
@@greplink we physically test every scooter we review, for range, top speed, acceleration, braking distance, ride quality and build quality. Scooter companies typically send out review units to TH-cam channels for testing. We just haven’t heard from Hiboy in a long time. But I’m not the one who handles that part of the review process. I just test them and talk about them. -Paul
very informative! My budget is $1250, i need a scooter for me and my daughter (230lbs combined) with a seat that I can add a seat for her, we ride toghether. 40-50 MPH. What do you recommend?
Wow, that's an interesting set of requirements. Unfortunately almost all scooters are designed for single riders. The only scooters I can think of that would be even close to safe to ride with two riders would be something like Voro Motors RoadRunner Pro, if it came with rear footpegs (I don't think it's an option). It's about twice your budget though. I strongly recommend not riding two-up on a scooter with 10 or 11 inch tires. I just don't think the stability will be there for you and your daughter. Even adding a factory seat to a smaller kick-scooter and riding it solo at those speeds sounds scary to me. They can get wiggly in a hurry if you lift a hand off of the handlebars to scratch your nose or adjust your glasses. I would definitely do a ton of research before buying anything and see if you can find someone who is doing exactly the kind of riding you want to do. Sorry I don't have a better answer. -Paul
Raptor rider here, I like mine too. If you get the chance check out the Teewing mars xtr. It always seems to be left out of the best of catagory even though the kaabo on went a fraction of a mph faster with nowhere near the range.
Hi guys, thanks for all the reviews, I'm curious to know why GOTRAX GX1,GX2,GX3 didn't make the list? can you let me know what you think of them please? Thanks!
Nami is old news 😂 edit: keep in mind these guys have affiliated links to these scooters where as they likely don't with Nami either. Many of these scooter reviews in general are bias to reviewing because of this. I bought the updated burn e 2 Max about 6 months ago. It's amazing and I love it!! With PMTs it's even better!! ❤
The Nami Klima climbs hills substantially better than the ones mentioned, mainly because it was engineered for torque and not top speed which to me is way more important. I am guessing because it doesn’t do 45mph+ they decided it was an honorable mention. However I am sure it was close being that it does go 42mph. 😅
@@brandonpaul6186 Nami is one of the best and proven over the years. Looks like an adult scooter( I like the tubular frame design it's more sound) like a Harley vrod versus the toys r us looking toy scooter competition imo. Love that Nami is my first pev and I might look at buying the Nami blast Max for secondary scoot with PMTs. I had a chance to feel the kaabo wolf GTR and hated the locking mechanism too. It's all preference
Great scooter. We love the RS. We probably could have squeezed one more electric scooter under the heavy/tall riders category, because the Inmotion RS is such a great scooter for tall riders as is the RS Lite. We made the list a bit more broad this year and that meant fewer slots for the ultra-high performance scooters like the RS. -Paul
Thank you for all of your research, so helpful! Quick question, we are looking at the Nie and found a killer deal on the NIU KQi1 Sport. Would you recommend this one? Is it basically the same as the KQi2 that you recommended? It's for a beginner.
I’m still deciding as a heavy rider that wants a premium scooter for commuting around town and I’m stuck between the RX7 and Mars XTR. Both are absolutely awesome and can handle my weight of 270 np.
Those are both great scooters and very very different to ride. The Teewing Mars XTR is just pure instant power with great suspension and gobs of range, but.... it takes full concentration to control the throttle in the mode that gives you all the power. The top mode it kind of nuts. The Roadrunner RX7 on the other hand is all finesse and high end components. I felt like a total badass riding it around at night. It's faster than you'd ever need a scooter to be and it's easy to ride in any of the modes. -Paul
Cool video , friendly critique tho was the hand movements from the main gentleman were a-bit distracting but i think u dudes are doing a great job and i appreciate the information 🤘🏻
I daily drive a currus nf plus, i also have a emove touring with over 4000 miles, but im always in the market for a reliable, cheap commuter scooter. Thank you ESG...
Dang! A Currus! That's a rare beast. The only one I've ever seen in person is the Panther we borrowed ages ago for a review. Nice work racking up thoseTouring miles. How many miles do you get out of the tires? Thank you so much for telling me about those, and for your support! -Paul
I’ve built and rode every type of pev but a scooter somehow except a scooter. Crazy I’ve never touched one when I’d argue they’re probably the most convenient and practical size/skill requirement/performance wise. So many options compared to others so nice comprehensive list! Imagine how many hours went into testing all of these! They’re also pretty spooky since they make up a questionable amount of ER visits lately. This is coming from a dude who’s fractured his skull on a regular trick board before building 50mph eboards lol.
I think the number one mistake people make (myself included.... multiple times because I apparently don't learn from my mistakes) is riding one handed. Motorcycle one-handed? No problem! Bicycle one-handed.... all day long. Scooter one-handed.... 3, 2, 1.... crash! I'll bet 80% of scooter injuries are from riding one handed (I don't actually have the stats though). -Paul
Please do a video that compares the best in class scooter, as it relates to where they stand in the following categories: • Reliability. What scooters are holding up the best and causing less grief and less downtime. • Customer Service. What scooter companies back up scooter with great (good) customer service. • Best parts availability. What scooter companies actually have part available to sell you? Especially tire availability. • Ease of maintenance. What scooters are made to be easier (less trouble) to do maintenance on?
We made it! I’ve linked it below. The reliability scores I assign to scooters take into account 11 factors including water resistance ratings, whether they’re UL listed, warranty length, parts availability, how had they are to work on, whether they have tubeless tires, split rims etc. I still score every scooter we test though I only mention the score in the review if it’s exceptionally good or bad. -Paul th-cam.com/video/LqelldJilSk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IX-EoH3pxJOTEnxy
I recently purchased the G3 gotrax and 4 and g2puls all very good scooters kids love them Can I wait to upgrade Next summer your videos are a life saver and I trust your opinion and testing. My gotrax Is going strong at three hundred and fifty miles
So I got my first e scooter 3 weeks ago I bought two g2max segways so glad I started on them they are gorgeous they take any drop jump I’ve thrown at it speed is perfect at 22 on the dash at full charge only dives to 20 mph at medium charge and it does wheelies. Super sturdy app interface is amazing I now own a nanrobot n6 72v with the 50 mph top speed it’s awesome definently needs the damper but I’m in love thinking next will be the roadrunner rx7 ! Love these things
You guys are the best channel and potential company for Scooter reviews. I will not look anywhere anywhere else. You guys are very self-explanatory. And enjoyable to watch your videos. I Watched this video without skipping one second I will be subscribing to you guys after this comment OK now send me the Wolf gtr or the emove roadster for leaving just beautiful coming lol 😂 keep up the good work guys
Thank you. I needed this. Moved to UC Davis for vet school and I wanted to sell my old gotrax that I bought in 2021 for a newer, faster, longer range scooter.
Nice! My wife went to Davis! I used to play in a band that was based in Davis. We opened up for No Doubt at a place called Mansion Cellars (not there anymore). -Paul
I’m looking into this (Okai Panther) scooter, and at 6'3", it feels a little compact. The throttle is quite sensitive. I’ll have a review on my channel shortly, and the front suspension is easy to adjust! It’s almost my favorite, but it does have some misses.
And here I am stuck with my Zero 10X. Gotta say, I'm still happy with it and have no real reason to upgrade since it's still reliable, goes as fast as I'm willing to go, has a decent range and most importantly gets me from A to B without any hassle.
Great review of the GX zero. I am looking for a scooter for my son who is a freshman in college, hes 6'1 and weighs 220lbs. The two I'm considering are the Go Trax G6 and GX zero. Suggestions?
Really good recommendations. Unfortunately 90% of these scooters are not available in Europe (some of them are available in the UK, but EU countries have import fees)
Dang! So sorry to hear that. We need to learn more about the EU market. It would be great to be able to make EU-specific videos some day. This is very useful feedback. Thanks! -Paul
Hey, new subscriber here. I want to buy a scooter for me to commute for work, but most of your scooter recommendations in this video didn't available in my country. Which one should i choose, Dualtron Togo (36v), or cheaper Segway D28 for around 8-10 miles range? Thanks
Soon to be available in 2024 is the new e-TWOW TankTorq TK5. Hope to see a review of it on this channel. e-TWOW is the maker of Uscooters and the Fluid Mosquito. It looks to be an ultra-high performance scooter that weighs significantly less than its peers.
Thanks guys this was awesome. I'm super curios about your thoughts on the inmotion climber? I'm assuming not seeing it here is a bad sign 😥.. Thank you for your time
We haven’t tested it yet, so we don’t know how it rides or performs. I asked for one prior to the hill climb video, but it still hasn’t arrived. I’m curious about it too. Thanks for the reminder. I should reach out again. -Paul
Thank you so much! We do too! Saturday, I literally spent the entire day in the comments section, because it's so fun to see all of the feedback! Cheers. -Paul
We're bummed we didn't have more Dualtrons. We address the Dualtron situation at the end of the video. We just received 3 Dualtron electric scooters yesterday (the first Minimotors scooters we've got our hands on in about a year). The first batch are three of the smaller ones, but we hope to get our hands on some faster ones like the Thunder 3 at some point. We looooooove NAMI scooters and thing Michael Sha is a scooter genius. The Klima made two honorable mentions and in fact is one of the only scooters Mitchell took with him when he moved to Vegas. If we had a category for best electric scooter for racing, the BURN-E would have won hands down. I got dusted by a NAMI BURN-E at Riderfest. (Eric Wilson won the whole thing on his BURN-E). Come to think of it, we're overdue for a NAMI review. It's been over a year since we reviewed the Klima (March 2023). -Paul
First year scooter user here. Do you have any riding data on what the final odometer reading will likely be? Or are scooters to new for that info? I just wonder approximately how many miles I'll get from my MaxG2.
You should be able to get about 10,000 miles or more out of the battery. The first model, the G30 was known to sometimes use up the front wheel bearings, but that might be rain-riding related. Steep hills for long periods of time can sometimes damage controllers or motor wires, but they have gotten better at sensing this and turning down the power when needed. Tires wear out in 1000 to 3000 miles depending on how hard you use the brakes. -Paul
Awesome! I'm close to 1000 miles, and the scooter is still going strong. I think it would be a good topic to cover in a video. Or maybe you did already?
That's awesome you've ridden your Ninebot Max G2 so much already. We might need your help in making a long term review. We have so many scooters to ride that most of our electric scooters end up having about 100 miles on them. -Paul
@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I have two ninebot max G2 and one kqi3 max scooters. First max G2 is around 850 miles, and the second is around 150. The third scooter is around 600km. I'm logging maximum mileage this summer before I get a 40+ mph scooter next year. I'll keep you updated.
Got myself a ienyrid WT limit 330lbs I’m about 280lbs. Goes 45 miles per hour 41 with my weight. Lights are cool suspension is good and brakes. Has 3 speeds eco, std and turbo. Got it using Affirm..
Unfortunately Nanrobot distribution in the US seems to come and go, so we've never had good access to their scooters. Since we haven't tested them we don't know their true performance numbers and can't include them on the list. Thanks for letting me know about this one. I haven't heard of their C1. The design looks pretty cool. I'll go read more about it. -Paul
Why can’t anyone make a light weight dual motor scooter that has self sealing tires, regen braking, carbon frame, hydraulic brakes, fast charging and has full suspension
Can you guys do a thorough review on the Roadrunner RS5 Max/Pro? That’s the one I’m really leaning towards as of now… being 6’1” and 255lbs I feel it would have decent performance and range for my casual use
I bought a Dualtron Popular 25mah model this summer. I am dying to see you guys compare it to its closest competition. I enjoy mine a lot. I think it can make the 2025 list!
For the teverun Fighter Supreme, is it the 7260r model or the new updated ultra model? I'm looking to purchase the ultra model and I'm hoping you guys review the ultra model as it has a much better water rating and has a better stem and everything else
I just reached out to ask which one we’re getting and the answer wasn’t clear. I’m hoping the latest and fastest version is what comes. Alienrides is working on getting it to us. -Paul
I received mine last week and rode for 400 km so far and rode at speed 2 at 71 km/hr and beside adjusting the suspension and balancing the wheels all is great so far. No high speed wobble on that one . Yes it is with 11 inch city tires. The fighter Supreme Ultra 7260 .
Great to hear! I balanced the tires on the RX7 for the speed run. I'm really looking forward to testing the Teverun 7260 Fighter Supreme, or whichever version Alienrides sends to us. -Paul
I'd really like to know for safety reasons which scooter has the maximum suspension travel, surprise pot hole got me, no front end suspension ended in a alot of pain. I need my front end to get out of a hole, wheel size helps but suspension travel is as important.
The range is in top performance mode on a very hilly course. Riding at the speed I think riders would use in a city. Basically car speed for the fast scooters and full speed for the slower ones. It’s Berkeley though, so my peak speeds are only just above 30mph on the fast ones. -Paul
So many scooters! Still planning on getting that GoTrax GX-3, but I'm debating on whether or not to get something between that and what I have now (Segway Ninebot E22) in the meantime. I love the E22, since it's small and really easy to carry around and fit in my car, but it only goes 12mph, which is surprisingly slow when you are used to it.
Nice! I love the tires on the E22! It's the only scooter we've ever tested that has PU foam inside. It really feels like an air-filled tire without the possibility of getting a flat! I don't know if this trick still works, but we bolted an ES4 battery onto the stem and it automatically increase the top speed. You can see our data in this review. -Paul th-cam.com/video/XLxC2E6OILc/w-d-xo.html
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I did see that adding an external battery to it would increase the speed. Maybe I should do that so I can save up for the GX-3 faster. After watching that video, I can say it's definitely true that it's very much a no-frills scooter that gets you from point A to point B, which is just fine because my use for it has so far been last-mile commuting. I did have to laugh at the hill-climb portion of the video. Pretty much sums up my experience on even the mildest hills. Still, for the approximately $250 I spent on it brand new, it's been great. I did get it before I found your channel, but it's what got me into wanting to see what else was out there and led me to you guys. Stay safe!
That's a total score! $250 for any Segway Ninebot electric scooter is an amazing deal! I think the big battery costs close to that amount all by itself! Cheers! -Paul
We haven't tested one of those because they seem to be import-it-yourself scooters, which can come with a whole list of complications. Whenever I think of FLJ I think of that famous FLJ electric scooter video where the scooter is shooting flames everywhere. You'll find it if you google "flj electric scooter on fire" -Paul
I saw the good 2023 video. I was waiting for the 2024 version so thank you! I'm surprised to not see the "new" Inokim Quick 4 Super, somewhere in the list
Hey, I just started to research scooters and have a question for you. We all know Iscooter here in the US. They have a dual motor model called the iX8 and there is zero information out there on it. The price seems really good for it's spec. Will you guys be reviewing it or have any information available on it? Thanks in advance.
Cool video as always, never seen you test any iENYRID scooters and would be nice to see what you think...yea of course they don't compare to higher class scooters but are affordable and offer good specs, I have the ienyrid M4Pro S+ it does 28mph 330lbs max user....is my first scooter and if I do buy another it seems I will have to upgrade in a few features and pay alot more, unless I get a good deal...hope you test them
Thank you so much for your suggestion. I love hearing about new brands. I'll look them up. Typically if we haven't tested a scooter it's because they don't have full distribution in the US or aren't selling enough of them here for them to want to reach out to us and send us a scooter for testing. -Paul
Excellent video ! Im about to buy an electric scooter but unfortunately most of the listed models don't exist in my country. Could you please help me choose from xiaomi, segway or dualtron a model that is good enough for commuting to work ? ( range and weight are important for me) Thank you so much for this great video

A tip for people looking buy a scooter:
If you don't have a service shop nearby, make sure to watch some videos on how to change tires/tubes on the one you're looking to purchase beforehand.
@haywardhummus8777 I don't ride anymore but when I bought my Speedway 4 Pro and Dualtron Ultra in 2018 they both had split-rims.

I also used the same inner tubes and run 50 psi.
What advantages does PMT tires offer better than CST tires ? Please. Thanks

-Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
I got the KQi Air for it's portability, and build quality, as it's so lightweight and easy to stow-and-go.
No midnight rs? I wish you did a "best for tall riders"category. That Is my biggest issue at 6'7"
Great feedback! Ramier’s recent Best for Heavy Riders video is intended to cover tall riders too, but it doesn’t fit in the title as well.
Here’s that one. -Paul

Anyway. I thought your sincere appreciation deserved a sincere and detailed response :-)
Thanks so much for your support.

very informative!
-Paul

Klima makes two honorable mentions. -Paul
I got the nami klima and the gotrax gx2 both really great
The Nami Klima climbs hills substantially better than the ones mentioned, mainly because it was engineered for torque and not top speed which to me is way more important.
The fact that you put also the data with the metric system puts you ahead of the competitors 🙌
Please keep it up 🙏
Thanks very much!
Why isn't the in motion RS on here
Great scooter.
Solid deal!
Super happy and contented with my Apollo City, I own 2. just works and super comfy
Great to hear! Thanks so much for letting us know! -Paul
-Paul
i came here to narrow down my choices!! i left with 33 more choices GREAt thanks
Ha ha! So happy we could “help”. :-)
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! -Paul
Cool video , friendly critique tho was the hand movements from the main gentleman were a-bit distracting but i think u dudes are doing a great job and i appreciate the information 🤘🏻
Noted!
I daily drive a currus nf plus, i also have a emove touring with over 4000 miles, but im always in the market for a reliable, cheap commuter scooter. Thank you ESG...
Thanks for sharing!
Dang!
-Paul
Please do a video that compares the best in class scooter, as it relates to where they stand in the following categories:
• Reliability.

I recently purchased the G3 gotrax and 4 and g2puls all very good scooters kids love them Can I wait to upgrade Next summer your videos are a life saver and I trust your opinion and testing. My gotrax Is going strong at three hundred and fifty miles
Great Break Down Guys. Thanks for going above and beyond to bring the PEV community well researched content.
Our pleasure!
OMG I looke up for so long for such a video, THANK YOU!
You're welcome!!
This is clearly one of the best scooter reviews have seen this year🎉🎉🎉🎉
So I got my first e scooter 3 weeks ago
I bought two g2max segways so glad I started on them they are gorgeous they take any drop jump I’ve thrown at it speed is perfect at 22 on the dash at full charge only dives to 20 mph at medium charge and it does wheelies.
:-) Thank you so much for the kind words! -Paul
Thanks for the feedback. Good luck with your review! -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Thanks. Do you guys ever intend to be a market force enough to influence the design of a scooter?
I'm missing 'most comfortable scooters'. For those of us who prioritize comfort over power, speed or range.
Good idea!
Have you tested the ZT3 pro? How does it fair in this video? What category would it be best in?
Yes check our channel! We reviewed it
And here I am stuck with my Zero 10X. Gotta say, I'm still happy with it and have no real reason to upgrade since it's still reliable, goes as fast as I'm willing to go, has a decent range and most importantly gets me from A to B without any hassle.
I always appreciate your videos and scooter reviews.
Thank you so much. We wouldn’t be here without your support! -Paul
Great review of the GX zero. I am looking for a scooter for my son who is a freshman in college, hes 6'1 and weighs 220lbs. The two I'm considering are the Go Trax G6 and GX zero. Suggestions?
GX Zero for sure!
Thanks!
-Paul
Great job Men in explaining so much info on so many scooters!
Glad it was helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you guys for the reviews lol makes picking a little bit harder but thats just me being that guy who'd love have more them onen
Hey, new subscriber here. I want to buy a scooter for me to commute for work, but most of your scooter recommendations in this video didn't available in my country. Which one should i choose, Dualtron Togo (36v), or cheaper Segway D28 for around 8-10 miles range?
Thanks
Togo
I got the solar 3.0 from the honorable mentions. Seems like the best all-around scooter for my needs. Thanks for the video guys, it helped a ton!
Our pleasure!
Awesome video as always. Keep up the great work
Thank you so much! We really appreciate your support! -Paul
Interesting. We’ve had one here for about 6 months. I’ve only ridden it a little. I’ll have to check back in on that model again. -Paul
-Paul
I always look forward to your "best of" videos.
Thank you so much! We do too! Saturday, I literally spent the entire day in the comments section, because it's so fun to see all of the feedback! Cheers. -Paul
There are a fair amount of Dualtron and Nami riders out there. It’s unfortunate there’s a lack of coverage of them on this channel.
-Paul
Do you have test the Segway d38u ?
Not yet
Just bought a Gotrax G Max Ultra 3 wks ago..
Works Great!!..cool video.
Should I get the Segway E2 plus or the Hiboy S2 wich one of these would you recommend
Segway
I'll keep you updated.
great vid, new to scooters, any opinions on the iscooters, about to buy 2 ix7's... but having doubts
We have not reviewed those brands
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide heard anything positive or negative, ? thanks
Have you tested the Kukirin G4? It cost 800 USD and does 70 km/h. I got one for my first scooter, it is really good.
We have not tested that one!
I have watched this video like 7 times lo, so much amazing info! Thanks guy
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Went and bought me an Apollo City from watching this. Arrives this weekend!
Got myself a ienyrid WT limit 330lbs I’m about 280lbs. Goes 45 miles per hour 41 with my weight. Lights are cool suspension is good and brakes. Has 3 speeds eco, std and turbo. Got it using Affirm..
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience :)
Thank you so much for watching, and for your support! Much appreciated! -Paul
Im more in awe watching you ride the scooter WITHOUT HANDS! 😮
Cant believe NanRobot C1 is not on list. $599, 25mph, 25 mile range, 10 inch tires, 260 lbs, great customer service. Major miss on this video.
-Paul
I just got a Punk Pro and was hoping for a mention but can appreciate you bringing up the Apollo Pro copy 😂
Ha ha! For sure that’s what I’m talking about! :-)
-Paul
somehow this didnt make it any easier to pick a scooter, but it was very informative.
Did you go full speed when measuring the range? (I'm mostly interested in the KQI3 MAX), thanks.
Around 17-18mph average
As a college student living on campus, should I go for the GoTrax G3 Plus or the NIU KQi2 Pro? Both are around the same price right now
We would go with the NIU!
Why can’t anyone make a light weight dual motor scooter that has self sealing tires, regen braking, carbon frame, hydraulic brakes, fast charging and has full suspension
Hopefully soon!
Can you guys do a thorough review on the Roadrunner RS5 Max/Pro? That’s the one I’m really leaning towards as of now… being 6’1” and 255lbs I feel it would have decent performance and range for my casual use
Mitchell reviewed them.
Here you go! -Paul

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide thank you! I’ll check it out
I bought a Dualtron Popular 25mah model this summer. I am dying to see you guys compare it to its closest competition. I enjoy mine a lot. I think it can make the 2025 list!
Great comparison review!
Thank you so much! -Paul
-Paul
@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I sure hope the model you guys get is the Ultra, which is the latest model
Thoughts on KuKirin scooters? G3 Pro? G2 Master?
Unfortunately we haven’t tested that brand yet. -Paul
Thank you for the thoroughness!
I gotta be honest... though
This 2024 List is too complicated.
Thanks for that feedback!
I'd really like to know for safety reasons which scooter has the maximum suspension travel, surprise pot hole got me, no front end suspension ended in a alot of pain. I need my front end to get out of a hole, wheel size helps but suspension travel is as important.
I have a question about the range: Is the range if you ride it on top speed and top acceleration consistently?
-Paul
th-cam.com/video/XLxC2E6OILc/w-d-xo.html
Cheers! -Paul
The gx3 will blow your Socks off!
The gx3 is great! But I'd go with the panther due to 12 inch tubless tires. Off road beast
What's with the scooter FLJ K13?
12000W, 75mph, 80Ah
We haven't tested one of those because they seem to be import-it-yourself scooters, which can come with a whole list of complications. Whenever I think of FLJ I think of that famous FLJ electric scooter video where the scooter is shooting flames everywhere. You'll find it if you google "flj electric scooter on fire"
-Paul
Solar p1 pro is the USA version. It is a difference between USA and UK version?
Oh... I should really know this. But I don't. Let me see if I can find out. -Paul
I saw the good 2023 video. I was waiting for the 2024 version so thank you! I'm surprised to not see the "new" Inokim Quick 4 Super, somewhere in the list
We have not tested that scooter!
idk if it’s a big deal, but detachable batteries are a really cool feature that should be considered too
Hey, I just started to research scooters and have a question for you. We all know Iscooter here in the US. They have a dual motor model called the iX8 and there is zero information out there on it. The price seems really good for it's spec. Will you guys be reviewing it or have any information available on it? Thanks in advance.
No plans to review that brand!
( range and weight are important for me)
Thank you so much for this great video
Segway Max G2 is always a good option!
