I have 800 miles on the GT SE scooter from UScooter. Looks the same as this one. Looking like I would need to replace the front tire soon as it looks pretty bald. No issues overall, it starts to squeak periodically but a little dry lube and it’s like new again. The only things I don’t like about it are (1) the horn is too quiet - no one ever reacts to it, (2) hill climbing ability varies with battery level - 30% battery and max speed up a small hill will be 8-10mph, (3) when riding in puddles or after rain it throws water all up my pants and up my back so you need be going at MOST 10mph to avoid this - not sure where the water is being flung from as it has wheel covers, (4) develop a habit of always using the hand brake with the regen brake because if you only use regen brake your front wheel will lose tread very fast - learned that the hard way
@@nyyommm9640because the regen/e-brake only de-ccelerates the front wheel - instead of the back. The back wheel just free-rolls w the front wheel taking most of the brunt friction
I ride mine about 40 miles roughly 16 miles a week and the battery is still reading 100% are you having that issue. I contacted uscooter and they told me Ineed to ride it more. I live in queens it's cold so I don't ride at think time.
How are acceleration and regen braking for you? Does regen still kick in at high speeds? I heard earlier 2022 models had 0 regen until 16mph and under. Are you able to begin using regen above that speed? I also heard that the acceleration and regen levers are both poorly programmed, basically only capable of being on or off. Was this your experience, or do you find that can you ease into both of them? I’d really appreciate your thoughts. I’m seriously considering one of these to replace my recently stolen Hiboy s2 Pro, but there are so few owner experiences out there. If the rumors are true, they could be dealbreakers.

Why does the tread wear when only using regen brake?

I’ve had this scooter for about a month and I’m super happy with it. There are a few quirks but it’s overall an incredible scooter.

That was all resolved months ago and controllers all have updated software now. Mine is flawless and works up to max speed.
