- This is a Case Mini Trapper that I wanted to show everyone. It’s the nicest one I have seen. Also I show some leather that is up for grabs on my Instagram richter_knives

The mini trappers seem to be finished so well and of course they got the half stops!! That is definitely a special one, checks a lot of boxes. Just a beautiful specimen of a blade!!! Those slips are 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!

You're right about the scales in caramel, with coffee too. I have three mini trappers, but none with a wharncliffe. That is a beautiful example!

What an absolutely gorgeous knife. Those covers are ridiculous! Sawcut bone matched perpendicularly? What?! Mirror polished backspring?! I love me some carbon & patina just as much as the next guy, but on this knife I think that stainless actually looks better and matches the elegance of the knife. Reminds me of some of my Schatt & Morgans. Pure class. That's a real Gentleman's knife right there. That's a Sunday Church-Carry if I've ever seen one LOL. Great pickup, man!

Did you make the ghost leather with the wax? How durable is the wax? I like it. Great work. Beautiful charred coloring on that knife too.
I bought the leather and just made the slip out of it. When you rub the leather or scratch it, the wax wears off revealing the color underneath. The wax comes off moderately easily. It would patina NICELY. I still have the orange ghost leather slip available if your interested. Just shoot my DM’s on Instagram

Bothers me when the sawcut striations go in different directions. Coloring is really nice though. Doesn’t look like it got hurt while it stayed with your co-worker.
