There was a lot of people complaining about this run of knives but the ones I got were immaculate knives! Shows that case can still make some good knives

If Case could do them all this well, I wouldnt even bother with GEC personally. Why would yuh? Not when Case is cranking out perfectly good knives like this with honestly decent finishing. That said, I think I will need to see a few more recent knives from Case with finishing like this to fully agree to that. Also would love to see them go back to the tang stamp and stop with the laser etch.

Wow this has to be the best autumn bone I've seen from this 2024 batch so many people were upset about the black mushy swampy color they were getting and barely any orange I only got the razor and the show side was nice and the back side was the black swampy looked. Like two different knives regardless this Barlow is the perfect example this is what people wanted out of the autumn bone this is a gem you got for sure

Damn dude the color on that bone is ridiculous! Stunning covers!! Some of the best I've seen from Case! Nobody does jigged bone like Case! That almost has the texture of some stag or some worm groove bone, right? You can never go wrong with some Case Autumn bone...although LOL @ "Autumn Bone Deep Canyon Jig Barlow". I think they had room for some more words in that description!!! I personally would've gone with "Autumn Bone Deep Canyon Mountain Stream White Water Rafting Double Jigged Bone" 🤣🤣🤣. Oh, that's right...they stamped the rest of the extra words on the bolster lol!! Not sure how I feel about the stamped 'Carbon 1095' on the bolster...but not a deal breaker. That's sorta like writing 'Soda' on a can of generic cola from the supermarket....superfluous and kinda dumb, but whatever! Because that is one gorgeous freaking knife!! That reminds me of one of those red bone or brown bone Case Barlows from the 70s that you always see on ebay. C'mon, Richter!!....just buy the damn knife already!!! You know you want it!!! Just picked up a blue boned one today, fit and finish the same as the autumn but blades both came really rough (no big deal), and in SS, wish it was carbon.😂

I got the green brown wood crossroads last month and the pulls so tight its a nail breaker for sure and the etch stamp is gold looking because its so tight its eating the brass liner i need to figure out loosen the screws i could tell something wasnt right at the pivot screw one side is sunk in far and the opposite side is way out not flush at all i gotta fix it or get a new one sad i was very excited for it

It wouldn't surprise me if they quietly remove the Crossroads series after this year. I guess they were going for "modernized sod buster", but they're about 15 years too late. Nobody wants T6 hardware, especially for your pivot screw. 🤦 It's like they didn't focus test the product with modern knife collectors at all. It's not your Grandpa's Soddy anymore, but it's also not up to par with the current "modern" slip joints out there. It's like they were aiming to be mid. 🤷

It looks like a winner for Case in my opinion. Modern design and steel for the modern knife fans, yet also traditional. The price is very good also.

I’d rather see them tightening up QC on their traditional offerings than coming out with this take on modern knives.

I have 2 of the baby docs on pre-order and i like the cut out nail knick on the soddy but i will have to admit im dying for some larger patterns with a locking blade. So much of their catalog is small and you are 100% correct they are absolutely abysmal on listening to customer/fan feedback. Like man i would love to hear a response on some of the bigger issues the community has raised. Either they just dont give a crap or the social media team over there is completely tone deaf.

A half stop would definitely change my mind on a few of these blades... Still not much of a fan... 🙏✌️
