- Initial outdoor testing and troubleshooting of the 3DSets Volkswagen Buggy RWD RC Car. Includes testing on sand and grass. We initially break the steering and strip a screw out of the rear axle but they are easily remedied. We are testing the buggy with a 2s LIPO battery with a brushless C3530 outrunner motor from Surpass Hobby.

This is SOO cool! Was looking up the Sand Scorcher and this video poped up on google images.
build one!
Nice work and always nice to see the troubleshooting process too! Keep it up 👍
Epic build and test run!!!
super merci j'en ai réalisées deux buggy et le modèle cabriolet a+
Told ya about the steering arm😁, note also that from that link that I sent you there should two files for the servo arm, one that you used and another one with the same arm but with recesses for M3 nuts were the steering lever arms attach to the servo arm.
Yup I saw that. Nuts would definitely be better but I took a look and thought it would be ok without. Time will tell. :)
I hope you get it dialed in so they don’t have issues as much!!
Thank you for the nice vid and the real life trouble shooting. I noticed that the suspension is set up too hard! Can you look at it? Would make the drive much more pleasant and realistic.
Yeah the springs I'm using a bit are too stiff for this model. I'll replace them at some point.
Hey, if I ever finish Tarmo5, I'd like you to stress test it like this!
I'm in!
I like your videos! I subscribe 😁 keep it up bud
Thanks Vincent! I appreciate the kind words :)
bom dia
vc tem o stl anunciado em algum sait ? ou vc so vende ele pronto ?
So cool. I want to make one. But I wanted to start with the Ferrari. I bought it but cant find the suspension?
I'm not sure which Ferrari model you're referring to. Do you mean the free OpenRC one? That would go on the OpenRC f1 chassis.
hI SR, Where did you get the motor belt? I tryed on aliexpress, but no sucessed
Here you go! rcprinter.com/products/3dsets-buggy-belts-1
Have you tried the carbon fiber material yet? Or just all pla ?
I haven't tried carbon fiber yet but I've done a lot of PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, and I've played around with a few others. Mostly I use PLA just because its so easy to print and its generally what the designers recommend. Printing in better materials is definitely something that would take these projects to the next level but the cost goes up quickly and print quality goes down quickly but the technology is getting better quickly as well.
Mi piace tantissimo questa carrozzeria e questo modello... è il sogno da quando ero bambino ...ne voglio una ...vi prego mi fate un kit anche per me ???...bel video... ciao dall'Italia
After few troubles I just bought normal RC car with metal parts...
that's definitely going to be more reliable but I love the build as much as the drive :)
