After playing through that Reaper fight in Legendary Edition, it was so annoying that I just went Renegade in the following confrontation purely on principle.
I also want to add one more. When you're fighting your clone, and you end up having a choice to help or not. If you choose the Renegade option, she/he will make a reference to Airforce One movie. "Get off my ship." They will then kick clone Shepard off the ship.
Shepard: "I'm through saving you, if you keep attacking I will stand and watch while the geth lay you to waste. It's your call. Keela sali" Quarian: "all units hold fire" Shepard: :) I just can't get over that fucking grin.
I take it to mean that Shepard actually does care about the Quarians and needed the shock treatment of "I'm done saving you." even if even Renegade Shepard doesnt mean it.
I was doing my first playthrough as a paragon-with the exception of Legion's loyalty mission because I didn't agree with the paragon option-and that was the first renegade interrupt I took. He nearly got my squad killed, he's lucky I didn't space him.

There are only a few times I do Renegade options willingly and knowingly in ME3 on my Paragon, but I promise you that Kai Leng's moment isn't a Renegade moment. That's a Justice moment.
Javik’s line is even better. He’d been telling Shepard to do that to Legion and as soon as Shepard says that he just remarks “Finally!” He just wants to throw anything out the airlock 😂
I am Mr. Paragon in ME, so I rarely do the renegade interrupts, but I always find myself breaking Kai Leng’s sword & gut-punching Admiral Gerrel. I wasn’t aware of the shooting the reaper one last time option, I’ll be doing that one in my first playthrough of the remaster 😂
It wasn't until his ME2 video that I realized just how "Paragade" I was playing as. (4 out of 10, and probably a few he didn't mention.) If it wasn't for the far more strict requirements in ME1, I'm more than a little tempted to do a "Not a D!ck" Renagon run.
Yeah there are some wild ones in ME2! I like the one where Shepard shoots a fuel tank during a confrontation with a Krogan during Mordin's loyalty quest

A renegade line I really like is the "this is not a democracy" one that you can yell at James after leaving Earth. That's especially good with FemShep since she sounds really pissed off.
I can play the entire series as an pargon but you can bet on me always stabbing the crap out of kai leng i don't give an damn if it my only renegade moment through out the entire series
I think the last one is in character even for a paragon Shepard, as it's really just a blunt appeal to Han'Gerrel's military sensibilities. You could even read it as Shepard being at the end of their rope with him.
#3, blasting the Reaper again on Rannoch, was the whole reason I watched the video, to see if it made the list. That & telling the quarians to knock it off or the geth can have their ass are my favorite. What Shep says, when blasting the reaper, slightly changes with how you choose to respond, but I always liked when he ended it with something to the effect that it was time for the reapers, and the civilizations they had harvested, to rest in peace.
My reasons breaking Kai Lang's sword will always be the "Must Do" option for ME3: 1: Sweet vengeance for Thane. 2: The Renegade interupt sound is in sync with the action. 3: Omni blade makes an epic appearance, especially if your an Adept class. 4: the raw anger of Shepard is revealed in the most badass way. Dude killed our best friend, of course we are pissed to no end.
Renegade shepard FOREVER and I have to say that the Kai Leng sword part is my favourite only cause I romanced Thane. Gosh I waited the moment to kill him so much LOL that was the best feeling during ME3 XD
Pretty good list, but I think one missed opportunity was the scene from Leviathan where you keep pushing Ann Bryson to the edge to find Leviathan with repeated Renegade interrupts, stopping James from ending the connection. I would consider that legendary because it shows just how 'at all costs' a Renegade Shepard can be.
My Paragon Shepard did most of that, but he didn't kneecap Orianna, didn't punch the reporter, and he made peace between Geth and Quarians the paragon way.
one thing i would add to this is in mass effect 1 when shepard says "we dont have time for this idiot, charge". i think it helps that its a running gag in my family, even on paragon runs i still do it
1:10 If you're playing as a Shepard with biotics, this is the only time in the game where they will use the Omniblade. 4:50 The thing I find most funny about this moment is that the Paragon option is full of hope and the promise of a better tomorrow as Shepard tries to appeal to the Quarains' better naturr, while the Renegade option boils down to "stand down or I'll sit back and watch as the Beth kill all of you". It kind of ruins the moment when you realize that the path to peace in this case was achieved by Shepard pointing a gun at their heads.
On my most recent playthrough, I decided that by Sanctuary, my Paragon Shepard had zero fucks left to give (mostly because Miranda died in the Collector Base). I didn't kneecap Oriana, but I did shoot Henry Lawson when he let her go, broke Kai Leng's sword (which is what I do on every playthrough regardless of alignment) and repeated to Vigil that I'll. Stop. Them.
I didn’t even know that the shoot the reaper again ever existed, it should have been included after you talk to it and hear what it want to say , that way it’s more in character that he wouldn’t leave a reaper intact so it could indoctrinate any wanna be scientist
I always go paragon, but I always make a few exceptions, punching Garrell, killing Brooks, stabbing Kia Lang, and #1 I always punch that journalist in 2 and 3 😂😂
I always played as a neutral or Paragon character so I never got to see the Ill Stop Them Renegade moment I legit was laughing for about 10 seconds straight!
I was Renegade enough to get red scars and some red details start forming over Sherpard's eyes. But Paragon enough for the red to never fully take over the windows to my Sherpard's soul.
My fully paragon Shepard went hard renegade on the quarians. Idk. In my head they were just being stupid warmongers so puching that admiral's stomach is by far my favorite moment of the series.
I might add that those responses to destroy the Reapers need to be followed up with the, you guessed it, the Destroy option. A promise is a promise, even if it means sacrificing beloved computer intelligences. And as a common Paragon player, I always punch Adm. Gerrel and and break the SOB's sword as a show of "Beware the Nice Ones". Love that dodge by Khalisah. Getting familiar with past tension, huh?
If you are paragon in ME1+2, and only renegade in ME3, the reporter will not be ready for the punch. If you are renegade throughout the trilogy, she will duck the punch. Nice bit of detail.

Well it wasn't really him pointing the gun, it was him ripping the wool off of their eyes to reveal the massive death swarm they almost pissed off.

A number of renegade options in both ME2 and ME3 don't really feel like they should be renegade choices. Like how is it renegade to headbutt a krogen shit talking my boy Grunt? Or bust Kai Langs sword?

I'm thinking of doing my first Renegade playthrough when the remaster comes out, but even as Paragon Shepard, I always go Renegade when killing Kai Leng. FUCK HIM
