If you've played matchmaker with the Asari and the Krogan on Ilium prior to doing Grunt's loyalty mission, you'll also see them conversing on the Tachunka shuttle pad.
Especially considering the Krogan used to have a very rich understanding of art (forgotten cities on Tuchunka) and order. They seemed to want to get back to that kind of life after curing the genophage. I like to think that Charr would've been a major player when it comes to getting the Krogan race up to speed in their art department.

@@kinagrill No. They've clarified in-universe several times that zero genetic code from the father is used. Its simply a way to scramble the mothers DNA when producing offspring so that inbreeding doesn't occur. Thats why all Asari only look like Asari, no matter what their father was.

Another things that people might have missed as well: After Horizon if you visit Javik before visiting Tali on the lounge she will talk to Javik normally (not drunk). If you don't romance either Garrus or Tali they become a item together before Earth Mission. On Tali's loyalty mission , there's a recording that has a female Quarian saying goodbye to her son Jona. On ME3 on Koris's rescue mission you find a dying Quarian male asking you to say goodbye to his son Jona. On ME2 Citadel in the bar if you keep drinking from the turian bartender, you will drink Ryncol at some point (Krogan alcohool) and you will pass out and wake up in the man's restroom with a turian pissing xD If you bring James and Tali to Rescue Koris mission on ME3 and send James to fix the AA guns he will scratch his head and start kicking the panel while Tali looks straight at Shepard.
I did the one with James at ranoch, not knowing, I had to stop playing for the day because I couldn't stop laughing 😂 😂 😂 😂 every time I calmed down I thought of that scene again and bursted out laughing again
Jokers' sister story gets even crazier if you go to the spectre console you can fast track the Asari Commando getting her gun back. After that you can find out that the commando commits suicide with the gun. Suicide among veterans is extremely high as 20 veterans in America do it everyday; I am not sure if the game is making a comment on it or attempting to make the game realistic but I applaud the developers for at least mentioning the issue. As a veteran I believe we need more awareness and help for the people who have PTSD.
Pretty sure it has nothing to do with the US military specifically, if that's what you're saying. It's not commentary, it's just a reflection of reality.
That animation of Shepard waking up on Aria's couch is the same animation of Shepard waking up after you sleep with your LI, I find that very interesting
Speaking of hamsters in Baldur's Gate - Tali sometimes shouts to her drone "Go for the optics, Chatika!" which is a reference to "Go for the eyes, Boo!" from BG2. Also the name of the drone "Chatika vas Paus" is supposed to sound like "Chiktikka Fastpaws" from Baldur's Gate.
Also, during the mission to reclaim the Normandy, if you have the Space Hamster, and you talk about it long enough, Shep will tell him to go for the eyes.

Instead of it being "let my bones build a wall around your garden so you can grow safe and happy. She also married him referring to him as her husband when speaking with a customer at the shop were you find her. Mark Meer also voiced all of the hanar character that Shepard interacts with so when male Shepard is calling one a "big stupid jellyfish" he is really insulting himself.
I remember there being an elcor (I think it's Harrot from ME2) walking across in a cutscene from the Omega DLC in ME3 before he asks you to help finding Aria's couch
Might be a reach, but I’m pretty sure this is right. In ME1, Wrex will tell you a story about an Asari commando that he had an all out fight with that ended up destroying an entire space station. She ended up managing to escape, sending the phrase “better luck next time.” In ME2, when Shepard tries to get Aria to talk about her text, she’ll say the exact same phrase, with the exact same intonation Wrex used, hinting that she was actually the commando from his story.
When I realized that the Krogan poet was one of the dead bodies in the ME 3 Rachni mission I was kinda bummed. Even though the ending wasn't the greatest, the attention to detail throughout the series is amazing.
The Krogan Poet is different depending on ME2 choices. He talks about her needing space if they break up; but if they stayed together he talks about the flower they planted together: I'm wondering if they had a daughter? Her shop is called Blue Rose either way.
If they are together the message has "the flower we planted together". I would say she is pregnant with his daughter at the time, since ME3 takes place only a few months after the end of 2. But they never really made her character model appear as she was pregnant.

Which always made me curious about salarians. They dont live very long so it would be interesting to find out how fast their pregnancies are given their short life spans

In ME2, bring Jacob or Miranda with you when you start the Ish package mission on Omega. They have extra dialog that eludes to the pre ME2 comics. In ME3, when you finally get James to tell you what happens to his previous commanding officer, he literally explains the storyline of a pre ME3 animated feature where he was the central character.
Yea, Mark said in one interview that they used to record Shepard's voice first to keep him as fresh as possible and then move to all the needed alien voices in the end of the session. Each session took around 4 hours.
In ME2, after Joker unshackles EDI so she can save the Normandy from the Collector's, if you go talk to her in the cockpit afterwards, she'll be free to answer your questions about Cerburus. The one's that she was restricted from answering.

I actually knew 8 of these! I’ve played through the trilogy like 5 times lol To extend the jokers sister bit, you can authorize that asari woman to get a gun, at which point she will kill herself, decreasing the Citadel Defense Force asset due to lowered morale
When you get back to Dr. Brysons office for talking to Ann during the Leviathan DLC, you can talk to James a few times where he then asks if he's allowed to send the husk skull to the Normandy. If you do that, just go back to Shepard's cabin and activate the space hamster. Not really an Easter Egg, but pretty fun stuff.
the story of what happened to Joker's sister always make me think it's a reference to the TV series MASH. In the series finale the doctors are trying to get home on a bus with civilians at night trying to avoid a North Korean patrol but a baby one of the women are holding won't stop crying and Hawkeye keeps telling her to keep the child quiet finally ordering her to do it, after a moment the baby goes silent but the silence is an unnerving one, he turns around and sees out of fear the mother smothered her child killing it, afterwards Hawkeye slowly has a nervous breakdown and suffers BTSD from the experience.

With number 8, you can approve the asari commando's request for a gun. The problem is... when you read the Citadel Asset in the war room, you can see she uses it to kill herself. It's probably the darkest and saddest side story in the entire trilogy, imo.

These videos are much appreciated. Although I complete all quests in my playthroughs, there's so many details dependent on the timing of events, decisions made, and current squadmates, that I am still discovering new things! And from the looks of it, they put some outcomes in the game that you would be hard pressed to discover through normal means.
In ME2 there is also a Star Trek Reference: You get a green drink and Shepard says: "It's green." There is a Star Trek Episode where Scotty was trying to make an Alien drunk and he got a green Brandy and Scotty said "It smells green." It could also be a reference from the Next Generation where Scotty also got a green drink with a "It's green." quote.
Not only Star Trek, but Star Wars, in the Omega DLC, when you are fighting I think Cerberus troops, you hear one they say "Close the blast doors!" I clear reference to Return of the Jed, when the Super Star Destroyer bridge was token out by an out control Rebel fighter. Also Babylon 5 get a reference as well, in Bring Down the Sky DLC, in one of the listening post, you can pick a PDA that has a message about rock-n-roll station that states"...our best last hope for rock-n-roll..." a reference to Babylon 5 TAG line, "Our best, last hope for peace."
I find it odd, that you chose to show the version of Charr's poem that he writes when Ereba does not get back together with him. In the version where they got together he talks about the "flower they planted together" (meaning their child).
Holy the amount of detail they put into these things in this trilogy, just amazing. What makes them even better is the fact that many of these are things you either miss completely or might not understand fully when you see them unless you have really been paying attention. The fact that people are also telling even more secrets in the comments they found in the comments.
Jokes on you I already knew all these! Still good video though. Also, there is a fan comic that shows the final moments of Chars team. Really good. Mark Meer also voices the Hanar, a Volus (Niftu Cal) and Prazza on Freedoms progress.
I've played through this series more times than I can remember, and you still got me with a couple of these. Namely, 3, 4, 8, and 9. Also Tali's droid, Chatika, is another reference to Baldur's Gate.
I had no idea it was Joker's sister that asari in Huerta memorial hospital was talking about. Man now I feel so guilty for choosing the destroy ending every time. He really has no one after that
Regarding the Asari Commando with PTSD, there is another conversation you can overhear on the Presidium, that relates back to this. There are two nurses speaking to each other, a male and a female. The female nurse comments about how her Asari patient gets upset every time she sees her. At one point during the conversation she mentions how she "looks just like" the girl that was killed and makes the point that she should not be allowed to be with that patients, as her presence obviously upsets the Asari.

First time playing Mass Effect 3 I found the Asari commando with PTSD talking about Hillary. I always thought it was just a small example of wartime PTSD, and was fascinated by it. Never knew it was connected to Joker. My heart!
That bit with the Krogan Asari couple brought a tear to my eye. I’ll always remember those two and convincing her to stay and listening to their convo at the Tuchanka LZ.
You can also see an elcor walking in the Omega DLC in ME3. If you get Arias couch for Herot, you can see him walking in to afterlife as Shepard is leaving.
About the Krogan Poet, If you get the asari and the Krogan together they leave Ilium in ME2 and you can see the couple by the port in the entrance of Clan Urdnot Camp in Tuchanka. A small detail but makes a lot of difference in the worldbuilding. :)
In Mass Effect 3's Omega dlc, there's a moment where you're pushing through a crowd of civilians to get to one of the areas from ME 2's Omega hub, and one of the civilians running around in a panic is good 'ol Harrot
Ngl, when I found out about Char and Ereba in me3 I teared up a bit. I was kinda invested in those two. Also that thing about Jokers family was rough, all three games have amazing writing and interaction in them
You also see an elcor walking at the end of the "Omega" DLC. As you're leaving the station, there is a brief shot of the Omega bouncer resuming his station in front of the doors.
Mark Meer is also Blasto, the Hanar Spectre, so in the Citadel DLC, if you do Javik's excursion with a male Shepard, you get to hear a three-way conversation that's all Mark. Uranus being depleted doesn't actually mean much. All of the Sol System planets are depleted, which makes sense since they'd be the first place the humans had access to for resource mining, before discovering the Charon relay.
plus when i played ME2, krogan poet and asari ereba i saw on tuchanka after i solved their problem,I didn't notice it the first time I played it, but it was unexpected to see it.
I remember doing Illium before Tuchanka, you see Char and Ereba (the Blue Rose of Illium) on Tuchanka later on if you do it in that order, and they will be at Tuchanka's docking area, talking about seeing Char's homeworld.

At the end of the omega DLC if you let Aria take her revenge on the Cerberus general after strangling him for a time she will remark how he can't die yet then her eyes go black like asari do when they meld. It was disturbing on many levels.
You can also see an Elcor move in ME3 at the Embassies, that one that asks you to extract Elcor warriors from Dekuuna. It's not really walking, but still, it's moving.
In the Omega DLC, once Harrot shows up in Aria’s command bunker, you can see him walk over to his position just as the screen transitions from the previous area.

@@drogon223 They do indeed. In ME3 there's a side mission to get heating stabilisers or something for their egg clutches and if you find it and hand it to the guy, the person on the other end of the call wants to name one of the children from that clutch after Shepard

In ME2, bring Jacob or Miranda with you when you start the Ish package mission on Omega. They have extra dialog that eludes to the pre ME2 comics.
In ME3, when you finally get James to tell you what happens to his previous commanding officer, he literally explains the storyline of a pre ME3 animated feature where he was the central character.

Doing the voice for the vorcha hurt Mark meer's voice so much he had to not talk for a few days after recording the vorcha lines
Yea, Mark said in one interview that they used to record Shepard's voice first to keep him as fresh as possible and then move to all the needed alien voices in the end of the session. Each session took around 4 hours.

@@gotiboygk3574 Yes, she is a pureblood Asari. But not her parents. It follows from an interview with her "father" at the Presidium in ME3. Pureblood only applies to parents, as Liara says in ME1. If both of her parents are Asari, they call her pureblood. But her parents don't have to be pureblood.

To extend the jokers sister bit, you can authorize that asari woman to get a gun, at which point she will kill herself, decreasing the Citadel Defense Force asset due to lowered morale
When you get back to Dr. Brysons office for talking to Ann during the Leviathan DLC, you can talk to James a few times where he then asks if he's allowed to send the husk skull to the Normandy.
If you do that, just go back to Shepard's cabin and activate the space hamster.
Not really an Easter Egg, but pretty fun stuff.
the story of what happened to Joker's sister always make me think it's a reference to the TV series MASH. In the series finale the doctors are trying to get home on a bus with civilians at night trying to avoid a North Korean patrol but a baby one of the women are holding won't stop crying and Hawkeye keeps telling her to keep the child quiet finally ordering her to do it, after a moment the baby goes silent but the silence is an unnerving one, he turns around and sees out of fear the mother smothered her child killing it, afterwards Hawkeye slowly has a nervous breakdown and suffers BTSD from the experience.

@@0spidey1 It is good, it was on TV for close to 10 years or more and is a spin-off of a movie. The show is notable that it started as a comedy but the show slowly evolved into a pure drama over the seasons, some people liked that some didn't.
Its so good. It's by far my favorite show, I couldn't tell you how many times I've rewatched it. If you have Hulu you can binge watch it
Even once it turned toward more drama it was still a good laugh...the final episode though does pull at the heartstrings pretty hard.

whoa, I certainly remember the asari commando's story, but did not link it to Joker's sister. incredible. I love listening to npc dialogues on the various worlds
With number 8, you can approve the asari commando's request for a gun. The problem is... when you read the Citadel Asset in the war room, you can see she uses it to kill herself. It's probably the darkest and saddest side story in the entire trilogy, imo.
And a sad fact: PTSD is real. It leads to these outcomes.

These videos are much appreciated. Although I complete all quests in my playthroughs, there's so many details dependent on the timing of events, decisions made, and current squadmates, that I am still discovering new things! And from the looks of it, they put some outcomes in the game that you would be hard pressed to discover through normal means.
The look that Salarian gives when he sees Shepard drunk on the elevator.. Priceless.
In ME2 there is also a Star Trek Reference: You get a green drink and Shepard says: "It's green." There is a Star Trek Episode where Scotty was trying to make an Alien drunk and he got a green Brandy and Scotty said "It smells green." It could also be a reference from the Next Generation where Scotty also got a green drink with a "It's green." quote.
Not only Star Trek, but Star Wars, in the Omega DLC, when you are fighting I think Cerberus troops, you hear one they say "Close the blast doors!" I clear reference to Return of the Jed, when the Super Star Destroyer bridge was token out by an out control Rebel fighter. Also Babylon 5 get a reference as well, in Bring Down the Sky DLC, in one of the listening post, you can pick a PDA that has a message about rock-n-roll station that states"...our best last hope for rock-n-roll..." a reference to Babylon 5 TAG line, "Our best, last hope for peace."

In the version where they got together he talks about the "flower they planted together" (meaning their child).

Holy the amount of detail they put into these things in this trilogy, just amazing. What makes them even better is the fact that many of these are things you either miss completely or might not understand fully when you see them unless you have really been paying attention. The fact that people are also telling even more secrets in the comments they found in the comments.
I actually cried finding out that the Krogan Poet died. I really liked there interaction in Mass Effect 2

I had no idea it was Joker's sister that asari in Huerta memorial hospital was talking about. Man now I feel so guilty for choosing the destroy ending every time. He really has no one after that
Regarding the Asari Commando with PTSD, there is another conversation you can overhear on the Presidium, that relates back to this. There are two nurses speaking to each other, a male and a female. The female nurse comments about how her Asari patient gets upset every time she sees her. At one point during the conversation she mentions how she "looks just like" the girl that was killed and makes the point that she should not be allowed to be with that patients, as her presence obviously upsets the Asari.
There's another reference to Minsc and Boo.
Tali sometimes say "Go for the optics Tuchika! Go for the optics!" When deploying her Combat Drone power.
Anyone else enjoy the fact that Aria basically looks out for us when we're drunk and probably wouldn't have allowed anyone else that luxury? 😅

First time playing Mass Effect 3 I found the Asari commando with PTSD talking about Hillary. I always thought it was just a small example of wartime PTSD, and was fascinated by it. Never knew it was connected to Joker. My heart!

About the Krogan Poet, If you get the asari and the Krogan together they leave Ilium in ME2 and you can see the couple by the port in the entrance of Clan Urdnot Camp in Tuchanka. A small detail but makes a lot of difference in the worldbuilding. :)
In Mass Effect 3's Omega dlc, there's a moment where you're pushing through a crowd of civilians to get to one of the areas from ME 2's Omega hub, and one of the civilians running around in a panic is good 'ol Harrot

Mark Meer is also Blasto, the Hanar Spectre, so in the Citadel DLC, if you do Javik's excursion with a male Shepard, you get to hear a three-way conversation that's all Mark.
Uranus being depleted doesn't actually mean much. All of the Sol System planets are depleted, which makes sense since they'd be the first place the humans had access to for resource mining, before discovering the Charon relay.

plus when i played ME2, krogan poet and asari ereba i saw on tuchanka after i solved their problem,I didn't notice it the first time I played it, but it was unexpected to see it.
I remember doing Illium before Tuchanka, you see Char and Ereba (the Blue Rose of Illium) on Tuchanka later on if you do it in that order, and they will be at Tuchanka's docking area, talking about seeing Char's homeworld.

At the end of the omega DLC if you let Aria take her revenge on the Cerberus general after strangling him for a time she will remark how he can't die yet then her eyes go black like asari do when they meld. It was disturbing on many levels.
You can also see an Elcor move in ME3 at the Embassies, that one that asks you to extract Elcor warriors from Dekuuna. It's not really walking, but still, it's moving.
In the Omega DLC, once Harrot shows up in Aria’s command bunker, you can see him walk over to his position just as the screen transitions from the previous area.
I've seen a lot in this game, but I never knew about probing Uranus. Good stuff.
