This is a great bike! I’ve had my 2002 since it was new. 👍 Just be sure to bypass the MMM starter relay because it will fail and cause hard starting. Also be sure to check the charging system on a regular basis. It’s known to be weak and a stater and regulator replacement is common. I’ve drilled out the ends of my pipes to get a better sound. Worked great!
I have a 2000 VZ800, This bike came to me in a bit of a mess, not running well with many issues,,,it did have K&Ns front and rear, I tuned, rejetted, valve adj and many things and now this bike screams, it does 80mph easy with no shaking,,,,Its a great bike People talk about the popping and backfiring upon deceleration, and issues with the pair valve, when I did the valve adj it all went away, all the valves in this bike were off. If I could say 3 things to do to it, rejet properly, check the valves, and measure and set the carb floats to manual specs
I know what Harleys sound like. I don't expect the Suzuki to sound like a Harley , but I would expect to hear something coming from that (nice looking) exposed engine..
2thePtBassTuT Of course it´s quiet.... it´s only equiped with the stock exhaust, had it been modded with a raask or cobra exhaust then it would be a different story entirely, do this and its pretty darn close to a HD sound wise.
I'm not sure I would like those handlbars. They sure keep your elbows out and high. Don't see how that would be comfortable over long distances. I think I'd prefer the "buckhorn" style bars like on the older Honda Shadow.
This bike is god-awful loud with a set of Cobra pipes... it is obscene how it is..the Harleys are loud with aftermarket pipes but they are deeper and more lumpy... this is a loud barking snapping screamer if you put cobras on it... I didn't care so much before other than the evil looks... but now with noise laws in place.. this eardrum piercing screamer is rarely used until I find some pipes more civil stock pipes suck anus.. but cobras are obscenely loud... and it is even worse since the baffels on mine can't be changed
I'm so sick people comparing other bikes to Harley Davidsons. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Why not compare a B John Deere to a BMW? Because the technology is so far advanced in one and the other is old school, old technology.
I got myself a Suzuki Marauder VZ 800...And I just got my license..Love riding this bike..

Thanks for the advice
My first bike after passing was the GZ125, now I actually have the money I can't wait to get one of these.
In my opinion: One of the best looking cruisers 🇩🇰
I have a 2001 model now. Runs great.
Got one exactly like this.Good bike!
Beautiful custom bike!
Haha those cows😂😂😂😂
видео супер👍всё доходчиво, просто и понятно
Funny ... you talk about the sound not being very good (compared to Harleys and/or other cruisers) , but you fail to let us hear how this sounds...
As a marauder owner i can say that the sound lacks of the original harley

34979Charlie Yeah the cobra exhaust makes a HUGE difference. It can easily be mistaken for a Harley to the untrained ear.
had that cow!

@@dodgeramsport01John Deere are also available
Really? Which one is old school?
@richardrichard5409 yeah, over priced and doesn't do anything that any other make doesn't do!
