Those C90's are definitely some rad bikes. I would love to build a chopper out of one. With that super low gas tank it opens up a plethora of creative ideas. Throw in the fuel injection to boot, that in itself allows for any possible pipe combo one can conjure up. No carb to jet the computer will do it for you. I dig it
I love my 06 C90. Decent power and very good torque. It will go over a mountain with a load on it and not break a sweat. The only thing I don't like is that the fuel tank is only 3 gallons.
I traded in my 2005 for a 2017. Nice bikes for the money. Same model but totally different machines as far as handling and stopping power. Truthfully, the 2005 was better in a lot of ways. But as you said the batteries were always being changed out. I think it was a stator issue. That issue has been fixed on newer models. Also, the gas tank is no longer under the seat. Which changes the center of gravity. Though the newer models have a larger fuel capacity. The newer models also have a higher ground clearance. Less scraping of the floor boards. The one thing that really ticks me off though. Is that they changed to single disc in the front. So stopping is quite a bit harder. Still a great bike though no matter how you look at it. Bang for the buck.
My stator in the 2004 model (carburated) desintegrated. I replaced by a modern one from a Dutch company and has done wonders for around 120 dollars, best money spent on those bikes.

You don't tune a stock bike, but if you start adding modifications that change airflow (like cams, high flow air filter, exhaust) then you have to use a fuel controller to adjust the fuel delivery; as the stock computer won't adjust enough. The backfires mean the bike is running a little too lean.
It depends on how big you are. It's not a beginner bike. Unless you are a very big person. That would make the bike feel smaller and lighter. I wouldn't recommend trying to learn on it. Or pass the licensing part of it.

I'm curious how much wiggle room there might be. Any tips for rolling in there and getting the best deal possible? I'll be paying cash, not financing it if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Just punch in the VIN or vehicles info and it spits out the fair market value.
@@RossMalagarie Thanks. Looks like the market value is a thousand dollars more than they're asking, but I'm still going to try to talk them down a bit.
@@daveco1270 I always email an offer $1,500 less than asking price out the door with shipping and all taxes and feed. Then after they say no I offer $1k less, then $500 less. Of course I tell them I'm pre-approved by my credit union and going to buy when the numbers are right.
Ross Malagarie thanks. good advice. I’m planning on paying cash rather than financing the bike.
when you back off the throttle, the blurp blurp blurp should not be there in the stock exhause....it is either a custom exhaust or there is a whole/leak somewhere in the exhaust and custom/leak with the exhaust could be the reason the FI light is on while riding....
There's pipes on it
Hav a 2000 vl1500 lc this bikes big heavy an badass looking an no issues mechanically
I've always liked the C90, and I've been afraid of them. They have that starting problem, that can leave you stranded. If somebody's found a fix for it I'd be all over one. So does anybody know if they found a fix yet?
Jim Bennett yes they do. Tighten up the cable on the decompression solenoid. There are a few videos that show it. Worked great on my bike with 100k plus miles.
@@Jasperhemighty cool, thanks. I may have to take a look at that. I didn't consider it too seriously because I close up a bar in the middle of nowhere every night after everybody's gone. It would be a real pain if it didn't start. LOL
Check the decomp cable and there's a wiring mod that improves voltage and stability of the electrical system. Take care of those and you've got a first-rate reliable cruiser.
@@channell11 I may have to pick one up.
I picked up a C50 to flip a couple of years ago and liked that thing so much that I didn't even list it for a year. I was on the Volusia forum and that's when I decided I couldn't risk the C90, but if they have it sorted out, I would love to have one. Thanks
Also clutch lever switch wears out.
Love this video 💯 what's a best cc for beginners wanting a cruiser??
250 then 800 then liter and over.
I have the exact bike. Love it! Smooth and effortless handling. Ephrata biker breakfast every first Sunday. Hope to see you there! 💪👍
Im a new rider and am ecstatic about my my m50. Thanks beards and bikes
Where is the clipboard on the grass?
The only thing I liked about my M109R2 more than the C90 is the radiator , If the C90 had the radiator I would probably get one. The Honda VTX 1800 is what I ended up going back to. I have never seen anything else that is more reliable.
2013+ c90 have radiator
That's an amazing weight I've had issues with 460lb nakeds in the wind but I bet this will fly through wind without much drift
I know this is kinda a late comment but I drive a 650 v star and it cruises comfortably at around 70 but still kind of feels like I’m pushing it I’m looking at trying to get one of these but my main concern is am I gonna feel like I’m pushing it trying to cruise at 80 ?
love the Bible reference! I love my C90. I've had it for 9 years and it's the bomb.
Absolutely awesome 💙💙👍👍
Have you ever ridden a ctx 1300 from Honda? I'm looking to get out of a sport bike and into a cruiser so the wife can ride with me.
Why haven't you done a test ride of the C109R ?
I say a prayer before every ride. You never know when you will meet your maker when on a bike at highway speeds.
Full frame bike? Good to know and 100% more spot light. I'm sold. 🤣
I have the same bike with the same pipes. Pipes doesn't cause the F1 light. Also the T is the tour model and the windshield and passenger back rest is missing on this bike
I'm 6'3" and can only get 6.30s 0-60, Tuned! but I weight 265lbs too though. Love my bike though, so comfy!
In the market for a new bike hoping to check you guys out this weekend
glad i happened upon this vid, thank you for making it.
this may sound weird but i just traded in my c50 boulevard for a 2002 indian super chief... and i have to say i enjoyed riding my susuki more.... go figure.
sometimes a person's body just fits a particular build of a bike.... .kinda like what you were saying in this vid. def a good all around bike...i called it my goldilocks bike as it was "just right". not too little, not too big.
mu+y '05 c90t has a cobra exhaust and I dont have any dash lights on
If I am 5"8 and 200 lbs is this bike going to be too big for me?
As a Cherokee American, and combat veteran, I was raised by my NDN grandparents and they brought me to NOT BE CHRISTIAN. It's a long story, but the takeaway is I have nothing against today's Christians. So, your choice to do Bible verses doesn't bother me at all.
I really like your bike reviews.
They're straightforward and to the point. Just my style.
As a note; I've been riding for over 50 years. Really.
I've gotta 2006 Honda Shadow Aero VTC 750 that I've had for 14 years.
Now, I'm ready for a BIKE FOR ME.
Those are the same as the suzuki intruder 1500 i have one and its a nice bike
Shaun, I think you got a bad ground on that Neutral light. Looked like it was flickering a touch. Otherwise... sexy bike! God bless, stay safe!
Really awesome bike!! Only the Wheels have to be spokes..
Nah mags rule
I like those boots, what kind are they?
where are you guys located??
If you had to choose! Suzuki c90t or Honda Vtx 1300???
What cost the. Bike lex kantoor Amsterdam holland
Can't touch used bikes for less than $4k in Oklahoma. Probably have to buy a new one.
I paid 2800 for my speedmaster. Best bike I have ever owned.
I owned a 2007 Speedmaster, me too, best bike I have ever owned.
Im looking forward to the day i put a backpack on hop on a cruiser and take off on a long trip
How do i get this bike
the FI light on while riding is a 'warning'...the FI light should not be on if there is nothing wrong with the FI...it is a dummy light. The light being on does not mean it is FI...
-Noted. Curious about the few backfires at shift, as well, if FI, not normal. Possibly tune?
@@Blogengezer nothing to really tune on an EFI bike..spark plugs should be good to 50,000+ miles and if FI is functional, shouldnt need recalibrated or remapped...
If these guys were closer, I would buy the C90...any savings are lost for a fly and ride...
You don't tune a stock bike, but if you start adding modifications that change airflow (like cams, high flow air filter, exhaust) then you have to use a fuel controller to adjust the fuel delivery; as the stock computer won't adjust enough. The backfires mean the bike is running a little too lean.
What brand are your boots?! Would love to get my husband a pair!
Love your videos!
This is the bike I need to get. How is it for a first bike?
It depends on how big you are. It's not a beginner bike. Unless you are a very big person. That would make the bike feel smaller and lighter. I wouldn't recommend trying to learn on it. Or pass the licensing part of it.
That bike is about 10k for a used 2006 around here.. how do you get it for under 4k
Is it a 6-speed or a 5
5 speed.
Is that bike liquid cooled?
Oil cooled using GSXR tech!
Yes liquid cooled fueled injected and shaft driven all 3 are great!
I love the Bible wisdom - something the modern world is truly lacking.
Very true
Yup, like
1 Timothy 2:11 - 15

It has impressed me.

That's the exact bike I got based on the reviews here
Idk how expensive bikes usually are where y'all are located but I got a mint condition Honda Shadow 1100 for $1900
ThatRealCoolWhiteGuy Wow that's pretty cheap. Private sale I'm guessing or an older bike
@@ryanbruneau1197 it's a 2002 but I mean bikes in general around here aren't that expensive. I live in Virginia. There were a couple 2008 shadows with 10k miles and they were like $2500
How much for a new one ?
Wow, those are 13k or more OTD new. Why do they lose so much value?
-Reading about the changing demographic, [young generation not into motorcycles] affecting motorcycling in general, the cruisers are not in demand as previously, when countless numbers were sold, swamping the market. Makes it good for those interested today. Also noting the Adventure touring fad now in play.
I think Suzuki’s in general don’t hold there value as good as out bikes.
One like that was around 11K new, and they're 10-15 years old now, and based on a design that dates back to the 90's. They also depreciate faster than a comparable Harley.
Had one. Small gastank. Speed wobble at higher speeds. The seat was too big. Performance was good though.
Love the videos cant wait to get my bike license keep up the good work
hello like the all of your content
do you ship bikes, like in europe
Was hoping it’d be another VTX 1800 video
Don.t you just love his stops at the sign most riders do this but becareful double check both ways.
What make is this bike
It's a Suzuki
Why is the F1 light on?
Pipes
As a big boy looking for a big bike Spend the MONEY get a used Honda VTX 1800, Kawaski Nomad, or a Triump Rock III if your not looking the HD/Indian/Victory.
There is a reason the market didn't go for that bike. I almost never see a Suckuki cruiser (Street, Adv, Dirt okay go for it), but the the C50 and 90. Honda, VStar, Kawaski all better options after market support and when you need service you can find a tech.
Great advice/ review from someone who knows his labor
God bless 🙏👍💙
I own one and they are great bikes .
Viu não consegui escutar nem por um segundo a motocicleta ,porra mano dá um tempo na conversa e deixa a máquina falar por ela
It's a review channel, so of course he's going to be talking pretty much the whole time. If you want to know what it sounds like, I'll tell you. It sounds like most every other motorcycle. Happy now???
