- A 75-year-old diabetic patient's low blood sugar levels and irregular heart beat causes concern for paramedics who believe she needs urgent medical attention. Elsewhere, paramedics are worried an elderly man has suffered a small stroke and he reports pain in his shoulder. A man suffers an awkward fall. Fearing he has broken a bone, paramedics take the patient to hospital.
For the very first time, an ambulance has been rigged with cameras that provide a unique perspective on what it's like to respond to emergency calls. 'Inside The Ambulance' follows paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service in England as they take us right into the heart of the action. We see heroism at work in the actions of these first responders. We also enter the lives of people in crisis and learn their unique stories.

Poor Jefferson, having to go back to the hospital after such an ordeal. Saying "you've got to calm down" never helped anyone calm down.
The fella that laid out on the floor reminded me when I had gallstones. His symptoms sounded like mine. I felt better stretched out on the floor. Glad to have gotten my gall bladder removed.❤
I have so much RESPECT for all the first respondere, staff on hospital, and coast guards...
They are heroes and got a very stressful work...
Bless Josie and Dott. What a beautiful friendship to have at that age.
I think I'm addicted to this show!!! Love and good vibes from Florida 💙
Same here, I’ve learned alot of things from this show like how to take care of patient during an emergency and if a patient is a bit anxcious
Im in constant pain from arthritis..wish the gas & air was available here in the US. Would love to try it and have a few minutes without pain 😢
Oh yes
I love this series, it's truly a great show ❤
I just love Baron! I probably couldn't take his prancing either, but it'd be cool to try. Maybe Abby would enjoy him if she ever gets any spare time!
Anybody who doesn’t love olives is challenged. They have the best taste in the world.
Keep us updated on Hannah and Aaron's relationship 😉
I love this show from Florida!
With the first patient with stomach pain I would kind of be worried about that kid with a bad cough in the background
Why tho? What's the connection between the kid’s cough and his pain?
Another sick kid in the house @@Rahul.Saini80

What is with the HUGE needles in the NHS. They look so big. I’m American and the needles have always been very small. Can hardly feel them going in. Anyone know please reply.
Depends on what gage they need for what meds they need to put through . And smaller gage is used because tiny veins or rolling veins !
Tylenol is worse for ur liver than any over counter drug don't you know????
(It's not)
You may be thinking about ibuprofen which is worse for the liver, tylenol is safer otc option comparatively.
Ibuprofen is processed through your kidneys, not your liver. @@Sunshine-lg8we
Oh,goody I take ibuprofen almost exclusively
@@marisanielsen3770 I know its bad for your stomach too, but it works so well!
Do you show the dark aspects of the job?
I can promise you I would have already taken acetaminophen if I'm writhing in pain on the floor I'm not calling an ambulance so I can get more Tylenol
@cynthiatolman326 - the last time I passed a kidney stone, Ibuprophen tablets gave me more pain relief than all the heavy duty addictive pain medications!
Healthcare is free in most European countries. Meds used in hospital or ambulance are also no charge.
If you could think clearly Dear which I know from my own experience is not always possible.
Its Europa and not the U.S
Not our fault that our Healthcare its 1000 times better than yours..
Thank your greedy politicians 😂
At least you wouldn't be charged for it.
You must be American, because I'll wrap my own bleeding stump and hope for the best before I'd ever call for an ambulance. Our healthcare system is absolutely wack.
Wow, had no idea houses on inside are so cramped over there. Lookes like halls and door ways are so small. Dont know how services can get patient out to ambulance.
Well, lots of people, relatively little ground space because of the size of the country.
Wait til you see flats and houses build in dutch towns or cities 😅 I have Dutch relatives and especially the kitchens and bathrooms are teeeeny tiny, nevermind the stairwells.
But at least the German and Durch emergency services have equiments that adresses those problems 😉
I love their homes so cute
Them and their use of paracetamol. There just as bad as the USA, about giving adequate pain relief!! The guy with the hurt knee needed something more than that.
What is this lovely city?
It's not a city, it is a region, called the Black Country. It includes several towns, some of which are disputed by the locals, but the castle is at Dudley. Home to a zoo in the grounds.
There are several hospitals in the show, New Cross in Wolverhampton, Walsall Manor, Walsall and Russells Hall in Dudley. They also go to Birmingham sometimes for specialist cases. Birmingham is Not in the Black Country, even though it is only a few miles away. There is quite a rivalry between the people of the 2, mostly (?) friendly. Birmingham people call Black Country people Yam yams and Black Country people call them Brummies.
@@hogwashmcturnip8930 -Thanks. So I guess this is in England. :)
@@monellenymaybie those ambulances look like England aka united kingdom
I have every day a hypo (low bloodsugar) areound 2... even with the newest medtronic 780g and guardian 4 sensor. I wish I had once a year a hypo😭
That’s poorly managed health and eating habits, not something medically wrong
