@@wizardinfinite1491 A lot of practice but I think my natural driving style fits this strategy and rain races. Also, the C7 is a bit understeery, which helps.
This is not only on Road America. This problem is on all tracks. FM7 do not have any strategy. The game has broken tires "hard". If the race is short and there is an opportunity to fill up with fuel completely and drive without pit stops, then this will always be a winning tactic. If the race is long and a pit stop is needed, then you should always choose "hard" and one pit stop. And no player of your level will ever play that amount of time with two pit stops on soft and medium, no matter how fast he is.
@@NoobMasterGamer2759 yes, this strategy works at several places. There are some tracks where the hards will not last long enough and a different strategy is preferred. But I get what you are saying, this does seem to be the dominant strategy and needs to be balanced out somehow. A lot of times, I run mediums knowing I'm going to lose to no stoppers. Gets old running hards all the time.
@@XboxWanKenobi Same situation. Sometimes I use an alternative strategy just for fun. Because there is no point in doing the same thing over and over. It would be great if they introduced changing conditions into the game. For example, at some point in the heat, the tires would wear out faster, etc. Actually, not so long ago, there was something like this in the game. I don't know where it is now. At some point, it could start raining and everyone would go to change tires, some would take risks and go an extra lap on medium, and some until the end of the race. I even have a video on the channel where I am the only one driving on medium in the rain against everyone on wet tires. There were different situations.
@@NoobMasterGamer2759 I have experienced that too but not recently. They may have delayed it this rotation to let people get used to the changes. Not sure. Tire strategy is going to be tough to balance without really long races IMO. Hopefully they will find a way.
@@XboxWanKenobi They can do easy things tomorrow. They have different degrees of rubber degradation - 15 options. But they always use ONLY ONE for all types of tires per race and it has the same mathematical progression. All you need to do is start using different degradation options for different types of rubber. For example, on Road America, you need to set degradation for soft x4.5, for medium x6.0, for hard x5.0. This will lead to different results. Players will face a mathematical problem for choosing tactics and will not be able to solve it in a few races. You will have to experiment.
