  • This heart opening vinyasa flow is centred around expanding + open up the heart space, using our breath and energising movement to cultivate + embody self love. The heart chakra is the 4th chakra in the energetic system, associated with qualities like gratitude, love, passion, freedom, compassion, integration, connection to self and others and self love.     I cant believe i finish this exercise and did almost all the moves. In the end pose when you sit and touch your heart, it makes me tearyeyed a little because my body is actually capable. Thank you for this yoga practice :)

    Thank you thank you thank you! I was behind with my self practice for some time and this class was the perfect fit into this weeks theme to ground and connect to the heart center.     Hey Tana! I love these chakra flows 👌 I also wanted to ask - how does your love of yoga prevail over dance - clearly they enhance each other for sure, but what is it about yoga that made you choose yoga teaching and practice over a career in dance 😊

    I really really love this practice, but I think there should be more stretching for the wrists at the beginning, or you could feel pain, like I'm doing now :)

    had some supporting knee discomfort during tiger at 7:50. do u recommend padding the knee or another mod?

      Hey Pia, if you have any pre- existing knee injuries I recommend avoiding this specfiic pose / any weight bearing directly on the knee if it feels painful in any way - there should never be a sharp pain at any point during the practice but mild discomfort is just an indiction to try soemthing different or skip that posture. You can also try doubling your mat or using a blanket to place underneath your knees. Let me know how you go :) xx

    Although I enjoyed this flow, some of your cues were off and very confusing. It was hard to follow along just listening and not watching. I frequently found myself looking at the video to see what you were doing. Maybe try more precise cues like which edge of the foot to roll onto and use better directional cues.leg “behind” is confusing on the kickstand bc behind my body would mean off the mat. I also found myself not sure where my arms and hands should be throughout
