I'm glad they had a way to make playing as the male eivor blend in. I've always prefer the male one due to having a better voice that even works better in the dramatics.
Was anyone else happy to see the blue sky again because this takes place after Layla's sacrifice? The sky is blue again!!!
They should fire whoever designed the outfits in this game. That rainbow feather cloak looks absolutely dreadful.

Its for the 12 years old and under crowd because Assassin's Creed are all rated Mature 17+, which in keeping with the Grand Theft Auto Mature Rating series means they are likely being played by 7 year olds, unsupervised, and they think the gaudy feathers are cool and cute like the beautiful colours of the kid rated Nintendo games. 🤣
I love how this game treats Christianity and even Islam with fairness and respect, showing all sides instead of just fundamentalism and bigotry. Usually modern religions are depicted so poorly in media, Valhalla is a refreshing change of pace
Assassins are traditionally atheists if you are talking about Basim and Hytham. 😕Basim said he didn't drink, but he gave no reason for it, and considering he has an awareness of his true being, he likely does not believe in God, or Gods.
My Theories:
I think Basim genuinely wants to help the Modern Assassins reform and return back to its roots, back to the Creed. He even allowed William Miles to look into his memories by giving him a genetic sample of his blood. The Assassins will look through Basim's memories (AC Mirage) to learn about Basim, his past, and his Isu past (a weird job interview for Basim). Basim will help the Modern Assassins while William Miles will help him find his children in the various Isu simulations and programs in later to be shown Isu Temples and computer systems.
What most interested me is how King Alfred tried to recruit Eivor to the Templar Order. He somewhat wishes Eivor to be a Master Templar of the British Rite but accepts Eivor's decision to leave England and go through a self-understanding journey. It is likely Guthrum (Aethelstan) joined the Templar Order as his Christian cross was red with gold linings.
I think Eivor actually managed to unite all the surviving Isu Norse Sages: Eivor (Odin), Sigurd (Tyr), Harald Finhair (Freyr), Halfdan Ragnarsson (Thor), Faravid (Sif), and Gull (Idun). This can be noticed when Eivor, Tyr, and Harald touched their Isu neck scars to acknowledge their Reborn Isu status and an understanding of why Eivor leaves for Vinland.
I think Roshan is trying to meet up with Hytham to talk about the Hidden Ones' plans for Jerusalem and the Holy Land. She thought helping the Raven Clan is a good way to earn the clan's trust. Honestly, the mission should've started at the Hidden One base in Ravensthorpe where Roshan meets Hytham who introduces her to Eivor. Roshan talks about Basim to Eivor and so on without giving too much away for the events of AC Mirage.
Also, I believe Juno is alive and she just copied her consciousness to the Juno body that was killed by Charlotte De La Cruz during the AC Uprising event.
I think the Hidden Ones and Templars were actually close allies. The Hidden Ones were later involved in defeating the Order of the Ancients who were affiliated with King Harald Bluetooth and Styrbjörn the Strong during the Late Viking Age in the 10th century. However, times of disagreements, corruption, and problems caused the Hidden Ones and Templars to fight each other some years before the start of the First Crusade.
What should be understood is that the Assassins and Templars didn't know about the Isu until the Renaissance Age. However, we learn more about the Isu through non-Assassins (Kassandra and Eivor) who learn about the Isu in more detail since Ancient History and the Early Medieval Ages are when the Isu still had a strong presence in the world until it diminished as time goes on.
The Isu was practically an advanced race so the real version is that the Isu is technically a utopian/dystopian futuristic society.
What is interesting is that the Hidden Ones never cared about Freedom or the Isu. They cared about peace. That's all. The Assassins became dogmatic in their goals and it got worse in the 20th Century when the Assassins tolerated the indirect killing of innocents. It was safe for Kassandra and Eivor not to tell the Hidden Ones about the Isu to prevent them from being obsessed as they were.
That’s a pretty good theory, tbh I thought basim was giving them his memories cause he knew they either couldn’t handle it or by the time they know what’s going on his plan or scheme would be completed
@@Wilderset44569 I don't think that is the case considering how advanced the Animus has become. The modern Animus is so advanced that one can travel through the memories without risk of death.

@@Wilderset44569 I meant the Animus tech is improved to handle situations like this. The memory records of Sages helped this. That is how Layla managed to handle Eivor’s Sage situation without problem.
Wow, really good theories, they make much sense. We will have to see about Basim, maybe it can be a trap by Assassins, we will see.
at 5:48 Eivor technically gets an invitation to join the Templar Order. Eivor couldve joined either the Assassins or the Templars or have connections to both but chose to find and understand herself first
Anyone else taken out of the story by how clownish the Eivor “future armor” is in these cutscenes? I’m surprised rainbows weren’t shooting out of his/her ass while he/she spoke.

I’m glad it’s not just me! I was so peeved to have such ugly armor the entire time rather than the vanilla Raven clan armor. Especially since I never played Ragnarok. They should have just done it in engine and had it be whatever the player is wearing.
Most important takes:
Basim is Basim. He himself admits it and seems like their Memories struggle was fast, probably cause Trauma was so similiar to Loki. Thus another hint that Djinn in Basim memories wont be Loki but Odin or Balder perhaps?
Basim doesnt hide about his goals. Straight up admits to William and give him blood.
Basim seems still care about Creed somewhat (ashamed look when Hytham said about family. Remembered About Fenrir or Admited to himself Assassin's were his family too?)
Also these 29 days are definitely hint for Gameplay and Date reveal for mirage.
After it's still a bit unclear. Maybe he regained his faith in the Creed by mentoring hytham.
This should have been the ending of the main game. I like it, but i know i would've like more if this was the ending when the game released

These days I’ve been appreciating the plot where Basim ends up in modern world. It actually kinda gives the chance for modern people to learn about the old creed, abilities from an actual assassin during those times, and an ISU that can actually use/understand modern technology to help modern assassins.
I agree. Learning from memories is one thing, but having an ACTUAL Assassin from those days is another

The final scene should have had the memory of Eivor speaking with Odin, but when Odin says that it will take time to explain the solar flare the scene would suddenly cut over to Basim with a hand on his shoulder. He turns and there's Eivor in modern clothing, with Odin speaking through him/her: "No problem. Time is all we have left, old friend."
The fact that Ubisoft had Kassandra live for roughly 2500 years, but didn't have Eivor somehow find a way to become immortal with the aid of Odin in his/her head is ridiculous. The god of war, the All-Father, the wand bearer; surely, Odin would have had another trick up his sleeve to sustain the body that his memory/soul would have awakened into. The fact that he came to accept Eivor makes it even more ridiculous that he would let him/her die and himself be more than likely lost after what he went through to allow himself and his people to survive the fall of the Isu.
For shame Ubisoft.
Thank you for uploading this. I quite enjoyed Valhalla back when it came out but after finishing it and first two dlc I was tired and didnt really have a desire to come back to it. Now with Mirage so close I wanted to see the conclusion that links to it somewhat and watching this video helped with that :)

So couple takeaways
-For Hythams discussion it was a shame to not see Eivor embrace the brotherhood but oh well atleast she (canon she) respects them
-For Haralds discussion I’m abit disappointed we don’t see Iceland given it feels we’ve seen everything else in the region of north west Europe. Knowing Sigurd probably leads that is nice though
-For Guthrums discussion I was pleased that the game showed Aelfred got to Guthrum and that he ultimately believes in god
-For Aelfreds I was ecstatic that they seem A) on good terms B) it shows Aelfred ultimately wins the war in rejoining England united and C) He builds the Templar order

Basim was to establish a bureau in Ravensthorpe but it more Hytham who actually did this, as Basim then took off with Sigurd. Hytham slowed by his injury, collaborates with Eivor to find all the forgotten Hidden One former locations (from Roman Empire times) and to also look out for former members. The Magus Codex pages found in the abandoned Assassin Bureaus explain what lead to the falling of the brotherhood in England when the Roman Empire falls. Hytham then sets out to restore the Bureaus and trains new Hidden Ones (which is what we saw the start of in the end scene). 👍

If they put new game plus so I could replay whole game with female eivor it would have been better but they lead on players to play with male eivor while in the end the choice didn't matter. Yeah AC Valhalla it was a really good game But anymore to me it’s a big disappointment because no new game plus and the reason why it affected me really bad is because I spent countless hours playing it leveling up just to play it all over again with my character and other people feel the exact same way I’ve seen the comments on other videos

The cloak on the set is honestly ugly disgusting and ruins any serious moment in the cutscenes for me why couldnt they just make us wear the raven clan armor give us a new look for the raven clan armor when upgrade it to divine

Yep. Female eivor is canonical for main mission. And male eivor is canonical in Asgard, Jotunheim, and dawn of Ragnarok DLC, also forgotten saga.

A little underwhelming
29 days ? Is that like a release date for mirage ? I truly hope it’s not and mirage doesn’t play like Valhalla. Cause a lot of Valhalla had technical issues. The animations and the character models looked like crap while the atmosphere and the environments looked beautiful. I just hope mirage has better and smoother animations. If Ubisoft plans on releasing mirage early then that means there isn’t a lot of changes in that game compared to valhalla and it’ll be another skin of Valhalla but in bagdhad

it's 100% going to be as you described. I am absolutely certain that it'll just be Valhalla re-skin with the microtransactions removed, that's it. it's their plan to pull in the old fans by saying "oh look we removed the microtransactions, just like the good old games".

She went there to be alone and learn from Odin’s memories and past life, as for who buried her, we do not know but we can assume she probably knew some locals there that probably buried her when she passed. Ravensthorpe probably continued for some time before it changed.
Roshan never was a part of the last chapter.
We don’t really need to know every last detail
