What exactly is Baldr’s ambitions?
@@Ozzie_Mandias if u look in actual real mythology fenrir kills odin in ragnarok but baldr avenged him and killed Fenrir. So I guess this is the way the lovers Hel and Baldr aka "day and night" finally undone Loki's dooming of Odin.. and Loki stealing the thrown to the kingdom of heaven.. and most importantly.. the Well of Imir and the cloning machine with the more powerful Animus etc and the hidden technologies in Asgard.
So they could combine the technologies of the Jotun cloning machine etc and the Asgard one.
It was a massive grab for the hidden Isu technologies designed by the Nornir making them all immortal like Odin.
Cos Loki knew of the Vanir and Jotun Isu technologies.. but the third Nornir machine was hidden in Asgard.
Which was Fenrirs true mission in Asgard.. he was put there to find the machine.. by earning the trust of Tyr.. Odins most trusted advisor.. knowing Tyr's only soft spot was man's best friend. Hounds.
Is this a PC mod thing?
Cos how is Odin wearing the Blue Ice Niflheim Helix Armour? Cos I'd love to wear that or the Isu Knight helix armour but can only find the black Hellheim fire armour in the dlc
@@jimsus69 last time i checked it was Vidar that avenges odin stomping his great leather boot on fenrir's jaw ripping him apart.

I like how it explains how synin’s the keeper of Odin’s memories an also how Odin loosing his memories keeps him in the gameplay loop. Also is interesting how Hel say that her army’s are gonna fight Odin’s @ Ragnarok 👀

This DLC gets me excited for a full on Assassin's Creed game that takes place in the ISU era. Though i know people would still complain and moan about the game going hard sci fi like they did around AC3's release.
But the problem is it’s not really sci fi. It’s using the illusion of sci fi as a cover up so Ubisoft can get away with constantly portraying fantasy stories, when originally it was entirely against fantasy and myths.
@@Jaanikins I never said that this was sci-fi. I meant the ISU saga as its original intent is sci-fi and that people will complain about it just as the did in AC3's release. Which this portrayal is unique and interesting. It brings all of the myths and legends in a different light disguised a humanity interpretation of events due to ignorance and lack of comprehension even the actual ISU would be going extremely far out in its ideas and history of the ISU.
Of course they'd complain lol they'd be like "ItS nOt AsSaSsInS cReEd AnYmOrE"
@@ELDIABLO_71 They did that even back then. I can remember a lot of so called AC fans hated the Sci fi elements and only wanted it to remain grounded even though AC the foundation of the main conflict is built on finding these artifacts.

No ... one after fight dialogue with Hel missing the 4 th one, when she say "Nifelheim should not bowe to your will". and He said something like "sounds like a ring of challenge"

Thank you, I beat it on the second try and missed a lot of these
I just discovered something, I started with a save before the patch to try to defeat Hel without dying from 0 (I got it the third try) and when I succeeded I had that last cutscene where he talks to Thor about continuing and when I died on purpose there were no more cutscenes (Freya did not appear) suggesting that this is the end but the mission gift from otherworld is still active.
Yea I still got the mission to. Idk if is suppose to make you wanna go back an play it more or if is a glitch? 🤷♂️
I got all the scenes exept the last scene when Freya is leaving and the mission is Still active does anyone know how to fix It because I really don't want to Play it all again
@@michachwastek5287 found somewhere...maybe on reddit...a conversation with a support team guy who spoke of quest not completing being rather a bug for you are returning to the realm via potion drinking and since its a never ending loop due to how you lose memory of your final encounter with Hell and thus coming back for her again and again and again.
So from what I'm getting Baldur survives Ragnarok by pretending he's dead and hanging out in the land of the dead. He then becomes Jesus I guess.

Massive cljff hanger, and people are just talking about cuscenes or getting past bosses/zones -.-
It would be nice if you could give an overview of the branching paths in these cut scenes to extent there were differences.
Well to be honest there aren't a lot of branching paths. Basically if you encounter the Kaldstad boss the first time you get the first cutscene we showed, if you encounter it the second time you'll get the second one and so on. And the same goes for all the other dialogues. If you die multiple times you are going to get the various cutscenes in Odin's camp.
Nice! I missed the last one where Freyja returns to Asgard because I managed to kill Hel on the first try 😂😂 I guessed you're not supposed to and even I was surprised on how I managed to do it with only like 120 health points out of 270. I was only able to defeat Nidhogg on the third try but managed to defeat Hel on the first one. Anyone else found the dragon a much more difficult challenge or was it just me? Anyway, very nice for you to record every possibel cutscene for those of us who arent able to watch them all!
Has someone figured out how to complete Nifelheim? Did your task label disappear?
damn, I missed like over half of the after defeats... was wondering why Freya left, when she said she needed to do some investigating :D shame the custcenes stop once you beat Hela

Honestly, are they going to try and bring bauldr to present day as a force against loki or for something else? I get that from his dialogue but at the same time can we trust that vision? Maybe hela is lying idk I'm getting confuse just like havi hahaha

That's the first thing I thought when I saw the ending. Except... he failed since now Loki knows about it. Maybe hiding it from Loki all the way until 2000's was enough though.
What about the cutscenes where Eivor wakes up? I woke up at least twice while playing Forgotten Saga and each time there was a cutscene where she said something different each time. Also, is there supposed to be another scene between Eivor and Valka if you beat it? Can’t find those cutscenes anywhere so it’d be really cool if you guys took a look. Either way though, good work on the ones you found! Thanks!

Yeah pretty much. Balder seems tobe hinting at another crisis event to take place in the future. I guess he's supposed to stop loki

Anyway, I got to the end and purposely missed out on watching the cutscenes. I got the one that starts at 25:44.
I then started a new run but losing / quitting the game no new cuitscene appeared to me. Based on your video, I'm missing two. Advice?
As for the additional ending(s), yeah, you need to beat Hel a second, third and even fourth time.
As for the fail state cutscenes, I am not 100% sure how they trigger to be honest, some of them triggered even by abandoning a new run after a few seconds, but that was before getting to the final area. I'm not sure if triggering the final failed run cutscenes means you can't see the ones prior to that :(
There is at least one more cutscene with Hel - after her 4th defeat she says that Niflheim is resisting the will of Havi. Gonna check what happens after her 5th defeat. And 6th. And 7th... Hey, what was that word again? Determined? ;-)
What i kinda regret is getting too good for i robbed myself of 25:45-31:55 after defeat scenes. Basically obtained that dwarven defender armor and got lucky on finding a flail with which i am quite trained+the lightning based axe throwing skill+incendiary powder trap,so i kept running between health weapon and ability upgrading encounters so when i reached the second area boss like second (maybe third) time i ended him finally with the dragon and hel getting defeated first try (honestly did not expected the dragon being that harder compared to hel)
So...Eivor gonna meet Baldr within a simulation, grey or what? 👀👌🏾
baldur is one of the aesir that will live after ragnarok, according to sagas he will return from Helheim and be one of the few gods that will rebuild a new world with humans

8 or 9 if I'm not mistaken (but some lasted intentionally a few minutes 😜)

Meh, it was just a long-playthrough. I'm not interested in playing this DLC yet so I spoiled myself the main story by watching another video with longer duration.
What I meant by that was: Wish I could have watched this one first. Haha.😛
@@LaRedDeErudito Ah! I got it now! Well, you can check what you missed in this one, here we should have ALL variations of all cutscenes (save from one camp scene which I've heard about but never actually saw for now)

I've just discovered that there is one more cutscene with Thor and Freya.I would have liked to see it, because it was part of the story,but "unfortunatly" I was to good playing this that I didn't died just one more time.I hate to lose the possibility to see a cutscene,so thanks for this video.I'm also curious to see your analisys, because I think that it could have consequences for the future arcs considering that is practally confirmed that Baldr survived during the Toba Catastrophe and he seems to have a role in a war after that (probably the one between Assassins and Templars).
Unfortunatly,the mythological veil ruins once again the way that we see this story,so I know that it could be difficult mission this analisys.

I didn't understand the ending of the DLC( Odin still keeps trying to save Baldr, but he can't be saved anymore? How will he save Baldr? How will he be revived?

Yep! Though it's mostly a cutscene at the start, 2-3 lines if you wake up before finishing the game mode and some additional lines when you complete the game mode

I defeated Hell 8 times and I completely upgraded my skill tree and all 7 armour set and about Hell there is 3 diferent pre fight dialogue and 4 diferent after fight dialogue the last one in both case are repeating over and over again... my advice use only spear and bow as a weapon and ability damage light fuiry

I can't even access it. The Sigrblot Festival cutscene keeps making my game crash to dashboard, making it impossible for me to start The Forgotten Saga or do anything else at Ravensthorpe. It seems to be happening to everyone on Xbox and a bunch of people on PlayStation AND PC.
It happened to me once (after I finished The Forgotten Saga). After I closed and reopened the game it never happened again.

@@David-nq8cv I guess that also makes each level make sense too. Each territory he's visited is bleeding in and I can only assume the swampy area is another realm he visited while seeking all to allow Baldr to come back.
When I first started, I thought I was gonna do all of it in one go. But as soon as a saw a druid, I didn't even bother trying. These guys are hard and aggressive
Ha! Well, that's how roguelikes are usually designed. Every area is tougher than the one before. But the more power-ups and upgrades you get, the easier it will be once you get back to the third area (and the fourth one after!)

Not with the full skill tree, not yet. To be honest you're already pretty overpowered when you have half of the skill tree unlocked

It's baffling to me that some free stuff in the game is more thought out than the paid DLCs.

Sort of - the actual ending is the one with Baldr!
The cinematics are great, the story is interesting when the game accepts when you died and the gameplay is interesting, not very diverse and a little repetitive sometimes but the reward is so shit, idk why bother, when I looked at the amor is sayd why the grind for a armor that is useless like 95% of arms in the game.

i’m not sure on if synin is actually 75000 years old. I guess synin also has a staff of hermes hidden up his ass for thousands of years and that’s how he’s still alive for eivor

Terrible game mode. Yes I beat it but I didn't enjoy it.
I think it's over exhausting to say this isn't your father's Assassins Creed. I think I just wish they would have called the game Valhalla: A Vikings Take and I think I wouldn't be so turned off
Yeah, the mythological coating with dragons and giants and magic can be really off-putting for many fans. Nonetheless, despite that, this game mode is very good and interesting under a lot of perspectives, especially gameplay wise.
In my opinion it's worth a try, especially considering it's free ^^

I'm so tired of this game I'm watching the ending rather then playing it, all it does is dissatisfy me anymore, nothing relevant to the brotherhood, nothing clear about the ISU, nothing relevant about Eivor, like it's been 2 years and they haven't cleared up ANYTHING.
