Notation mistake at 00:16 in the video: After the sideswitch with Heat, I forgot to include the input for Heat Burst at the end before b3~f21. You need to use 2+3 (Heat Burst) input in that sequence.
Just subbed because of your Bryan BnB Combo video, just picked him up for Tekken 8 and your videos are helping already :) Would appreciate a Bryan "Beginner" Video, where you could give us some overall tips and tricks on how to play him (How to punish, what to do vs certain match ups etc.). Keep up the good work man, great channel
Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot to me to get Comments like this ❤ I will take this into consideration and try to work on it. Right now i have some other videos planned out, but i will put that on my list!
Do you have any tips for consistency with the first combo? I get really close to the wall but need just a tiny centimeter more to get them to the wall. I'm not sure if I need delay a hit as late as possible or get a deeper dash. I'd appreciate any help.
I would say the key factors for you to reach the wall are: 1. Dash as deep as you can after d3+4,2 2. Delay your f1+2,F in the heat engage ender: b2,1~ "f1+2,F", and also delay the last f2,1 on the Combo ender: b2,1~ "f2,1" 3. It's important that your MicroDash before uf3 needs to be quite short, on smaller Characters like Xiaoyu, in order to not get out of Axis (The deeper you MicroDash before uf3 on small Characters, the more you change the axis of the Combo). Otherwise, you might not move in a straight line to the other side but instead, angle your combo slightly off course. This will probably cause the combo not to reach the wall but you will be very close allowing you to still pressure a cornered opponent. Goodluck Practicing!
