Thanks, my man! Yeah, just around 2 weeks ago I switched from a pad to a leverless controller. It's the Haute42 G16. I mainly bought it because of its cheap price in my area (60€) and it has proven to be a really good deal! I've only had good experiences with it so far and can really recommend it!

Yeah, I'm hyped to try out the unscaled taunts and new combo routes!
When you do a wall splat into taunt into launcher do you have to taunt or is there a different route
The wall enders I use work especially well with taunts because they are guaranteed if the opponent rolls on wake-up. That's why I usually opt for the taunt there. You could also just do normal oki with a low or a mid. For example, b4 is still devastating if not blocked at the wall. Alternatively you could go for a vortex move like df4, which knocks them down with a guaranteed follow-up soccer kick. Generally, taunt is just the best option after wall enders though. You could start with something easy like taunt 1,4, which leaves you with +5 frames of advantage. Otherwise, just go for the max damage wall enders like 1+2,1 > uf2,2,2,2,2,3.

@@LawFury no no , not style , about hardness level , for example Level 1 is doing DB2 after orbital,
Level 2 is doing Double knees after orbital
Level 3 is doing 5 Knees then QCB 1 etc....

At 2:18 you did a qcf 1+2 while in heat, mid combo after a screw which resulted in heat dash. You then did b2,1 f 2,1. Anytime i do anything after heat dash i get so much pushback that i can land maybe 2 hits max. Is this a reset or am i missing something?
It mostly comes down to the number of hits in the combo before going into a heat dash. The more hits you have in your combo, the more the opponent will be knocked back during the next hit. For example in this Combo I did 7 hits until i activated heatdash with the 8th hit, allowing me to go for b2,1~f2,1.
If you do for example this combo: CH 3+4 > SSR > QCF3,4 > d3+4,2 > b2,1~f1+2f (activate heat dash with f1+2, then it'll be your 8th hit in the combo) > b2,1~f2,1 (and thus this ender will work).
@@LawFury Thank you. I knew about the number of hits thing, but I never had any confidence in it connecting. I will have to practice it more. And I need to stop using heat burst after the T! Just to do two qcf+1+2. It works for damage but saving heat for combos seems to have more benefits

Appreciate it man. I just recently switched to leverless and bought myself a cheap, entry-level one, so I can't help you that much here my man. But the one I bought is the Haute42 G16 and I'm generally very satisfied with it. The build quality of Haute seems to be pretty good I'd say!

@@abuzar5282 Both look fantastic. It seems the M16 is more of a premium product with different materials, whereas the T16 is a bit cheaper. I also heard that the T16 is easier to customize if you're into that. I'd maybe just go with the one that looks better or suits your budget best.

So just press b2 and then immediately hold down forward and press 4.

Hi I’m rly thinking to pick him as my first main( I’m new to tekken 8), just wanted to know if he rly is that difficult to play with?
His combos and low level play is easy, however, once you start to get midway through intermediate you'll struggle to open people up which is where his difficulty lies.
Unlike some characters, you'll have to learn a lot of nuances with bryan such as spacing after unsafe moves to mix in CHs, mixing and tracking timing of your attacks along with your opponent, maintaining certain spacing to abuse bryans safety and you'll have to use a lot of conditioning.
These are very core things to tekken and unlike other characters bryan relies on it to open people up.
At low level, you'll just abuse snake edge and win lol
Intermediate is where you'll have a lot to learn and as you break into lower high level play you'll start to have to utilize taunt and that's where bryans heavy execution curve begins. At high level, taunt will be one of the primary ways bryan makes opponent press buttons(keeping in mind bryan is a CH character so he wants them pressing buttons) or get opened up by the taunt.
Bryan also is one of the more honest characters as most of his moves rely on core fighting game aspects.
He's actually a good first character to pickup and learn the game competitively, however, be prepared that entering intermediate you'll start to struggle opening people up until you improve on the neutral play.

Also worth noting that Bryan is one of the few characters where learning combos early is essential because doing a basic string after landing CH will lead you nowhere
how do you dash up and do b2 that fast without jet upper?
I'm not sure I just got used to it ,but but try to do bb2 so u can cancel the forward
Tbh I think I'll upload a video on how I perform the b2 mid combos without getting a jet upper. This is by far the most asked question in my comments.

how consistently would you say you hit tju in online games vs practice mode?
When I started Tju practice at some point I could probably do 8 out of 10 in practice mode, so I started implementing them online. But now it feels like I do them more consistently online than in practice mode. At some point it just clicked in my head during practice and since then I can do it in-game pretty consistently.
