What's one of your favourite phrases/quotes? Please share! I'd love to read through them, and for all of us to read them. I hope you're all staying healthy and safe xoxo
As a Christian, one of my favourite Bible verses is 'I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.' I've just left London to live with and support my parents who are in their 70's and live 300 miles away. This verse has been giving me the strength to get through each day.
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference". An oldie but a goodie.
Sarah Thatcher Also, “God grant me the serenity to accept the PEOPLE I cannot change, the courage to change the ONE I can, and the wisdom to know it’s ME.”
" Dance like nobody's watching, sing like nobody can here you, love like you've never been hurt, live like heaven is a place on earth" Hope your well Megan 🙏
A new tea I've been drinking lately, is boiling orange peels and lemon peels with a little bit of honey. It tastes so good and it calms me immediately!
"The Peace of Wild Things - Wendell Berry When despair for the world grows in me and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my childrens's lives may be, I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds. I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief. I come into the presence of still water. And I feel above me the day - blind stars waiting with their light. For a time I rest in the grace of the world, an am free." This is a poem my sister just shared in a birthday card she wrote me and I found it very comforting and soothing. Love xx
My favorite is the saying "mistakes arent bad as long as you learn from them" and I feel like that exact saying is what has shaped me as a person. If something awful happens to me I ask myself how I could learn from it.
You are a wonderful artist, Meghan! Wow! One of my Favorite quotes: Albert Einstein-There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. (I live my life as though everything is a miracle!)
A Minister once said “You don’t know what almost happened to you today.” That has always stuck with me. Sounds scary/negative but really it’s not. It’s about Gratitude!
*The healthiest habit I'm cultivating is balanced eating with my food and not killing myself for having an off day or two through the week, I'm giving myself credit for at least eating one healthy meal on that off day*
Meghan I want to tell you that I absolutely love your channel! I've been trying and incorporating minimalism into my life and you are my inspiration Thank you for making such a great videos!
I like this one: Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go”. ☺️
Focusing on the present moment is exactly why I love riding horses and just being around them in general. Focusing on enjoying them makes all of the world’s problems melt away for a bit. Helpful reminders, great video, thanks! ❤️

My favorite creative outlet is planting things! I also love to draw but I don't do it often. The planting is getting me in trouble though! Here in NY we just got more snow, so it'll further delay the time I have to transplant everything outside. I'll just be living in a greenhouse for a little while (Which I'm TOTALLY okay with :p)! Thanks so much for your encouraging and informative videos, Meghan! I've been obsessed!
Thank you! That was uplifting in a very calming way. I am trying to incorporate 4 things into my days right now: get some fresh air (ideally going for a walk, no matter how short!), meditate, move my body (some gentle stretching or 10 minutes of feel good cardio - love fitnessblender for that) and I am trying to use the current situation to do yoga again every day. Loved your video, stay safe, greetings from germany

It's such a great reminder to let the outside anxieties of the world remain, and to not let them shake you.
“All the love I need is within me now”. I often substitute love for peace, health, security, etc. I learned the affirmation from a wonderful book by a psychotherapist about addiction. The book is called “Healing the Addictive Mind”.
These are simple but powerful ways to improve your health. They should post these tips at every doctor's office in the country. I couldn't find better health advice anywhere. I personally like poetry and writing too and find these helpful for reliving stress. And a little boredom is good! "There's always a light in the dark. If you can't see it, turn the light on". This is actually paraphrased from a random kids book i had way back and for some reason it always stuck with me through life's trials. I love how it focusses on the fact that you can't always wait for something good to happen. Sometimes you have to find the positives yourself, make your own luck, find the good in things/people etc. Also, I'm a classical musician living in a studio flat with an acoustic piano and several woodwind instruments, and lots of neighbours - i'm sure they're loving me right now, but without my music I feel lost! This too, shall pass. Virtual hugs everyone, stay safe! ❤️

This has been especially helpful for me, someone who is a chronic over thinker.
