- A lot of us have brand preferences while buying a new car. And if you are looking into the Tata family for a city friendly option, you have three. The Altroz, a proper premium hatchback. Punch, a hatchback with the characteristics of an SUV and finally the Nexon. However, at the price of the top-end Punch and Altroz, you get the mid XM S variant of the Nexon. Also, all of these three cars fall under the 4 metre rule. So can the Altroz and Punch give the Nexon a run for its money, or does the Nexon have a big enough advantage over the siblings when it comes to space and practicality that sacrificing some features is worth it. If we talk about Nexon, its ride comfort will give you little reason to complain inside the city but though Nexon is quick to settle down after bumps and speed breakers, surface undations are pronounced in its cabin on rough roads. Check the brochure....8 speakers confirmed.

Booked Tata punch in Dec 2021 but after I saw Punch on road it seems that its trim from behind and that's why I cancelled Punch and purchased Tata Altroz and its superb.
Any other reason not to consider punch i am happy to hear man..
@@arghyabanerjee444 punch is fully equiped mini suv but unfortunately what hype Tata created via advertisements this car is not delivering. This is not related to car performance its only that Tata is not able to provide car on time to masses, therefore serious car buyers are looking for alternatives . But on the other hand Tata Altroz is a best option of car, luxury and stability on road and price also low as compared to hyundai i 20, aura, baleno, dezire.

It is very clear.. You have the extra budget, get the Nexon.. You have the most modern Tata, get the Punch.. You want the cheapest turbo petrol fun n don't mind poor ground clearance, get the Altroz..

Nice comparison. my opinion is, if you stay in a small city and your travel includes around city then altroz is best. if you live in city and travel includes city/light off-road then select Punch. If you live in a rural area and includes off-roading and highway run, then nexon would be better. Mine was 3rd case, so I chose Nexon. Its perfect for my family. again its my personal opinion.

I have recently purchased Punch Accomplished after doing all the maths & commerce and found punch more beneficial, comfortable & pocket friendly. Had a great experience till the time, excluding an AC issue which was a manufacturing defect which is already resolved by the company.
For highway, punch been a great experience with help of Cruise and tilt seat adjustment and economical too.
Hi Shashank, I also bought Tata Punch Adventure Rhythm on 2nd April and facing the AC issue. Do I need to visit the showroom and ask for fix that issue?
@@techtips7638 Hey, I informed the tata customer care firstly, then called the service center and share the concern. They fixed the concern in one go without charging a single penny if it's a manufacturing fault.

Feeling happy afterall I am Altroz XZ plus owner 😅 No compromise 🚗. Driven 6000km enjoy every trip. I had budget for Nexon too but I choose Altroz over Nexon because of Primium ness and road presense.

Altroz tops the 3 primarily for these reasons:
1. Stability - you get that sports car feel with the sharp looks and aerodynamic body. Feels better, rides way stable on any roads.
2. Ride Quality - Extremely well balanced. Rode better on any roads, ground clearance wasn’t an issue anywhere. The suspension setup is so good that the car barely touches anywhere. Nexon may fly faster on any roads but the sofa type cushioning ain’t really comfortable for longer trips. Altroz is slightly better.
3. Handling and Mileage - Better design - lesser height - better handling any day for altroz. Mileage is better by leaps and bounds in Altroz over punch and Nexon mainly due to lower height.
The only thing it misses out is the high seating commanding view which can help for new drivers. However if you’re an experienced driver - you’d love to ride the Altroz.
Like he rightly mentioned - a true all rounder!
I just booked the Altroz iTurbo. But I'm wondering whether a GC with Nexon would be better. Also, the new Nexon looks sharper with the facelift. But it comes at an extra spend of 2.5-3 lakh.

My budget is INR 10-10.50 Lcs and Tata Punch will be my go to car out of these three. Why I selected Punch ?
1. Nexon XMA AMT does not provide an infotainment system.
2. No driver seat height adjustment in Nexon XMA AMT.
3. No rear parking camera in Nexon XMA AMT.
I have to spend 32K more just for points 1 and 3.
Whereas in Tata Punch Creative AMT, I am getting all the above mentioned features plus alloy wheels and fog lamps and LED DRL's with the same 5star safety rating as Nexon.

All things are ok in this video. But when we consider pricing please you atleast can show the 4 metro city on road prices because pricing is actually the decision maker factor.
Proud owner of Altroz XZ+ Dark Edition. Tata needs to heavily invest in making the dealers capable of providing good service. Honestly its pathetic at my dealer (Navi-Mumbai) and I have seen other TATA owners suffering as well.

No matter how much I hate the design of tata punch...its rear view camera, small size and good ground clearance all together helped me get rid of tough driving situation and prevented accident so many times

Nexon's front & rear profile design looks cluttered. Minimalist is futuristic. That's why Altroz & Punch look more appealing to a car connoisseur.

Achha laga sun k… I did Mumbai to Goa , 4 people and 2 mid size and 4 cabin size luggage in boot. I was amazed at the performance with that much load. And yes cooled glove box lives upto its name. It really helped keep our water at really good temperature (not warm not too chilled) and with hand rest in the rear seat gave us feeling of that premium touch that this segment promises.

Altroz iturbo xz is allrounder. You get premium hatchback with top notch ride quality. Driving it from last 8 months. Enjoying every ride. Other 2 can't match the road presence of Altroz.

I purchased Nexon XM Diesel, skipping altroz xz+ dual Tone Diesel ..... Everything is satisfactory in Nexon ...... Power and torque makes u satisfied ... But , due to lack of features .... It feels less premium ... Main thing that is missing most for me is Infotainment Screen and Reverse Camera ....

No point of comparison because buyers are looking for the vehicle based on type of the car and not the company. So if you've budget go for the Nexon else don't buy SUV and better go for Altroz. Also don't go for something like crossover because you will not get reliable features from both type of the cars.
When you are comparing Nexon XMS then you should bring that particular variant not the top trim sand show adjustable headrest and rear ac vent. Make real comparison and don't misguide your viewers.
