    I think best is AMT for new drivers and old citizens as in AMT we have manual shifting option also so we can enjoy imt in that and MT is best for commercial purposes and young adventurous drivers who actually want to feel the pleasure of driving.😊
    Regarding DCT and other high grade automatic transmission these are for premium buyers who like pleasent shock free luxurious drive.

    Points may have been added -
    1) manual gives much better control in hands of driver.
    2) If one is planning to buy only one car, should preffer manual. If he has to go for a weekend in hilly area, automatic entry or mid level cars (cc less than 2k) may fail miserably.

      If you learn to drive a manual...you can do both just with the help of the clutch, and you wont need useless company fitted features

    • @alankardas3294
      @alankardas3294 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Ankit Menon I already know how to drive a manual and I also know that it can very well be done with the help of the clutch. These features are essential in the Automatic variant because they don’t have the clutch, they are generally not needed in a manual car.

    I got Grand Vitara MT and it's so smooth to drive and doesn't bother at all, had tried Elevate CVT but it's true that it's like driving scooty. Its confusing decision between MT and AMT but AMT may be better for females and senior citizens. AMT may have different levels of gear boxes and that may affect performance over time but manual is evergreen. USA 100% moved to AMT due to it takes very minimal time to learn and get the license and price was not the issue so all driving schools start coaching AMT.. Europe known for the car technology is still vastly on manual transmission. That speaks up the truth.

    The basic principle behind this engine rpm and speed is the inter conversion of torque and angular speed for a constant power,
    At higher speeds we get low torque at wheels (to carry it's momentum)
    And at lower speeds we have higher torque (to move the big inertia)
    For a given constant amount of throttle
