only one reason not to buy this is a locking system...that anyone or any child can open doors very easily..and the tata punch also have the same issue...dedicated lock switch like nexon is not there in altroz and punch

Im very satisfied and happy with my Tata Altroz...I can proudly say it is an Indian brand car and its stability and comfort is best. U feel very confident even at high speeds and tough conditions of roads. Music system is best in segment. Rain sensing wipers , 90 degrees opening doors r best features to have 👌

Truck banged my Altroz from behind. Windshield gone, few other damages, nobody got hurt though. It's a classy product, mine is grey, red looks awesome.
There are few issues that I faced till now:
1.> music is awesome when connected through android auto, not the same quality audio through bluetooth or FM.
2.> Sometimes lower gear transitions are not that smooth.
3.> front dashboard reflection on windshield is present, visibly noticed in bright sunlight conditions.

Also, when car stops suddenly, It doesn't start by pressing start button. Have to press it continuosly 5-6 times. Not sure what is the trick here. Really appreciate if someone can answer this

It's most probably a software issue. Sometimes it happens in Nexon too. In three years of usage I have experienced it 4 or 5 times. Sometimes reengaging the clutch helps if it doesn't start. When you release the clutch it acts like a reset, in my observation.

Altroz with wide tyre and big wind screen with fog lamps given a good visibility and good grip on the roads which was full of water-logs.

My car broke down within 2 months of delivery, it has been 2 days and they have not sent anyone to repair despite multiple calls to helpline number. Called the showroom for help and they were of no use. This happened inside the city. Cannot imagine the situation of this happens on the road in between cities or in a small town.
Also, the delivery was very very delayed. They said they will deliver in 3-4 weeks. But they were not even close to that. After 4 weeks I started following up and there was no response. After 2 months I went to the showroom and shouted in front of other potential customers. Then they prioritised my order and delivered after another month. They sales agent actually said that they prioritise delivery when customer gets really angry and comes to showroo. Fantastic process by TATA

The after sales service is still a big issue for TATA we request big youtubers like u to take this matter to the company as u would have a greater impact
Being an Altroz owner, I never faced any after sales service issue. I've got my Car serviced 2 times and both the times the experience was great. On top of that TATA has improved it's after sales services as they'll call you and check if you (the car owner) is satisfied with the service or not. Loving the new energy with which TATA is working these days.
@@mrudulgole that is a standard practice, even two wheeler SVC centers give feedback call.
Most after sales issues I have seen online are when the vehicle faces some issue and the SVC centers are not able to provide support.

I am first time owner of Tata car in my case when face something with my car sc response me proper and resolved that in few days wether it's update or anything people just creating bad about Tata this this n this even maruti take time resolve the things so need to have patience. Other hand Indian people have mentality like agar videsh ki company h to achi h ar fir usme diktat hti h to use kch ni bola jata qki wo straight forward bol dete h nahi hga you have to pay ar service charges like above the beyond I had 4th service in 3500 only for Tata altroz ......all buggers just creating bad image go for videshi gadi they will give you all home service and give drivers as well like Ford

my friend brought a nexon and the service by tata was soo bad ..he got fed up with all the issues and problems in the car and sold it after 7 months of purchase
@@elvis9241 It does depend on what dealer you buy the car from. And if you are not happy with the service of your service center you can change it just by making a request. It's sad that your friend had to sell his Nexon. But I feel he might just didn't liked the car. Why I'm saying this is because their are good number of facebook groups of all the car owners and people find and share experiences. And people find great advices.... It's just that you have to also be empowered as a user.
I'm not saying TATA is best, because I own my first car which happens to be a TATA

Owning the exact same Altroz harbour blue with Turbo for almost an year. Really love the looks and the driving experience. Mileage is about 13 to 15. Perfomance is also great. For the price, Altroz is a great choice

My car is Tata altroz, today I had an accident with scooter i really shocked about the sound which I heard from inside ,the scooter from behind hit my car really hard but my car got minor scratches some little paint gone,but the scooter is damaged. Altroz is amazing. Proud to own one❤️❤️❤️

I am unsure if this is a product placement or genuine review. For the purpose, i assume the latter.
I am an owner of the exact same model. (iTurbo top model, Blue). While overall the car is excellent and is a complete head turner, there are some key issues.
1) NVH levels are poor. VERY poor, especially on concrete roads. For my part, I will eventually get some kind of noise reduction done (from 3M). I understand the car is heavy and adding more would have made it heavier but the road noise is truly unbearable at times.
2) Gear shits - The shifts are NOT smooth. I dont think any car has Hyundai level smoothness in this price range but the gear box in the Altroz is notchy. And yes, I have sent it to the service center to no avail.
3) Pickup - On City mode even thr iturbo versio nstruggles, especially on inclines. The sports mode helps but tis a guzzler.
Over all I am quite happy with the car. The build and handling make me skate over the negatives. But i thought id just post this to bring some perspective.

Most of the owners are complaining about the ground clearance and low fuel efficiency? How much mileage are you getting? Please reply soon as I am thinking of buying it within a week. And I belong to a financially weaker family so I have to look at all of the aspects.

One thing I like most about altroz is side indicators which are not embedded in side mirrors...so that in case of any side accident the customer can easily replace cheaper side mirrors without indicator cost

The day tata gets all their service centers right they will be no. 1 for sure. Cars are superb

Absolutely the best hatchback car without any doubt. Some people say about baleno or i20 engines but supposed they are better than still never give the ride you can feel in altroz. The comfort you feel is just out of the box. One more thing is if you have no value of two lakh RS then only you will go with i20 which is never a vfm product.

Altroz is has more space than punch ,also more engine option , Punch is a different sagment car ...
If roads are smooth in ur area then go for altroz for sure. There are some cons of altroz like low pickup, instrument system lag etc.
If bad road then go for punch

Rachit sir, although I haven't any car but planning to buy and when I take test drive, one of my collegue drove Altroz and I was on the rear seat, but I feel very hard suspension and he told that the gear box and steering is very hard. That's why I dropped the plan to buy Altroz, I am now thinking about Tigor. Let's hope Tigor for softer suspension (major concern) and light handling.

All the NCAP tests are done in a studio and at a top speed of 64kmph. I don't understand how on Earth in a highway all these cars would feel safer when driven at 90plus kmph. So I believe safety is in the hands of the driver.

I felt vribrations in 1st and 2nd gear in NA engine. Is this resolved with AL05 update? Nexon petrol engine is good, but I feel altroz is comfortable for long journey due to low ground clearance. More body role in nexon.

Go and do a Ecu update which was released last year and now the lag and jeek has gone. The gear doesn't even vibrate.

After ECU update ALM4, 2nd gear problem goes away. I too had same problem, but after update the engine has no problems now, except NVH.

I am the owner of Tata Altroz, but sadly there is some issues in break. After so many complaints Tata is not addressing the issue and not fixed. They said me break create problems sometimes. But my point is if break doesn’t work in the worst situation then what’s the point of 5 star safety

I don't know why people asking automatic, sunroof, air purifiers, etc..... Seems that all features in BMW and audi...... People are preferring.....
@@rkvignesh8236 Automatic is not a feature, its the gearbox. And btw Altroz is a daily commute within city limits car. Dunno about you but an automatic make more sense atleast in cities with all the traffic irrespective of the class of cars unless you are from Monaco and everyone's driving a high end premium car.
I'm one of them. Really liked Altroz, but rejected it because it didnt have the automatic. Pissed off with TM. All the competitors have good automatics, Altroz doesn't get one and the others like the Nexon have the shoddy AMT. Really wtf.
Automatic is becoming a basic necessity today. It's just more convenient to use in heavy stop and go traffic and you don't have to worry about wearing out your clutch.
Demand hote tuun Harrier ki tarah turont de dete , TATA ki pass iski demand sayad abhitak aayie nehi , kyunki already waiting par roha hein launch hone se , sales par koyee asar nehi pora hein automatic naa hone se ... i20 mein ishe kaafi jyada feature aur gear box hone se bhi sales kom hein , VFM. Is important which offere Altroz more than others ...

Rachit bhai aapke reviews se humne ALTROZ ka DARK EDITION kharida and i must say i am really satisfied by the product and i have drove around 2400km in a month i have no issues... Its really smooth to drive and has the best comfort in its class... The sound system is just awesome... Very happy... The dark edition is a head turner i must say

Tata has a long way to go in terms of aftersales service to be equal to maruti and Maruti has a long way to go in terms of premium safety, technology and weight to mileage ratio to be equal to Tata. As simple as that.

What about the exterior noise that filters into the cabin and the interior quality.. doesn't the interior fibre rattle and add to the overpowering external road and tyre noise that already annoyingly filters into the cabin? Please share your thoughts
I am so happy with this car, I am a proud owner of Altroz Xz petrol. It's been two months with this car, it feels so comfortable and safe to ride even on bad roads. And the average of this car is also pretty good I am getting 20-23 on highways and 17-20 in city. Go for it.

GC of Altroz maybe a problem for bad roads.
Go with punch, i m a hatchback owner which has 165mm GC and trust me i regret, GC matters almost as much as safety or any other important feature in India, considering the horrible road conditions.
No doubt Altroz and hatchbacks are great cars, but practically speaking they will often create problems becoz of their low GC.
