The folks in the bright yellow t-shirts are PTX family members there to support. For example, the man second from the right with the glasses is Mike Kaplan, Avi's father. In the episode where the winner is announced, the yellow-shirted families are right there again in support.
It was a lot of fun watching all of these with you! Most of us have seen them before, and it is great to see them with others who are real music lovers and PTX fans. You can see how they learned to trust each other so they could put all their energies into the songs. For the final video, where they learn who won, the show took a long time building up the suspense. Out of 16 groups at the start of the show, there were three groups left - PTX, Urban Legend and The Dartmouth Aires. I don't know if I could have survived watching that, it would have been sooooo stressful. Hope you are having a good vacation, and see you in the final show!
Great reaction. Thank you. I was a big 98 Degrees fan so I love that Pentatonix got to sing with Nick Lachey. I also think that they did an amazing job. The only thing that kind of creeped me out was that Nick was almost twice as old as Kirstie when they sang that.

Yes the clunky happens and it was a little awkward here. I just usually skip these last two performances. I watched them live and it was enough. I do love the next one where they come back in Season 4 for the finale and kill it. Their success really helped Home Free get their start. By then acapella was popular and the record company didn’t drop HF like they did PTX. Thanks for watching it though. You’ve made it through all the performances. Not many reactors will work their way to the finish line. 🎉

OK the performance was better than I had remembered. I still get a little cringe just because I knew that Kirsty was only 19 and nick lachey was like 40 something . But yeah at the second half I forgot that they actually kind of break it down.
Kirstie and the boys are full of confidence in this performance. The other two finalists also performed with Sara and Ben (not sure here) but this one is the best. I could be biased tho lol
Adding: IIUC Shawn Stockman wasn't allowed to sing with any of the groups because of restrictions within his Boys2Men contract. ☹ Sad. I would have really loved to hear the world's first Pentaholic sing with them.
