They came on stage ,started playing this and the sun came out brilliantly over the top of the pyramid stage .Lit the world up ,everyone cheered .A moment in my life I'll never forget 🌞. The song was written by Mick Hucknall (the ginger) he wrote the song when he was 17. His mother left the family when he was three. This inspired him to write the song. Also inspired by arguments he had with his father.

Oh my! Simply Red were my FAVOURITE band in the 80s. I love love love his voice. So many great tracks. Also love 'Money's Too Tight ( to mention)' about the Reagan / Thatcher era ( I left England for good because of bloody Maggie )

In our mid sixties so have seen well over 100 concerts in our day. Saw Simply Red over 20 yrs ago and it is in our top five best. Hucknell is flawless live. Simply Red. Simply magic.

I love the way you are so open to different types of music. I was a teenager and young adult in the 80's it was a great time for music there was a lot of creativity and experimentation. It was also the hey day of the music video!
