Think i need a new webcam lol, like to blur a lot in this video, sorry about that :P Also i forgot to mention my members/supporters lol THANK YOU MEMBERS/SUPPORTERS I APPRECIATE YOU :D It was 5am when i recorded it and i was super sleepy
Hey good video! I just ordered the 80HE and can't wait to put it together. Probably need to mod it a little bit to make it silent, but otherwise it seems brilliant. As long as the app works ofcourse. Really tired of the W key on my Logitech MX keys popping out and the kb not registering my key presses from time to time. Hopefully wife will understand the purchase. :D
@@SoulRollerFIN haha, thanks! I wish i waited and got the 80he as thats the perfect size in my opinion but yeah the app or web work perfectly + the beta versions also work well if you want to try the newest firmware
@@linuxnext I just realised the Wooting isn't wireless. Not sure I can go back to wired keyboards. But on the other hand there seems to be no other options with such good quality software support. The Akko has some model with decent software (at least for Win or Mac), but they're not available. I'm a bit torn.
@SoulRollerFIN yeah i wish the other keyboard companies supported linux, i could have saved a couple hundred bucks, i asked a lot of them and yeah no support, wooting rlly is the only option
@@linuxnext Any keyboard with onboard memory should work if you configure them on another machine or in a virtual machine. That's what I used to do with my Viper Ultimate mouse, until I realised I can combine Razer Genie in combination with OpenRGB on Linux. Right no I'm trying to figure out if I can get an Akko kit and configure it with a nordic layout keycap set. Seems like the best wireless/multifunction option.
I use a Gamakay TK68 HE on Linux. It doesn't natively support Linux but it hasn't been that bad.. I launch a windows VM and configure the keyboard through that. Usually it's a one and done thing for several days.
I have the Apex 9 Mini, its fine but from what im seeing it seems the wooting 60HE seems to be even better... Being able to customize it on linux is a good enough selling point for me
@@linuxnext in my opinion you deserve hundreds of thousands, it's the simple to the point videos not those 35 minutes of unrelated yapping (by that I mean unnecesary yapping, this video was 30 mins but very informative)
Yes it is possible, you could either do it through native as iv heard on reddit forums before or you could try out gamescope if that allows native games This could depend on the desktop environment you use aswell so it may not work on every desktop Ill try this out myself tomorrow but im pretty certain you can
Faster is a very vague word, kde and gnome are on par, its more what features do you need for your desktop as gnome is missing some vs kde, kde tends to develop a lot faster with new features and improvements while gnome takes a couple years to implement new features but tends to be stable when they arrive as all the bugs are ironed out and they think a design take longer as gnome is very minimal with ui decisions
@@linuxnext All i'm looking for to be faster with no stuttering at all , i'm using KDE for my thinkpad t470 and its perfect & really fast compared to my main desktop i use gnome but it tends to be slow sometimes

I agree
I was just thinking of ordering the new 80HE for the past week, this is great timing :)
Good luck on your case mod!
Got the Wooting Two HE. Very nice keyboard.
Same here, can totally vouch for wooting on Linux as well. Having the browser software option is so nice.

Yeah, iv been using the beta software also to try out the new socd feature and it works great with all my games
Wooting is located in Arnhem. This is a medium/big town in middle east of the Netherlands.
Made in Taiwan.

Yeah crazy, i appreciate everyone who has come by even if they dont sub, as long as they learn something about linux then i have accomplished it :)

Yes it does, in its like welcome app whatever, very good that they do that :)
