I have this for 3 weeks and I am overall happy with it. The only problems I noticed so far are:
    1) Sometimes it treats shadows as obstacles when the camera is oriented towards the sun.
    2) Sometimes rain water gathers on the button area and reads false pushes, sometimes stopping on the spot without reason.
    3) when returning to the station it ignores no go zones. During my first installation there was a no go zone close to the charging station and when it returned it always crossed it. I ended up moving the station and redoing all the mapping because there is no way to reposition the station without remapping.

So, I finally received my navimow i105e and set it up yesterday. Found a good spot for the dock, under a bush to shelter it somewhat, and close to my garage with power and high gps antenna mount option.
Biggest issue installing was keeping the gps and power wires in the right direction and knowing which was which.. Some arrows and some color coding perhaps ?? :D
Then last night afte finishing cutting down my entire yard to get rid of al the moss, it was time to start mapping.
Light had been green all day, all good.
Ofcourse i immediately wanted SW updates.. whats 15 more minutes..
Then good to go. I strated map creating, and did my fromt lawn and the side farthest away from antenna.
When it came time to save.. NO!!! Bad GPS signal. relocate antenna and dock.. WTF ?? im not moving anything, you move your freakin' satellites..
    Deleted and redid, same... fuuuuu..k..
3rd time though it went green and saved.
Called it a night and went to bed.
    '
Then today it was time to continue.
When i started the light was again blinking yellow indicating poor GPS, but it soon changed to green. and when i undocked it was blue again. Seems there are just some times of the day where GPS is worse than the rest. Hopefully the software is smart enough to detect this.
My official area is 900m2, but i had guesstimated that my grassed area is approx 500m2.
After mapping more and more areas, the total ended at 469m2.
I only had one area when mapping where it turned blinking yellow, hopefully it doesnt cause any issues.
So far my experience is A++++. This was plug and play in the meaning of the phrase.
My biggest issue is the base and wheens. har plastic on hard plastic is poor grip. I have mine at a slight upward angle, and it will at times spin. Will put down some anti slip tape if issue persists.

After a weeks of use I can say it works really well!
Nevertheless Improvements are required in the zone setup.
You can't make close or overlapping zones.
The app will automatically merge it into one zone.
This will prevent you to set different cutting directions and waste unnecessary time on some adjacent parts that won't be cut in a longitudinal direction.
Another point is as nice as setting cutting direction is I think it still needs to be more precise in order to have consistent straight lines.
Also as said in this review the obstacle detection is not good enough to leave smaller stuff in the garden.
If you have a dog it won't avoid poo and bones. Other toys should be avoided but I don't feel it is yet very reliable.
Last but not least, it poorly deals with slopes!
My previous Gardena sileno 750 did a much better job at it.
Be advised that 30% is only achievable in dry condition. But while it doesn't do well with slopes it manages to understand when it can't deal with it and doesn't get stuck.
Overall I'll give it an 8 out of 10.

I have i108e for about 10days. And i not happy. Setting it up was a nightmare (and i have plenty of open space), it can not get strong signal GPS what ever i do. Sudenly, it took GPS signal and it kind of work.
Cutting patterns are good, but avoiding obstacles is still a problem (also after update). I have a wooden well in the middle of the lawn. Without vision -fence -off, it avoid it from 30cm distance, which leads to 30cm wide stripe of uncut grass around the well. This MUST be sorted out ( adding optional sensitivity/borderline from object or maybe adding manual cutting mode, like RC car).
Also cutting is sometime very strange. One day it cuts very well all the place. But next day it wont cut certain spot withou reason (no obstacle there, also GPS was good). And next day it cuts again normaly.
In case of the app, it is not worst i seen, but maybe it will be usefull to see after finishing mowing paths of the mower in the mowing reports. Also, "mowed ours" is not important to me, i would ruther see starting and finishing time.
And i not getting any notifications from the app/mower at all (when it starts, when it finish...and yes, i have notificiation enabled for this app, checked 3 times). I had notification only once, whe it thinks i moved the base or antena, which i did not do, but that was it.
Over all, my favorite rating, 3,6, not bad not terrible. There is a plenty room of improvment.

When you lost GPS, how long did it take to fix it? Do you need to do anything like moving the Navimow manually? The Luba 2 has the same issues so I used the remote control function to return it to a location that has direct line of sight with the RTK/GPS antenna. I never need to carry it back to the charger unless the battery dies while waiting for positioning. Sometimes it takes 10+ min to correct the positioning errors when it's sitting under the RTK that's hanging off my 2nd floor door rail for my "future" deck.

@@Will-2BMorePositive I have i105E, and f**cking h*ll, I had the same issue, I mapped the areas and it shows which places are good for signal, you go with your magic wand on the spot and you get the message for weak signal, even tho it was 5 minutes ago strong on the spot, no clouds on the sky or anything that should block it.
Then I rage quit over 15 minutes of retrying it, I close the app for the 10th time or so, waited like 10 minutes just tried again and suddenly it says that everythings ok, good to go, rock and roll, then fast clicking next button before that f**ker desides that there is weak signal again.

I have a couple of questions about this: for an 800m2 lawn with narrow passages, is this (version 108) or the ecovax g1 better, in your opinion, having tried them both? the second question: if I needed to move it to a nearby meadow but without passage (therefore moving it by hand) is it possible? thanks if you want to answer me and congratulations again for the video!

Yes, i also tested the Ecovacs Goat G1: th-cam.com/video/Y74OP0CqN_M/w-d-xo.html
The biggest exclusion criterion in my eyes are the beacons that the Goat G1 requires. If you don't have a problem with them standing in the garden, then the Goat is also highly recommended.
If you have a lot of large trees and therefore a poor GPS signal, the Navimow probably has bigger problems than the Goat! :)
It is not yet possible to carry the mower to another zone. This will be made possible in the future through updates.
Currently, this is only possible with the Luba and the Landroid. :)

If the edge can be driven over, the robot can mow without edges. Unfortunately, this is not possible if there is a wall or protruding edge. Due to the fact that the blades are in the middle, an edge remains in this case, which must be mowed manually. As is unfortunately the case with most robots :/

Nice video! I installed one of these recently and I find the battery life on it is _awful_. My lawn is 500sqm so right at the upper limit of what they suggest this model can do. It took _ten_ full recharges to get through one pass of the lawn over two days. The most it seemed to get through on any one charge was about 50sqm so I have no idea why they suggest it can do 500sqm? It does a good job, but it seems very inefficient also as it only progress over a couple of inches on each pass so it ends up going back over ground it has covered a number of times. I would have expected it to move over the full width of the blades, or maybe leave some overlap. Have you noticed the same? Really curious if other users are experiencing the same problems. Thanks!

      @TechIllusion-EN  หลายเดือนก่อน

@johnsherlock954 Hello, and thank you for sharing your experience!
I can definitely agree with the point you mentioned that the battery is quite small. However, I have not noticed that the battery life is as extremely short as you mentioned, which surprises me a little.
Of course, it has to be said that the battery life depends on various factors such as the density and height of the grass, the number of obstacles and the gradient of the surface.
So you probably can't generalize the battery life.

I was looking for a GPS robot mower, but what I have read is they don’t work well when you have a smaller yard surround by tall trees. Plus my neighbor homes are only about 15’ to 20’ from my home which I also read causes problems. With the augmentation of the visual navigation can it work better where other GPS mowers would have problems 16:59 with GPS connectivity?

    • @TechIllusion-EN
      @TechIllusion-EN  หลายเดือนก่อน

@dh-no2ke Yes, that's right, GPS reception can be greatly reduced if there are a lot of tall trees. The robot then has difficulty orienting itself. The camera is only a backup in case the GPS signal fails. In the long term, navigation is therefore not possible on its own.
If the GPS signal is severely impaired, I would mount the receiver as high as possible on the building or possibly use the Mammotion Luba 2, as in my experience it has better reception. A video on this will follow in the next few days.

@@TechIllusion-EN What I think is needed to help people to decide even if a robot mower would work for their lawn is to show real examples of homes not suitable for GPS robot mowers and lawns which are suitable. Then explain why a particular example would not work, work, and/or the difference etc. From what I am getting from my research generally, most homes in older suburban areas would not work while more rural home are suitable. My understanding a mower which uses a wire, could work, but they mow kind of randomly, ‘not efficient” plus the cost and labor to bury the wire.
