Would the 1/8 model work okay for 4500ish square feet? It would just have to recharge mid cut, I am thinking. Or it not is the 1/4 model they way to go no mater what?
Great product it seems, but is it limited to the quick perimeter mapping you did as shown in the beginning of the video, or is it using it as a guideline and is it figuring out later, where the actual gras boundaries are ? Thanks for great review and showing us it's dog friendly ( except for the poop :) )
Good Video! I live in humid weather, rains almost every day, and St Augustine grass grows fast, typically mow every 4-5 days. Would this be a good choice? Also, does this sense rain, return to a covered base station, and charge?

Nice review. One question. Can you comment on the Segway requirement to install the base station at least 2m from building and/or trees and/or edge? This to me is a major drawback. Do I have to lay electric wires in the middle of my lawn? Thank you.
I've tested this and 1m away from the building is common because the machine itself needs to have line of sight to the sky for coordinates in your yard. I imagine 2 meters is recommended to keep them in the clear but i've been fine as long as it has clear line of sight to the sky. hope that helps.
I notice the mower disc is in the center. So how much "trimming" do I have to do around the perimeter? My dog is your dog's sister, completely useless also.
I noticed this too. Why would they do that?! They leave a lot of edging of you to do. This disk should one one side so it can do a loop to get the edges and then do they lines. Wasted opportunity.
I have the Luba 2 that uses a RTK/Antenna. I don't know if you tested that one and could do a comparison. Luba is amazing and all wheel drive (AWD)...you didn't mention how to do height adjustments unless I missed it, Luba also allows multiple zones that can overlap as you finish mapping, Luba 2 app gives you options you can set for different patterns of cutting along with angles to cut, and Luba allows you to watch your cutting process using the camera on the Luba 2 rather than attaching a go-pro to record the use. You never mentioned if you can use the camera for your own use. You never mentioned if you can change the cut height from the app either. Seems line Luba 2 is better *BUT* the latest firmware ruined the RTK signal for the Luba2 when it tries to cut the front of my house. It gives me a poor positioning error that pauses cutting. It says it was only 5% into the cutting process. I'll never finish cutting the front of my house using Luba 2 on their latest firmware (1.11.511.376). I can also manually mow using the bluetooth connection but need to walk behind the Luba 2 if I want to do that. I might as well buy a self propelled mower and do it myself. I'm sure the Navimow RTK/Antenna is just as sketchy with the signal since your video seems to show your unit way out in the yard. I'll buy this one but I'm 100% positive it'll be returned too. I'll keep buying and returning until an RTK becomes local to the actual device like a Kress mower (currently commercial use only). I'm spoiled with the features for Luba...but they need to work out the kinks, like allowing 2 RTK connections.
Good video. Did you test H series movers? I'm interested in H3000EVF. My teritory is huge and with a lot of trees+ pound. I m afraid that robot can sink...
Will this unit passed through a bi directional swing gate at the bottom of a fence? Some of the other robot mowers are able to push their way through. Or will the sensors not allow it?
Do you know how it will work in the fall when leaves are on the lawn? In your video, it looks like it goes right over them instead of chopping them up.

I noticed you drove a bit far from your borders during the initial set up, any reason for that? I would like it to mow as close to the border as possible to reduce string trimming
How did you set up the trampoline so it runs under? I was wondering if the posts would damage the blades if it crosses over them. I just ordered mine today.
I didn't do anything special. the sensors did there job very well. keep in mind even if the post damages a blade these blades are easily replaceable and should be replaced every 4 to 6 weeks .
Have you tried the H series? I just ordered one as it was on offer for almost the same price as the I series inclusive vision fence. But I have a little doubt whether I should have chosen the I series, H should be better quality, but it's no use if it runs worse and I come from Worx which always gets stuck when the lawn is just a little soft or there is a very small hill, then the wheel spins, so I wanted a new one that I wouldn't have to deal with every day.
I've got the same concerns. I've been using the Worx Lanroid WR155 which handles tall cutting heights (I think up to 4"), but it does use a perimeter wire. The wire breaks underground in a few spots every couple of years so replacing it is kind of an ongoing maintenance thing. It's not often but when it happens it's annoying enough for me to consider the newer models that don't need a perimeter wire.

So much worse then the word landroid. Edge cut is the best feature that I would not want to live with
😆
Lol. Worx supposedly cuts edges but can’t handle even gentle slopes. What’s the point. That mower will not exist in 2 years.
I hate my Landroid. Replaced with a Husqvarna now considering a luba 2 or this.
@@FoxyGrandma915 Me2 My Landroid gets stuck constantly and my garden is almost completely flat with only a very slight slope on one side, much less than it should be able to handle. But it spins constantly when it turns on the small slope and destroys the grass
The start up is not as easy as you say. Navimow has poor customer service. You did not mention that a boundary is required on the start up. Without the required boundary, you can set up a pattern, but it will not mow the pattern. I suggest any one looking at this morrow realizes that these videos are done often by people that have not purchased the machine. It is in their interest to give a positive review. I am not saying this is true of this video, but that is the nature reviews. A bad review can put you out of the review business. Buyer Beware, customer service is between poor and non existent.
