A word of advice for all. The OEM sensor is 1/8 BSPT vs 1/8 NPT. Cutting hairs here, but it is highly recommended not to force it or you'll damage the threads. Be safe, and use a 1x male 1/8 BSPT to 1x female 1/8 BSPT by 1x female 1/8 NPT tee adapter. Alternatively, there is an M18 galley plug on top of the FA24 block left of the compressor. Purchase an M18x1.5 to 1/8 NPT adapter and run your new sensor from there.
@JcM944 yeah it's just easier to go off the top oil galley and use an M18x1.5 to 1/8 NPT. No having to mess around with the front fighting a cramped up position.
I'd like to seea gauge that is built into a trim piece, something discreet but easily readable of course, that will give it an oem+ feel, if it was less of a cylinder and more of a window in the trim that would look nice!
I'm definitely in the market for a kit made for the VB WRX because I have a Perrin Top Mount Oil Cooler for my 2022 WRX and need something like this to regulate my oil pressures. Please lmk if you decide to make a kit for this IAG!
What I don't understand is why there isn't one on the car as standard, or the ability to plug a sensor into the canbus, and add it to the massive display in the car.
Agreed, it would be a great feature to have from the factory! The stock “sensor” is more like a switch and comes on when oil pressure is below 2.1 PSI which is way too late 🙃
I've never had a sports/performance car that didn't have an oil psi gauge on it OE. Is this a tradition with WRXs to only have an oil temp but no psi gauge? Seems dumb not to have both with a turbo car.
My theory for why my new 2025 Forester doesn’t have an oil pressure gauge is: Subaru knows that their upside down easy to access oil filters drain back down and become empty so upon starting the motor there is about 5-6 seconds of no or very little oil pressure. They know this is bad so they hide it!!!

They sell one on IIR, ordering rn
Came here to confirm this lol. Wasted the time and effort only to have the NPT T connector not fit.

@@MotoMadness66 Hate to ask but where is galley plug you're talking about? I'm seeing a lot of M18 screws haha
@JcM944 face the engine. Look at your compressor on your left hand side. Just inside to your right of the compressor. Big silver m18 plug with a hex.

Something sleek and OEM+ would be ideal.
Happy to see these amazingly edited videos and clear instructions! Keep it up
Glad you like them 🙂
YES!!!! Please make a gauge pod!
Def. A good looking gauge pod for this will be a hot sale. Hope next summer there will be one! Wrx going to sleep for winter.
Not a lot of options out there at the moment. But if enough people have interest in one maybe we can make a better one? 🤔
Yeahhh. I've been waiting for an oil pressure gauge kit. What's the link for the T-connection?

Do those fuse taps fit in the whole way? I see that the new wrx's fuse boxes have the fuses recessed in now.
They do, just didn't show that part on camera ;)
Love the install content!
Is the galley plug to the left of the compressor a viable solution for oil pressure?
Do you know of any good mods to make more power on a 2024 Outback XT?
Great video I like to see a complete kit.😅
Thanks for watching ✌️
Awesome I was just looking on how to do this can you let me know the part number for the T adapter or the size?
We used a 1/8" NPT T fitting which can be found on Amazon: www.amazon.com/Sided-Brass-Female-Intersection-Fitting/dp/B013NV32N4
Thank you!!!
@@theiagchannelthis is the wrong adapter it is a npt thread the oil pressure gauge is actually bspt thread
Has anyone found a different gauge pod or one at all I can't find anything like this
There are 4 wires down there. What do the White and Brown/blue ones do?
Those send signal to aftermarket ECUs which we didn’t need
Will prbly buy either way, but would like a cleaner guage pod. I have some -40 testing to do.
Link is in the description! They are in stock on our website
What about a wideband air/ fuel ratio gauges? Wouldn’t it be beneficial as-well for the 22+ wrx ?
Yes since June!
WHy locktight on the threads and not a small amount of RTV?
That’s Loc-Tite brand thread sealer, not thread locker.
Please do make a better fitting and looking gauge pod. Also noted please share more updates on the staged blocks please.....
Noted, thanks for the feedback!
Can I plug in both temp and pressure sensor in this fitting?
Yes, you could.
Ok yeah yeah cool
How much power does the car make
It’s the only question we have
Besides how much does it cost
It should be going on the Dyno soon to get a pro-tune!
Y'all making a fa24 for the BRZ/GR86 as well?
It’s on our “to do” list!
What do I do with the white and blue wire?!!??
Those are for stand alone ECUs, you don’t need them for what we are doing.
I'd like to add an oil psi gauge to my '22. I'll keep looking for one that is more discrete and fits in with the interior better.
At least this should help you hook everything up!

@@jamespatrick5930 as far as I am aware, they do not drain back in the manner you described. They have valving to stop this.
Gauge pod please
Noted!
I need yall to install on my 17 STi
You got this :)
do one for the 22+ brz ! since they need it lol
Install process should be pretty similar
You should contact us maybe we can hook you up with the best gauge pod available for the VB wrx
