Another thing that saves you money eating carnivore is that you don't have to keep a huge cabinet of expensive supplements.

      Definitely a big point here

@@ancestralhealing In addition to pills, powders, and potions, people who eat carbs end up spending money on all kinds of things that are not generally covered by health insurance such as chiropractic and acupuncture treatments for stiffness and pain, CBD creams for joint pain, and all kinds of skin care products for dry skin, and conditioners for brittle hair. None of that stuff is cheap.
Personally, I also save money by not needing a gym membership to stay in shape. I walk my dog, hike, go surfing in the summer, and bang out an occasional set of pushups against the kitchen counter and I maintain muscle mass and tone just fine.

That's the honest truth and personally, my lab work improvements without anything more than a quality multivitamin have been astounding- even my primary care physician is amazed.

@@tenfodaddy4351 You really don't even need the multi. Most of that is getting flushed anyhow.

It's absolutely been a savings. It's really surprising how much we spent on large amounts of ancillary ingredients, rice, pasta, sugars, vegetables and fruits that were so costly by weight- almost a much per ounce as beef/chicken/fish!!!!!! Crazy!! Plus we do enjoy cooking as a family so we'd end up with a lot of ingredients for a particular series of items for a meal and then was difficult to use it all or it would be unappealing 2-3 days in a row. With carnivore, our grocery bill, rated as a daily basis, we've cut our grocery bill by a full 50% and on some months 60-65%. The cost of things you take for granted that got tossed in a cart was staggering. Also you nailed it so well at 3:39, was our family literally eats, and feels satiated, with only 1-2 meals a day versus three. We also tried (and failed) at that "eat 5-7 times a day fruits, grains vegetables"... we were starving, hangry, moody, and over-ate. With carnivore, prime example was today, we eat once and almost forget about it. I had six soy free, pasture-raised lightly poached eggs, some organic/minimal filler/no sugar/no soy sausage that was cooked with uncured thick bacon. I ate that this morning and never got hungry again. About two hours ago, I had some home-made, soy-free turkey jerky and I barely wanted that. Drank MUDWTR this morning and then some iced green tea, water and a Coke Zero (I'll never give that up- I like the taste, I like the bubbles and I only drink the Coke Zero mini cans- one with a bunch of ice. So long, long story short- you do save a LOT of money on the Carnivore Diet and I was a 283lb corporate desk guy for 25 years. This turned me around and I've gone from full Type II diabetic to a pre-diabetes level. Hit blood sugar of 129 today after years in the 200's. I'm lucky to be here and have all my legs, arms, etc. PS We live in the San Antonio/Austin area of Texas and HEB is our main grocery store and they carry a LOT of great things supporting carnivore diets- go figure their butcher shop section is five times the size of stores I've seen in other parts of the country, plus do a great job of soy-free, non-GMO, organic products. Love HEB.

I go when the meat is on clearance or half price sale. My two favorite stores have them on clearance when they open. I buy extra and freeze .

I don't know the Ancestral Healing team or have any connections, but I encourage everyone to support them with a Super Thanks donation. I also support KenDBerry MD and Dr. Sten Ekberg's channels- those along with Ancestral Healing are a fantastic combination and if you need support, or are trying to encourage loved ones, you play some clips from all three and you'll be successful. I love Ancestral Healing's down-to-Earth touch, and it has especially helped some 20-somethings in our family that needed their way of sharing knowledge to get them to try some things to improve their health. Nice to have Dr. Berry and Ekberg as backups when you need more hard clinical support, but Ancestral Healing... you are the best!!!
