I was 385lbs 10 years ago. Lost about 100 over the years doing martial arts and such. Wasn’t until I started eating carnivore until I really got my proper body weight back. Without lose hanging skin. I’m currently 215lbs. 6’3” 53 years old. Autoimmune disorder that I had for years is now gone no more meds for that. For anyone wondering just start eating meat and eggs in butter with some bacon and you won’t regret it. I now eat some carbs but never eating sugar again. Xylitol is a great substitute but it will disrupt Ketosis.
Amazing work and discipline my friend! You deserve to enjoy every moment of your new life after your transformative journey back to wellness! How inspiring!🤗
I’m very interested in your story. I’m about to start carnivore to see how my autoimmune response is. I’ve given myself 10 weeks to see if it makes any difference. I’m due to start the process to begin using humoron mid February and I’m really hoping I see an improvement in my condition before I have to commit to a lifetime of medicine
@@richardpaterson3116 i've read where some do not start seeing the benefits until 90 days in. Maybe give yourself a little longer. I also have an autoimmune disorder and wanting to do this diet. Good luck to you!
I was listening to another podcast that said eating red meat increases your risk of diabetes. I answered that red meat does not cause diabetes and my fasting insulin level was 5.2 Someone else answered that per the Harvard School it increases it by 68%. I answered back, I am almost 70, eating red meat all my life and I am still waiting on becoming a diabetic. No more response. 😂
The goal was always to scare you with lies that would prevent you from ever trying a carnivore diet. In my case they have failed miserably because I feel great with endless energy and I'm 73.
Harvard published a study in October re carnivore bemefits and a huge success they reported was for diabetes!! All people lmeds went off I think and every saw an improvement!!
I am 84 , 311 days on carnivore. Lowered blood pressure, pain in knees gone, arthritis in fingers gone, sleeping great , lost 27 lbs. I eat 4eggs and 3pieces of bacon, steak or tri tip for dinner with butter.. A1C down
Good going, Barbara. Having a hard time getting my doctor on board but finally took me off of one BP Rx. I won't stop eating this way. Not having the cravings is wonderful. Many years of better health to all of us.❤😊
With the gut issues were you taking any supplements? I'm carnivore and using broccoli sprouts , phgg and GOS . They help with constipation on carnivore
Yup, I tossed out the vegetarian diet the 7th Day Adventist MD brainwashed me into at 30 and the next 45 yrs. A diagnosis of the Autoimmune & Menopause hell with screaming pains of 24/7 AS arthritis. Her predictions: for the rest of your life you will take....Hilariously, that was all I needed to shove the finger in her face and started seeking foods as medicine. From All Greens Patterson diet I ranged to Arthritis Health Canada diet to Autoimmune Health Canada advice...to land on Carnivore, after keto helped somewhat. Now 5 yrs in as carnivore I am almost completely balanced. No pains since I started meats, revised my minds positions and ignorance to face my made up blood phobia/gross feelings to learn how to cook meat best and love my multiple freedoms that eating a Strict Carnivore diet. I love my Meats and fats 60-40 for me; but the Gates- Extinctionist globalists WEF death advice can go straight to hell of their own making. As if they even eat Bugs, never spew CO2 (they are punishing us the innocent with ) and guess what, yeah they always think of our well being and believe in telling the truth always!
I am carnivore now for over 12 months and it has cured many issues associated with inflammation. Gums stopped bleeding, ankles stopped hurting in mornings, back ache gone, neck ache gone, sleep much better, stopped snoring, clearer mind, happier, no gas, skin improved and skin tags went away. There are more benefits ..........its been a fantastic journey.
A team of researchers at Loma Linda University in the United States has shown vegetarian men live for an average of 10 years longer than non-vegetarian men - 83 years compared to 73 years. For women, being vegetarian added an extra 6 years to their lives, helping them reach 85 years on average.
Hoping for a great result for you! I was diagnosed with IBD 8 months ago. Nothing was working, the steroids stopped the bleeding but all other symptoms continued to get worse. I'm 1 month into a carnivore diet and so far the results are promising. After 3 days I had my first solid poop in like 6 months. Bloating gone, weird gurgling stomach gone, general upset stomach gone. I still have a bit of urgency when I need to poop and occasionally have a small bit of mucus shortly after. Coming from where I was though is night and day in the difference. Still early days and have alot of healing to do but hoping for the best, hoping for the best for you too!
Thank you. 77 and on day 2. Just the idea of doing this is rather exciting. Now day 5. Had some strange issues, but now have an aversion to my previous diet. Now day 6 and I've lost my appetite. Not hungry at all. Tummy has settled down. Feeling great compared to b4. Now day 14 and had a couple of bad days but starting to feel the benefits. Walked further today than I have in years. Felt energy coming back. 👍 Day 15 -18 went down. Low blood sugar. Hypoglycemic symptoms. Experimenting with myself as I try to fix this. 🙄😜 Day 19 added a very small piece of pumpkin and potato to fatty roast lamb and blood sugar came back to normal. 😥 Day 20 assessing what to keep and what to minimise, and when, leading up to full carnivore again by day 30.
You can do this!!! I’m 5 weeks in, and the photos shown on this video like donuts, fries, and pasta actually gave me an aversion reaction. I don’t even miss them, and this said by a former foodie-hardly any food I didn’t like. Though I am only about 10-15 pounds over my ideal weight, I have a number of health problems I am hoping to resolve. Best wishes to you!
I ate carnivore last year for 7 months. I felt great. Lost 20 lbs. No more skin problems and Seborrheic dermatitis, no more heart burn, no more high blood sugar issues, no more cravings, no more high blood pressure, no more sore joints and walking carefully down the stairs! (I'm 50 yrs old) Then, during halloween season, I ate one piece of chocolate. Come Christmas I gained 15 lbs back and felt sick and tired again. So, I don't want to go off of carnivore again. I've been back on it for 2 and 1/2 weeks again and feeling so much better. I've lost 5 lbs already and I can't believe how much better I feel and look. My face looks like I lost 20 lbs already. I'm definitely a sugar addict and need to keep listening to these videos and reading about the benefits of carnivore to stick with it. They are like my 12 step meetings for sugar! Thank you so much Dr. Berry. I'm so grateful! 😀
Same here. I told myself two thanksgivings ago " I think its ok to eat what I want to on holidays" I have been struggling to stay on carnivore ever since. People don't let your brain lie to you. Stay away from the garbage food. There is no benefit whatsoever.
My friend was just diagnosed with cancer at the left base of his tongue. The nutritionist came in with a list of ingredients he can use to make smoothies. The foods were all carbs, sugary fruits, grains, and seeds. Recommendations included low protein, no fats, and fibrous veggies. This is the advice Adventist Health nutrition "experts" are giving to their cancer patients. When I stated that sugars feed cancer cells, she dismissed it as being without basis. I gave her back the list and we asked her to leave the exam room. 🤦🏻♀️
Sounds like Keto Chow Core (the beef protein version) shake mix might be something that could be used for your friend. Perhaps you already know about it...
@@monicacollins8289 Why does the 'medical system' recommend & supply the worst meals to its patients? This is awful. This is wrong. If you're in hospital you should be fed 'Healing, healthy' food, not food that feeds cancer & inflammation!
After a couple years of menopause symptoms,I suddenly became pregnant at 44 Dr berry!! What?! It's all your fault😂 well, partially. My husband had a massive heart attack in July. We immediately became serious and went full carnivore. By October we were feeling A LOT BETTER. hes better than he was before the heart attack. And now , me, a grandmother of 3, is pregnant. 😂
I’m 76. Hadn’t had any libido at all for maybe 10 years. While eating mostly vegan. After several months doing carnivore, all of sudden, whoa, what’s that!? 😂 And it got rid of my pain from RA. It’s been 2 yrs now. Yay!
Milestone met: I started carnivore 6 days ago, thanks to you guys. Today, after 35+ years, I ate scrambled eggs. I have had a psychological aversion to eggs most of my life, but my brain is now apparently shifting with determination to get healthy! ❤
Fry some cut up bacon in the pan and then dump eggs in and scramble them all together. This has been my craving for the last week. Don't pour out any of the bacon fat.
Yay!!! 👏 You've got this! Eggs are so good for you! And if you used salt and a little bit of heavy cream, whip it up before scrambling in bacon grease or butter, they'll taste really good! 👌
I lost 90lbs in 2021 listening to you! I am healthy and feel like I got my life back and have kept the weight off for the 1st time in my life at 53. Thank You 🎉❤.
It’s actually a very weak and illogical argument. I’m all for the carnivore diet but I will point out bullshit when I see it. A “Dr” saying that is just ridiculous.
2 plus years carnivore now. Decided to go strict lion diet for the month of January. 17 days in now, and feeling amazing! I have had my labs checked every 6 months for the last 2 years, and its amazing to me that they just keep getting better and better! I reversed type 2, high blood pressure, fatty liver, low testosterone, autoimmune issues, and came off of all medications. My cholesterol actually came down. Which was weird to me. But I know it can have the opposite effect on some. I think the reason is because carnivore meets us where the person is in relation to how much damage we have done to ourselves individually. Which is why some of us loose weight faster than others, and why labs can vary to some degree. I use to not be able to walk more than 2k steps in a day, and it was extremely painful to do it. I would have to use mobility scooters to get around with my family when we would go to places like Disney. I can now walk upwards of 30k steps in a day, and I am fine. I will be 50 years old in July of this year, and am going to Q school for the PGA to play professional golf! Finding YT videos like these with Dr. Berry, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Baker, talking about Carnivore, no doubt about it SAVED MY LIFE! and a little side note... It also saved my mothers life. She was stage 4 CKD, and now after a little more than a year, has kidney function in the 90% range verified by nephrologist and labs. She was either going to need a kidney transplant/ dialysis or die due to kidney failure. But took a chance on the diet that I was talking to her so much about, and had helped me. Shes now healthier than she has been in a long time. Meat heals.
I had the same experience with my Cholesterol. It used to be 189 on SAD; ketovore pushed it to 378. But after 2 years of Carnivore it dropped to 275, which was amazing to me since I ate pounds of meat & fat. My body had a ton of healing it needed to go through. My weight is finally stable and I'm stronger at almost 63 than I've ever been my whole life. My young adult kids can't keep up with me! 😄
Perhaps not anymore but I strongly suspect because I've seen it numerous times that carnivore dieters were previously on the SAD diet and no great surprise that when they cut out processed junk they solve some of their health issues. It's really no surprise because what you were eating before was so shit, lol and my original comment was directed to the op, not you but it works on 90% of you people as you've already admitted to eating SAD.
Starting carnivore diet was the best decision I’ve ever made. My constant snacking has stopped My inflammation has decreased so much I still can’t believe the results. I sleep better My energy is amazing But more importantly I feel fantastic!
3 months later I still haven’t had the urge to snack, energy levels have become stable, still no inflammation, feeling great, I do struggle with eating meat somedays but I just change the type of meat and it quickly goes away.
4 yrs on Keto, 7 weeks on carnivore. I’m 6’3”, 61 yrs and in amazing shape! I’ve lost and am keeping off 100lbs(310 to 210). I’ve also come off of all my “fat old guy meds”.😊The Carnivore way of eating is leaning me out and plumping up my muscles. Some regular physical activity accentuates the metabolic and psychological benefits! Thanks for being a wonderful health coach Dr. Berry!😊
That's great news! I'm only on day 11 myself and already seeing a change and loving it. EXCEPT for one thing... black coffee in the morning. I miss it, and I was wondering if other carnivors still enjoy it, or should I stay away?
@@chrisjenn226 I just started watching some of Dr.Berry's videos and so far I like him. I guess I haven't seen that video where he says he drinks coffee or may have missed it, but thank you for the feedback. I believe in the morning I'm going to have me a cup of black coffee!
He did stop drinking it for awhile but I believe started drinking it again he does say you can drink it though I actually switched to decafe only 1 every day or 2 day feel much better
@tatianesoarespereira I started with keto, and cut out all ultraprocessed food. After a few months my carbs dropped basically to zero and I ate steak, ground beef, eggs, bacon, lamb, and sardines.
@tatianesoarespereira I also eat avocado and cheese from time to time. For fats I use butter and ghee, lard, tallow and coconut oil sometimes. And I always save the fat when I cook bacon 🥓 😋
I went LCHF WOE in 2019 & I believe it saved my life. I will be 81 on aug. 21 2014 and have zero pains. I dropped 100 lbs. off my old carcass . I get 100 grams minimum animal protien daily. I also eat a very very small amount veggies. I maintain 170 lbs wt. and am 5 ft. 8 in tall. I exercise a little & pedal my trike all over town. I may kick the bucket tomorrow but am living and enjoying life
February 6 will be a year for me!!! I love how God had me stumble upon one of your videos and from that day He’s had me on this new journey with Him!!! I will always remember what He said a month into this, “not only am I healing the outside but I am also healing the inside out too” I stand by that promise throughout this journey!!! I used to be in sooooo much pain with food… now I don’t!!! Praise God and thank you Dr Berry for sharing your testimony and wisdom!! Forever grateful!! ❤🎉
One other thing God said to me 2 weeks into this new journey with Him was “you can be spiritually fit and that’s a weapon.. but when you become spiritually fit and physically fit NOW THAT’S A WEAPON!!” 👏🏻🙌🏻 We are for sure VICTORIOUS through Him!! God for sure gets all the Glory!!! Hallelujah!!
My husband and I have been on a mostly carnivore diet for 3 months now. We do eat a small amount of garlic, onions, and avocado. The benefits are impressive. High energy, restful sleep, enhanced mental focus, almost no joint pain, skin improvements, weight loss, good mental state. My husband no longer has acid reflux and doesn't need to take his medication. I usually have asthma attacks every day in the winter. I haven't had even one for more than 2 months now. I haven't had to use my light box for my seasonal affective disorder. I'm 76 and the only medication I am taking is pig thyroid. Our food bill has gone down because we don't purchase any processed food and don't eat snacks. We eat two meals a day and IF from 6 PM to 10 am. No cravings. We said we would try it for 3 months. With all the benefits we have experienced so far we won't stop now. We are grateful to have come across the proper human diet.❤
I just realized I have not used my inhaler for 3 days...I usually was gasping for that inhaler every morning and night. So happy to see its demise.Have only been on Carnevore for 3 weeks. It is truly a miracle, plus lost 3 dress sizes. I am 74. Good wishes to you and your husband, Gabby from NZ.❤
Happy to hear for you! But man that wasn’t the case for me, I was almost lion for 9 month and depression and anxiety got worse for me. I honestly think being that strict didn’t help me.
I started carnivore 3 days ago. I ate my breakfast at 10:30. I didn't get hungry until 5 pm. I am weaning myself off all other foods. It has been going well.
You’ll notice after a few days that your body will start flushing the bad things. DON’T WORRY: YOU’RE NOT SICK! After 2 weeks, you’ll feel like a new person! Oh and don’t worry if you’re not hungry for longer periods either. Your body will tell you when to eat. The sweet spot is 1-2 solid meals per 24h cycle.
10:30 seems quite the norm. I have ham and eggs ant 10.30. Second breakfast at 12.00 - usually a pound of beef (burgers or mince or similar). By 8 or 9pm I can usualy just about neck a ribeye steak, but sometimes I fail to finish it lol. It's crazy how satiated and full you feel.
@@MikeAndNaryI'm curious to know too. Personally, I had a weight stall for over a month. Last weekend I ate an absolute **** ton of carbs in the form of packets of indo noodles. In the space of 4 days I dropped 14 lbs!!! I was just constanty P***ing it out. Back to only meat and am back losing 4lb over a week. 12lbs to go untill I reach my goal. I'm off all meds too which is an amazing bonus. Start weight 20 stone. End weight should be around 14.5 stone.
Hey Doc, I finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired. Been overweight my whole life, psoriasis, and many other issues. It's day 1, thanks for all your info and encouragement.
Stick with it!!! You will sometimes feel WORSE before you get better. Cravings are hard. Keep something like hard boiled eggs available for when you are craving sugar and need something quick to fight the craving. But you WILL feel better!!! Keep us updated!!! You've got this!
I'm 67 years old, female with my blood pressure at 170/110 for the past several years. Started carnivore 7 days ago and my bp has reduced every single day. Imagine my surprise today when it was 121/85. My arthritis is much improved, my severe knee pain on day #5 has completely vanished. My dry eyes are much improved. My weight is down 8 lbs.
I'm in my 6th week of carnivore and i love it. All aches and pains from old injuries are gone. My balance has improved as well when i noticed that i could put on my pants standing up the other day. I lost about 14 pounds after week 4, but seemed to have plateaued, at the moment. I'm also bursting with energy with my workouts. Mental clarity and a calm and relaxed mind are a bonus, too. I'm sticking with this for a while.
My grocery bill dropped by ⅔. My shopping trip dropped by the coordinating amount of time also! Meat, dairy and out! Gotten so much time back also! Cleaning up my kitchen, preparing meals. Omad and 2mad, has given me back so many hours! And time is money so I've also gotten it back in that form.@@suzannecarrier287
@@suzannecarrier287 No bc I only eat 2 meals/day and I don't buy snack food. If you calculate cost per pound of cookies, chips, etc., they cost more price wise and health wise. No longer needing meds have saved me $120/month, which I now use to buy meat. No longer needing deodorant, expensive dental paraphernalia, and expensive lotions & potions to mask acne and other skin conditions have saved me a small fortune. That savings goes to my meat. I don't buy bottled beverages anymore. I no longer patronize restaurants so that money goes toward my meat. I shop sales, buy in bulk, and cut my own meat. I've learned how to cook cheaper cuts of meat so I don't feel a need to eat ribeye or other expensive steaks for every meal. It's entirely doable.
I am coming up on being vegan for 8 yrs now and I am just not feeling it anymore, I think lately my body does not like starch. such as rice, potatoes, pasta. I am now putting on weight, feel lazy and sometimes kinda foggy! My tummy aches at night now, so I am thinking of introducing meat back into my diet and transitioning over to the carnivore diet without the dairy. I am going to give myself about 6 months to slowly switch over, Thanks for your video!
Hey Dr. Berry, just a quick note to thank you for all of your hard work in helping people out. I've put your advise into practice and am amazed at the results. I'm 5'7" and went from 235 lbs down to 212 lbs in less than a month. I'm primarily eating a carnivore diet with the occasional avocado or glob of peanut butter (I love peanut butter). I have transitioned to eating only once a day, and the transformation in how I feel is remarkable. Here are some of the improvements I've experienced in such a short span of time: significant weight loss, a notable reduction in joint pain, liberation from depression and anxiety, no more sleep apnea, a surge in energy levels, clearer skin, a substantial drop in blood sugar levels from an average of 14 to around 5, a gradual decrease in blood pressure, a shift from constant overheating to minimal sweating, and heightened mental clarity. Thank you once again for your exceptional contributions to the well-being of others! Keep up the good work!!!
I started this diet (life style) on 2 Jan and love it! I have lost 10-15 pounds since I stared. I had type 2 diabetes until 3 days ago, my blood sugar is now below 100! I had acid reflux for years, it has gone away! I’m 60 years old, wish, this is a life saver! Wife started yesterday!
Well I’ve been an observer for quite awhile . Started ketovore 1-1-24. So far I’ve lost 10 #. Blood pressure has dropped from 150-180 over 85-110 to 115/80 consistently. Pulse has dropped from 80-95 to high 60’s. Bad knees have improved immensely. I was skeptical, now I’m amazed. For me variety is paramount. I eat eggs hard boiled, fried and made a pizza crust from an egg and coconut flour etc. meats have included hard salami, liver sausage, chuck roast beef stew, steak etc. Because of the variety I believe that I can do this long term. Thanks Ken
I don't do dairy, so no pizza for me, but apparently if you put some cooked chicken in a food processor with an egg and a bit of cheese, you can flatten it out and bake it for a plant-free pizza crust.
Thank you Dr Berry!! Almost four months carnivore! Every day is a blessing!!! No more fatty liver, diabetes or diverticulitis!! Lost over thirty pounds and counting down!! No more bursitis, bleeding gums, arthritis!! For me it's carnivore for life!!
I just want to say thank you for putting out these videos. Your plain and simple explanations and no-nonsense delivery are really very much appreciated and you have helped me so much on my road back to regaining my health. Which is why I thought I would share my journey with you and anyone else who might be interested enough to read. For so many years I followed the recommended " Standard Western Diet" based on the Food Pyramid that the health department put out there. Which was largely based on research that was funded by the U.S. sugar, grain growers and other farming organizations. During that time my health slowly deteriorated to the point where I had gained so much weight, had difficulty moving around and ended up having a mini stroke, which has messed up my balance and vision. This time last year I was 130kg, pre diabetic, had high blood pressure, underactive thyroid, psoriasis, sciatica, fatty liver and inflammation. On December 1st 2022, my 65th birthday, I cut out all sugar, grains, seed oils and alcohol. I switched to the carnivore diet. Following your recommendations, I now only eat meat, fish, eggs and other unprocessed animal products such as liver, kidneys, hearts, and giblets etc. Apart from onion, garlic and a few spices for flavouring, I do not eat any fruit or vegetables at all. I don't count calories and eat as much as I want, (usually around 1 - 1.5kg) until I have had enough. When my brain says I've had enough I stop eating and only eat again when I feel hungry. As it has turned out for me, I only eat once a day, during a one-hour window around midday and I no longer have any cravings for snacks in between. As of this morning I am now down to 94kg, which is a loss of 36kg and all of the above conditions are gone. I feel more like I did when I was in my 30's and 40's, my bloodwork and blood pressure are pretty well spot on and I now enjoy getting out and about, going for long walks, a bit of fishing and other activities. My balance and vision issues are still there from the stroke but I am able to cope with that well enough. Thanks once again for all your advice toward regaining a better life. I wish everyone all the very best of luck in finding their own way to better health and a longer life. Kindest regards to everyone.
Your kind and humble spirit radiates in your writing. I wish you the very best in your life. I pray for a complete recovery from the effects of your stroke.
@@andyc7747yeah, I’m severely addicted, I’m going with the all-in approach. I know if I tell myself I’ll ween off of sugar and carbs, I’ll never do it. I appreciate your response!
You saved my life. Three weeks ago I had heart problems - extrasistoles, arrhytmia, my heart was pounding like a drum, skipping, for entire days. I ended up in the ER, since then I've done a blood panel, thyroid full panel and a heart ultrasound, EKG and carrotid doppler. I've started carnivore last April and due to some very stressful times (death in family, new job) I slipped some, but managed to go down 45 pounds. The heart problems were conclusively of mental stress origin, but the doctor said losing that weight and getting my organism in a better state probably made this 10x less of a problem for the entire body. My heart is strong and all parameters in order. My LDL is in the upper normal range, HDL higher than before, triglyicerides almost non existent, blood sugar and insulin normal, electrolites normal, blood pressure 126/82, resting heart beat 65, no plaque whatsoever in the carrotids........ thyroid T4/T3/TSH/peroxidase/anti-G all normal... liver hormones all good except for GGT, which is also down from what it was (fatty liver)... No anemia! Been anemic for most of my life. They all wondered how an overweight person such as me (used to be 260 pounds), at 42, has better bloodwork and hormones than someone 20 years younger. If I'd been the way I was it might not have gone this well for me. Thank you! I'm back on track, doing great and one of the most incredible things I've experienced is NO MORE CONSTANT DAILY HEADACHES and much better sleep. Those things were killing me. Constant painkillers and exhaustion from not sleeping well. You start to notices things getting better in the first few weeks you didn't even know were bad, cause they've been so bad you forgot about it. I eat grass fed beef, some port, bacon, eggs, fresh fatty fish, ghee, pork fat, tallow, ocassionally some hard ripe cheese and homemade kefir, long fermented.
I am a 16 year old boy, I was, at my fittest, 155 lbs lean and muscular during wrestling season last year, gained some weight after to 170 which is kinda normal after season so I’m still healthy at 170, but I broke both my arms in a lifting accident, and gained 35 lbs because I couldn’t do anything and was steal eating the American diet ish, then once I was healed I was 205 lbs and feeling sluggish and terrible, lasted for a while and tried to fix it but cutting calories did nothing and was just discouraging, then, after visiting a friend, he told me about carnivore from Joe Rogan and asked me to look into it cause he saw I got fat. I did, tbh I was really skeptical, but tried it, I’m not gonna lie, the first two weeks were really hard and discouraging, diarrhea, headaches, cravings, hunger, but… getting past it was amazing, my skin is cleared up, sleep is nicer, I no longer crave sugar, only meat, I’ve lost almost 18 damn lbs in 4 1/2 weeks after starting, and have clarity of mind. I feel healthier then ever, my plan is to eat like this preferably for ever, and this is, tbh, how all humans should try to eat, I have strayed from it every once in a while but always get on track and it isn’t too damaging, but overall, it is amazing.
-70 lbs in 13 weeks spoke for itself to my relatives at Christmas. (BTW, I did a couple of "cheat days" to eat normal holiday meals, and between the insulin and BP spikes I could literally HEAR my pulse after eating. Couldn't wait to get back on track!)
I started 9 days ago carnivore and have doing great. I am eating 1MAD because I eat until I feel good and have not cheated or felt hungry until my dinner time at 6pm. I found myself with more energy than I have had in years. I look forward to healing my body from so many issues and can't wait to get off the meds!!! I have never been so excited to get healthy before. And carnivore makes it so easy. Thank you Dr. Berry
when I was carnivore, I was healthy. Before carnivore, I had PCOS, I was borderline Diabetic. I had bad body odor, I had athletes food that would not go away. I didn't ovulate on my own, I had to take clomid to get pregnant with my daughters. I did carnivore for 3 months. I lost 65 pounds over 100 inches off my body. My PCOS was gone. I ovulated on my own and got pregnant with my son. I had A1C of 4.0. My body odor was gone, My feet healed up. I got pregnant and meat and eggs made me so sick. So I had to go back to eating fruit veggies etc. I am now going to go back to carnivore and hope to get back to being healthy. and maybe have one more baby. I just turned 40 years old. My son is 18 months old.
Dr Berry, I would like to thank you. I found you around March 2023 and in May 2023 I switched to a carnivor diet. I'm a 51 year old English truck driver and I was 20.2 stone( 282lbs) I'm now 14.10 stone (197lbs) and feel better at 51 than I ever did at 31. I feel younger and look younger. I was also on antidepressants that I no longer take. I was either prediabetic or type 2 it was so close. My cholesterol levels are now below the UK average and my A1c is 5.3. Without stumbling across one of your TH-cam videos I would still be in the same place I was and struggling to get off the couch. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will never go back to the way I used to eat, its now a PHD for the rest of my life. Thank you.
Been on a meat heavy ketogenic lifestyle for 5 years now and still love this way of eating. I reversed my IBS,stomach ulcer, mood swings gone, eczema gone and lost 93 pounds! I’m 53 and feel amazing 🤩
6 months carnivore. Gut fixed, lost almost 70 pounds, high BP is almost completely fixed. So many problems, pain etc. 80% better already. Keep preaching, Doc! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
i just was eating lamb and bacon and cheddar cheese..yummy, lost 28 kg on carnivore and no prediabetic anymore and feeling strong and stable..depression gone, so many opportunities lately and that is thanks to consistent fasting and carnivore...mental clarity is strong...was part of a organisation before that promoted veganism and gained 30 kg and was so sick and the people there also was very strict and sick vegan...sending lots of love to all that embrace a meat diet..its powerful once you get the hang of it!!
I've been eating zero carb for 6 years. My sis went through cancer treatment last year and has had bad joint pain ever since. I finally convinced her to try cutting out carbs...just for a month, and in 3 days, her joint pain has gone.
I was stuck at 210 Lbs for about 2 years eating a “well balanced diet” of lean meats, plants and carbs and always felt hungry, tired and miserable ! On carnivore diet for 1 month and 2 weeks and down to 191 lbs ! And I have never felt better !! High Energy ! Good mood ! Appetite always satisfied ! Best decision I have made ! Thank you sir for true facts !
Did my annual VA physical exam blood draw today. Looking forward to the results. Year 3 of paleo low carb diet and activity. Stable weight, feel great and strong, 68 years old. Better shape than the 40 year old me. You ROCK, DR. KEN!!💪👍
do you use MyHealthEVet online? I check it daily until results are posted, but what I've found is the A1c is its own lab and never shows the results, it shows the test, but no results. Last month I called the nurse and had them look it up June 2022, today 5.2 and all my labs are great. The VA even did a cardio calcium score test and its a big fat ZERO! This all started when the VA wanted me on a statin and I went about researching how bad they are and found Dr Berry, the rest is history
I’m starting on March 1 this coming Friday. I have had Hashimotos for 31yrs. I have been over 240 lbs since then due to following medical “advice”. I tried Keto once and loved it but did not know about electrolytes and had to quit. Now I am in a wheelchair due to arthritis in my right hip. Plus a few other issues. It’s do or die this time. I’m 64 yo and too young to give up. On Friday I check into a hotel w/full kitchen while my kitchen is being renovated. I am not bringing any carbs with me. So I am determined to get it right this time.
4 weeks carnivore. I found it extremely hard. I just kept pushing through. No depression, swollen hands gone(painful) l feel strong. 63 in 3 weeks 21st September. Was keto. Epilepsy background. I can honestly say carnivore is for me. Thank you Doctor Berry. ALSO, A REMINDER TO THOSE WHOM THINK ITS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. $5.00 approximately a day on meat. And this is only the beginning. Now my friends wouldn't do keto. But, they are certainly going to do carnivore. I just shared your fantastic video. My kindest regards Greta Vains DOWNUNDER ❤AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 ❤❤
Hello from Durban, South Africa. I was T2 for almost 9 years. Had a high blood sugar and high cholesterol issue in July last year. Felt like I was going to die. From next day, went on Keto. Found Dr Berry on TH-cam and after 2 weeks, switched to carnivore. Stopped taking metformin. A1c is now down to 5.8 from 12.6 Everything seems to be far better than before, besides the gout pain in my toe. Perhaps I am missing something. Although, there is a significant improvement in what seemed to be arthritis. No more joints aching when I'm climbing the stairs. Thank you, Dr Berry. I owe it to you and God Bless.
Thank you so much Dr Berry! I have been diving down the rabbit hole so to speak for about 10 months now, watching you and others and using self education as a tool to keep my mind right as a first defense in my detox from life long sugar addiction. I'm 61 F, and so it has been disheartening to watch the super athletic males who become superman and heal everything overnight so to speak; however your videos and others have sustained me thru a slow journey to regain/ repair my health and sustain it as I enter the aging process of the decade of my 60's. In 7 months I have lost 20 lbs, have achieved sustainable energy and have experienced food 'sanity' for the 1st time in my life. My hope is that this PHD will protect my eyes and teeth as I age. I am now going thru a strange mourning phase. I miss the exitotoxins in junk food and the entertainment value of variety. But when I succumb to euphoric recall I find the 1st few bites thrilling and then meh as the reality of the knowledge that I'm eating detrimental poison for a cheap thrill occurs. Of course, being human, I wish to have it all. I am attempting to fill the gap w new activities ( hiking) and exploring new places to physically experience the wonder of life, matching my new mental information. I am actually living more now, rather than eating more. I've escaped the little box of comfort/ pleasure that the world suggests as the goal of existence, and literally stretched my legs to go discover new things! So my point is that when I find myself bored w the PHD, I think it's because life is supposed to b exciting rather than food. I think food addiction masks our very zest for life and is perhaps the biggest danger of all! This is how life should b, and I am very grateful 🙏
I was strict WFPB (vegan) for 7 years and the past year was awful. Constantly hungry, bloated, gassy, and my hormones were making me such a mental mess 😢 I did a complete flip by switching to carnivore 7 months ago and I have never felt better! I’m full and content (never felt that before!), all other symptoms are gone, mental health is improved and no money spent on expensive hormone tests. I’m 63 and my joints are great, had 2 total knee replacements while vegan and they’re feeling great. My strength is awesome, weight issues gone, BF% all time low and skeletal muscle mass great! My plan was a 3 day trial, but the results were so immediate I couldn’t stop. You are my main source of information Dr Berry and I thank you for what you do!!
I am going on a carnivore diet. I worked in a doctors office where everyone is overweight. Mega carbs on lunchroom table. Struggle to keep weight off. Currently 190 pound, female, 68 and so tired and lazy feeling. I love meat and have always been told, especially by the docs I worked for, "Dont eat to much meat, you will get a heart attack. I never believed them but did take up eating a lot of carbs, bread, oatmeal.
I know that if I eat a high carb meal I get lethargic and so sleepy. And I crave carbs and sugar. I have learned so much watching you and Neisha. As well as Steak and Butter Gal plus many other carnivore. When I stopped eating sugar my joint pain went away after a few days. I am just beginning the Carnivore diet and I hope that my results will make my family and friends want to do it as well.
I have been doing mainly carnivore for 7 months. I have lost 40 pounds, lowered my BP, A1C and cholesterol. My acid reflux went away literally the first night after not eating any plants! I donate plasma twice a week, and payment depends on weight, so I don't want to go under 180 just yet, so I have an occasional, home-made 'keto' treat. I know what to do to lose more weight when I am ready to, and I'm happy to feel so much healthier now.
I decided to give it a chance and started keto (15g carb) this month before going 100% carnivore next month. I’ve noticed weight gain so far because I don't have too much weight to lose and my body is clearly enjoying and asking for more fat. And even though I’m gaining weight, I’ll give what my body is asking until I get fat-adapted and start losing weight. I always did a low-fat diet, so I think it makes sense to gain weight since my body is adapting to receive and process so much fat out of the blue. I already feel all the benefits. :)
Eating fat does not make you fat. It's your higher fat consumption AND the face you are still eating carbs. After you ease into dropping those carbs, you will see a weight loss. Good luck and congrats on changing your life for the better.
@@inshaparveen8003see Dr Berry's vids on Proper Human Diet. eat the right foods, minimize/eliminate carbs, eat to satiety. your body will find its correct weight. don't worry about calories.
@@meatdogI tried upping the fat 5 years into carnivore and gained 20 lbs over the course of about 4 months. I've probably never been in ketosis, and I'm guessing that's why the added calories packed on the pounds.
Watching Dr Berry for months, finally went carnivore 48 days ago... can't even begin to say how much better I feel.physcally, mentally, emotionally!! It is only going to get better! Already down 14 pounds, eating like crazy, loving the meat!
@@warrior7787 Oh no! Remember you can have fish, chicken, eggs, butter. Also, you can eat a ketogenic or ketovore diet and still reap the benefits. Dr. Berry describes a ketogenic diet as covering half your plate with meat and animal products, and half your plate with low-glycemic vegetables. That may really help with your boredom.
@@warrior7787 Allow yourself to have some low glycemic vegetables or fruits. I'm the same, but something as simple as olives or strawberries helps break the monotonous.
I began the diet couple month ago. I went from 188lb to 166lb. I had a fatty liver, my AST/ALT enzymes were out of control. In the hundreds each. I am happy to say the are now in the low end of normal. My cholesterol actually went down from 300 to 260 which I know is not the case in everyone doing this diet, but for me that is the case. I used to eat carbs in tons so my body does much better eating protein and fat. Also, my testosterone went up 200 points.
@@memywifemylife9836 I wish you both good luck. I would recommend to include some fasting into your diet if possible as that will make you lose weight faster.
Enjoying this video as I eat oxtails and hard-boiled eggs swimming in butter. I totally agree with what Dr. Berry is saying. This is definitely the proper human diet!
2 Full weeks on carnivore so far, excited to keep going and see where this takes me. Been watching your videos and the Steak & Butter Gal and Zero Carb Life. I have been suffering from SLE and Hashimotos for almost 10 years, my inflammation is out of control, and I'm only 35... this is one of my first real attempts to heal myself without taking more meds (I am already on 4) please wish me luck and pray !! Only thing I am fearful of is becoming too skinny (I have no desire to lose weight, just inflammation) I am already on the small side
I used to smoke. Then I substituted chips and crackers after I quit because I needed to be consuming something all the time. But now I'm on carnivore and don't feel the need for junk food anymore. I still sometimes eat compulsivly, but it doesn't make me fat. I'm actually losing weight and have more energy. And it's all because of Dr. Berry. I'm not shilling, it's the truth. By the way I'm 75.
Started 2nd week of Jan 2024. Weight was 279. Today May 2 weight 217. Knee pain gone. Energy tremendous. Goal weight is 185. Wife started 1 month ago. Hashimotos symptoms have disappeared. It works and no hunger or cravings. Not my diet now, its my permanent lifestyle.
Hello from Canada❤ My one year carniversary A1C 5.1 pre diabeties gone Blood pressure meds gone Cholesterol meds gone Waiting for test results for fatty liver. Im sure its better than it was 40 pounds gone(could of been more but had to get off Dr Kiltz's ice cream😅😅 Pain gone My nephrologist told me i had ketones in my urine. I playrd stuoid and asked if that was a bad thing? Her response was "you're probably not eating enough". Seriously?? Thank you so much for all you're help Doctor Berry
I'm currently 54 borderline diabetic, moderately high blood pressure, and 278 lbs. I've had 2 lower back surgeries and major neck surgery. I'm starting this diet today.
Dr Berry changed my life after starting the carnivore diet, my wife and I were able to conceive, we now have a baby boy after waiting for 24 years after our firstborn. Something changed and I feel good and better
Thank you Brother ✌️ You and Chaffee tell the truth. And many others. The comments of the people and there experiences are amazing! Truth! I AM Grateful! Carnivore 2 weeks. Amazing things are happening to me and this body. 56 year young male here loving life more than ever. Best day of my life! And I thought yesterday was. Thank you to All! 💙🌎🌍🌏💚 🥩🥓🥚
7 months carnivore and down 34 lbs at 55 years of age. My blood pressure is down to “normal” at 177/70 from 145/95 and there are so many other health improvements that I cannot even list them all here. I cannot fathom going back to eating what most people think is “normal”. Everyone just says “your cholesterol must be off the chart” as they stuff their face with sugar and carbs. As I become more fit than my friends who are 10-15 years younger than me their rebuttal is weakening. Thank you Dr. Berry.
Gm here from nyc , I am new to a carnivore diet, have been on keto for 8 months and I am feeling so much more energetic my a1c 7.5 to 5.2. My blood pressure was 185/85 , now 107/67.. lost 70 lbs. But at a stand still so decided to try carnivore. Fingers crossed I can lose a bit more now..I was 320lbs now at 250lbs so still have a bit to lose ..BTW I have this next door app . And shared your videos as well as my results and so far 4 people in 2 weeks have messaged me how they want to try this phd..I'm so happy to hear that ..we all need to spread the word about a phd..it's working maybe with people on a PhD there won't be so many crazies out there lol..have a wonderful day God bless you all..let's keep this going ..I'm loving it
I am on day three of this diet I have already noticed a drop in my appetite. I am eating twice a day and I’m pretty much not hungry which before this diet I would eat eat eat snack and drink. My dad has been doing it for several months and he has lost 50 plus pounds. I’m excited to see where it takes me. I am going to miss some foods and beer but mind over matter we got this.
I’ll keep this super simple, I started carnivore Dec 1st and only cheated Christmas Day. To date I’ve gone from 89.8kgs to 80.7kgs and I can honestly say feel like my younger self. Better recuperation when sleeping, more energy and the cravings leading to snacking have gone. Just do it I say.
I just ran my blood work and lost my mind when I saw it. I can 100% confirm my total testosterone climbed 400(not a joke) points also. It blew my mind but explains why I feel like I have been fired from a cannon. With ketone, zone 2 HR training and weight training I am in the best shape and health I have been in 15 years.
I have viewed a lot of your videos before I decided to try carnivore diet. I started September 10, 2023 . It’s now January 24, 2024 . 4 1/2 months I started at 401 lbs I am now 329 lbs Lost 72 lbs 1 week now “ OMAD”
I’m 61 and was type 2 diabetic about 5 years ago. I was damaging my health with my diet. I followed Dr. Berry’s diet advice and today I am celebrating yet another year of great annual physical results. All my numbers from the blood test are normal. My daily meal is meat or seafood with a fermented food like sauerkraut or kimchee. It wasn’t easy changing my ways, but it made me realize how addictive carbs are. You can eat poultry and all the eggs you want, but make sure you balance it with an Omega 3 like kale, spinach or avocado.
I was fasting and just eating fruits and vegetables only, then I was put a steak on the grill it was grass fed steak and it was delicious and I grilled another the next day, and I felt pretty good, I kinda went overboard I did not feel full or bloated or anything, I believe this Doctor, I believe your body craves meat. ❤
You are one of the best here on youtube. Sten Ekberg is another one really good to explain how it works. I eat mostly meat, butter cream. Add some plants only for taste and variations. I have fell off the vagons before and have no good explanations. But if you ones was addicted to carbs you better stay off them. As long as you do that the cravings is under control. It is crazy how much better you feel when you skip the carbs.
First off I want to thank you Dr Berry for showing me the Carnivore diet. I've been on it for about Seven weeks now and I just did labs on Monday the 15th. I'm a type two diabetic and my A1C went from 8.9 to 6.2! I've lost almost Twenty pounds and my pants are getting looser and my belt is getting tighter! I can actually see myself having a great summer! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Homebound for 12 years from Lyme disease, antibiotic poisoning, mold exposure, borderline diabetic (both my parents have diabetes) and so many autoimmune diseases I finally told the Dr to quit testing and telling me because I wasn't going to keep up with the list and certainly would never tell another Dr because they either wouldn't want to touch me or think I was a hypochondriac! Took me 8 months to start seeing recovery. Began Dec 2019 by April 2021 we bought a farm and now raise Aberdeen's (small stocky breed of beef), pork, chicken, ducks, and grandchildren! I am finally well enough to be able to have my grandchildren come and visit! We are still eating out of our freezer and haven't harvested anything we raise other than eggs! I'm about to be 61 and farm work is hard, but having a farm was a life long dream since childhood. This was the craziest diet, but I was desperate as I had tried everything and this was the last ditch. Lost 60 lbs. Gained muscle though I am trying to increase my protein intake so and work on lifting weights to build more muscle not just do farm work. I absolutely love this diet! My husband is no longer a couch blob! Today is his 61st Birthday and he is my hunky (not chunky) husband and awesome Papa! Don't care what anyone else thinks. I also do well adding liver, and beef organ supplements!
I gotta say, I've been following carnivore TH-cam channels for a few years now but never gave it much of a shot. I was doing regular keto and lost a lot of weight, and thought I was satisfied there. But there were some lingering issues: namely chaotic digestion (bathroom sessions were a chore) and problems having energy in the day. I still haven't gone "full carnivore" but I'm now about 90%, and it's only been around a week. In a matter of days, my digestion became FLAWLESS. Today I was literally jumping out of my skin with energy on my usual consumption of caffeine. If this continues, I'll have to start cutting back on the caffeine drinks. Pretty crazy differences and it happened fast.
It's so funny, I had the same experience with caffeine after just a few days. I had to move to decaf espresso. Even a small teaspoon of real made me jumpy.
Great video Ken Berry!!! well done! very succinct and well presented. I'm so glad you addressed the Proper Human Diet for what it is... ancestrally appropriate whole food for humans and not some sales gimmick or 'new diet' or fad. The words 'Keto' or 'Carnivore' have such a stigma attached. Again, thanks for spelling this out. This video is very watchable and makes a whole lot of sense. (ketovore, with all the benefits for 2.5 years now, also a proud tribe member and supporter).
I had a complete blood test lots of letters. I told my doctor I was carnivore food life style There was number that said I was eating a good diet. He was surprised 😮! The only test he said was high. So, he ] wants me to do a satin drug. I said no😅 I did this because I have bad arthritis in every joint. Alot of pain meds low life style. I have no pain! I can now walk 3 or more miles a day without pain. Before i could not walk 3 feet without severe pain. Thanks for all your information.
Day 2 of carnivore and down 1.6kg in 24hrs. The water is just emptying out of me! Hopefully it helps my PTSD because right now I just want to straighten up all the books in your bookshelf! Love your content thanks!
I'm 60, and I've been on the carnivore diet since Jan 3... about 2 weeks. Aside from some eggs, I've eaten only beef and a bit of fish. In just two weeks, here's what I've already noticed: 9lb weight loss, less pain in my hips and knees, reduction in anxiety, and fresher/younger looking skin. The cravings for junk food disappeared after a week. Since then, it's been easy and comfortable. The only thing it hasn't done is cure my ED, but I suspect it will take a bit longer for that.
My testosterone went from double digits on plant based to 909 meat/fat based, low carb. It has normalized right around 800 for past three years. No more GERD, lower blood pressure, lost weight, added muscle. The evolutionary frame helps me stay focused on being a happy caveman.
Hi Dr Berry! Great video! Thank you! By following your advice, I’ve lost 85 pounds, joint pain, brain fog, and sadness! I feel hopeful for the future!! People, try keto or carnivore. You will learn so much about yourselves!! 🤠
6 months in and 3rd try in 3 years. I'm doing way better than the last trys. I'm so grateful for the day I first happened upon your video. I was desperate for health and found the answer here.
My biggest problem last couple of years was bloating and inflammation, than cravings and low focus at work. For years trying to find solution and I'm almost 53. Been keto/law carb last 8 years and although it helped tremendously, I still had inflammation, bloating, etc. Only when I went full carnivore, all, I mean all issues disappeared. I stopped eating it few months ago because I am generally not a big meat eater and missed fruits and vegetables and all my problems came back. So now, going back to meat. Thank you kindly for all information and advices you put here!
You’ve already witnessed for yourself the many benefits of the carnivore diet so just be patient, take your vitamin P daily, and welcome back to a Proper Human Diet my friend!! 😊😊😊
Dear Doctor Berry, thanks so much for your work. I do not need to do labs for inflammation, I can feel the relief each day and now a whole week without pain killers ! Amazing !Thanks for your tireless informative work, as my friends worry about me as I was vegetarian most of my life and they cannot understand why meat is making me well ! Keep it up.
@@Born_4_Battle ahhh thank you . Good health to ya.

Same here,same age.Funny that eh!
The goal was always to scare you with lies that would prevent you from ever trying a carnivore diet. In my case they have failed miserably because I feel great with endless energy and I'm 73.

@guitarszen wtf are you on about?
I start tomorrow.
Please wish me luck.
I'm doing it to help fight a couple of illnesses.
Best of luck to anyone else just starting
How's the diet going? Well I hope!
You won’t regret it. I’m 14 months healed of chronic fatigue and migraines. Almost bedbound for two years. Healed!
Day 19 added a very small piece of pumpkin and potato to fatty roast lamb and blood sugar came back to normal. 😥
Day 20 assessing what to keep and what to minimise, and when, leading up to full carnivore again by day 30.
Just finished my 90 day challenge. I lost 46 pounds.

That’s awesome. Congratulations 🎉

It happens to me too. I use these videos to reset my mind 😅
Similar thing here. Christmas eve, Christmas day and boxing day (the day after Christmas) I ate with the family. Felt a bit off, headaches etc.
I highly doubt one piece of chocolate did that.
@@kalnwi2023I think she means that that one piece of chocolate made her fall off the wagon for two months. But now she’s back on track! 👍
Makes me smile! God bless you. My Mother was 43 when she had my little brother.
Congratulations! If a boy name him Kenneth, if a girl Neisha LOL
CONGRATULATIONS!! That’s the the best carnivore symptom yet! 😂🩵🩷
Well congratulations!
😂👏
I’m 76. Hadn’t had any libido at all for maybe 10 years. While eating mostly vegan. After several months doing carnivore, all of sudden, whoa, what’s that!? 😂
And it got rid of my pain from RA. It’s been 2 yrs now. Yay!
@@cari3157 how long it took to get rid the pain from the RA, after you start the carnivore diet ? I have RA also ;(
Milestone met: I started carnivore 6 days ago, thanks to you guys. Today, after 35+ years, I ate scrambled eggs. I have had a psychological aversion to eggs most of my life, but my brain is now apparently shifting with determination to get healthy! ❤
Try brown butter scrambled eggs. So good, it's the only way I cook them now.
Fry some cut up bacon in the pan and then dump eggs in and scramble them all together. This has been my craving for the last week. Don't pour out any of the bacon fat.
I like my scrambled eggs with a dash of heavy cream. I scramble medium high and add additional butter on top after cooked through.😋🤤
Yay!!! 👏 You've got this! Eggs are so good for you!
And if you used salt and a little bit of heavy cream, whip it up before scrambling in bacon grease or butter, they'll taste really good! 👌
Happened to me too.
I lost 90lbs in 2021 listening to you! I am healthy and feel like I got my life back and have kept the weight off for the 1st time in my life at 53. Thank You 🎉❤.
Congratulations 😊
Me as well. 55yrs old 😊
That's awesome congrats!
Congratulations. Great job.
What did you eat and the fats used?
"Cows should stop eating grass because it's inflammatory" Ken you nailed it when you said that. Brilliant!!!! Thanks man for keeping it real.
So you stopped eating at McDonald's and saw health improvement, imagine that 😂
@@fragitudedick comment.
@@fragitude I don't eat at McDonalds - ever. Not sure where you got that from. Eating meat and butter (fat) doesn't equate to McNasty's.
My constant snacking has stopped
My inflammation has decreased so much I still can’t believe the results.

What did you eat and the fats used?
@tatianesoarespereira I started with keto, and cut out all ultraprocessed food. After a few months my carbs dropped basically to zero and I ate steak, ground beef, eggs, bacon, lamb, and sardines.
@tatianesoarespereira I also eat avocado and cheese from time to time. For fats I use butter and ghee, lard, tallow and coconut oil sometimes. And I always save the fat when I cook bacon 🥓 😋
That is amazing! Good for you!!
What is important to know if you want to start a carnivore diet but have no gall bladder?
I went LCHF WOE in 2019 & I believe it saved my life. I will be 81 on aug. 21 2014 and have zero pains. I dropped 100 lbs. off my old carcass . I get 100 grams minimum animal protien daily. I also eat a very very small amount veggies. I maintain 170 lbs wt. and am 5 ft. 8 in tall. I exercise a little & pedal my trike all over town.

I started carnivore 3 days ago. I ate my breakfast at 10:30. I didn't get hungry until 5 pm. I am weaning myself off all other foods. It has been going well.
Good luck ! Hang in there !

No bc I only eat 2 meals/day and I don't buy snack food.

KEN!!💪👍
You rock, too, for making a positive change in your life. Keep it up.
Fantastic!! 👏🏻
do you use MyHealthEVet online? I check it daily until results are posted, but what I've found is the A1c is its own lab and never shows the results, it shows the test, but no results. Last month I called the nurse and had them look it up June 2022, today 5.2 and all my labs are great. The VA even did a cardio calcium score test and its a big fat ZERO! This all started when the VA wanted me on a statin and I went about researching how bad they are and found Dr Berry, the rest is history
That’s great Dale! Is your office still on Bolsa Chica?
Let us know your results and thank you for service 👍
No carbs/ STRICT CARNIVORE way of eating is the best thing I've ever done!!
I’d love to hear how you’re doing. I also have Hashimoto’s. I’m about to start a pretty expensive therapeutic combination to combat it.
Been on a strict carnivore diet for 3 weeks now and already down 15lbs
My kindest regards Greta Vains

You’re lucky. Still have reflux after 5 months strict Carnivore.
@@AnneMB955could you be drinking too much water with your meal? Don't want to flush out the acid needed to breakdown the meat.
@@AnneMB955Try apple cider vinegar. Not an instant cure but should help over time.
@@AnneMB955 it could be from a cause other than carbs.
It may not be for everyone BUT it has sure helped me!
What's ur diet compromise of???becaise I also wan to gain weight with carnivore diet so if u could please help
Eating fat does not make you fat. It's your higher fat consumption AND the face you are still eating carbs. After you ease into dropping those carbs, you will see a weight loss. Good luck and congrats on changing your life for the better.
You’re doing something wrong. Something is hidden that you are not aware of.

@@meatdogI tried upping the fat 5 years into carnivore and gained 20 lbs over the course of about 4 months. I've probably never been in ketosis, and I'm guessing that's why the added calories packed on the pounds.

That's awesome results! Me and my wife are on day 19, we've got a long way to go but can't wait for the results.
Ya know what I miss in both carnivore and keto.. absorbent foods. I want to sop up that melted butter with something

Thank you Dr. Berry for teaching the truth!! I’m eating Neisha’s meatloaf minus the bacon with a carnivore beef gravy!! Delicious!!

Me and my wife are on day 19, We just started to documenting our journey. Thanks for all the content we've learned so much from your channel!
