I worked with one guy who is stage 4 kidney disease. I convinced him to try carnivore and wow, his kidney function improved after only a few months.
My supervisor's wife, who is only 32, has stage 4 cancer, which is spreading throughout her body. She has been through so much, and I've talked to my supervisor about keto/carnivore. She has cut back but still eats a lot of fresh fruit and veg. Recently, they switched to a more holistic doctor because they were at the end of what medicine could do. The doctor had her move to a more carnivore ketogenic diet, get rid of carbs. Again wow, she just got a pet scan and he tumors have either stopped growing with some beginning to shrink.
Thank you and others like Dr. Baker and Dr. Chaffee for giving people like me the resources to spread this message!!!

Introduce her to the work of Dr. Thomas Seyfried (PhD, not MD) who is having great success in both research and helping physicians work with cancer patients. His work is based on the model of cancer as a metabolic disease. Our current medical system is based on the model of cancer as a genetic disease. The foundation of his work is ketogenic diet, but there are a few additional tweaks. TH-cam is full of videos with Dr. Seyfried.

My doc referred me to a kidney specialist because she was concerned with my diet damaging kidneys. My new kidney doc wasn’t at all worried about a carnivore diet, she ran some tests and did a kidney ultrasound and said I’m fine- if I like my diet and feel good have at it.

Two years ago, I was at 465 pounds. Today I am at 259. I was very unhealthy two years ago, I had to use a cane. My blood panels were not good. I haven't used that cane for almost two years. My blood panel numbers are all great. I am faithful to this diet, to OMAD, and to drinking a lot of water. My doctors, including my cardiologist, are amazed and completely supportive.

hi I'm 17 years old and I've been doing the carnivore diet for 4 weeks now and i feel sooooo much better !!! A year ago i had really bad stomach issues. I would get pain and bloating constantly but i never wanted to go to the doctor because i didnt want to hear that there was something wrong with me. I was losing weight but i craved sugar and i ate way to much fruit and sugar free crap. the carnivore diet helped me lose more belly fat percentage and stop craving sugar. Thank you Dr. Ken for making these helpful videos !!!

It gets better. If you stick with high-fat carnivore, within 2 years you will be tight with a flat belly & more lean mass than previously.
      -and endless energy.
I see a lot of teens now who are "skinnyfat". -thin, but with a soft midsection & without muscle tone.
You will be surprised at the changes.

So I am 55 female. Not overweight but was starting to get a little pudgy. I ate plant based for about 5 years trying to heal gut issues. Yep, that backfired but didn't realize it until the last few weeks.
I have been eating primarily carnivore for the last 3 weeks. My gut is way happy! Another thing that just absolutely rocks.... I am starting to feel less bony. My collar bones don't stick out as much. I am not even exercising right now. But filling out more. My face looks less gaunt. My skin is more plump. Good grief I could go on and on .
Speaking of go on and on. I am a lifetime insomniac. The last few weeks I have been falling right to sleep. Never done this before in my life!. Fall asleep, stay asleep and feel rested in the morning!

Dr. Berry is very intelligent! He knows damn well that you don't need plants in your diet at all and actually no carnivore added plants back into their diet and experienced any benefits, actually for most people who do that they would experience negative effects, clear negative effects, especially after eating clean for a while and optimizing their health. BUT, he doesn't want to scare people away and rather give them the hope that if they ever needed to go back to eating plants that they can so they would give it a shot!! He knows that once they see the transformation they're never gonna go back to eating the way they did before. The pound of Spinach he was talking about (to get your daily dose of iron) comes with a S*** ton of oxalates. I used to blend a handful of spinach every morning with a couple of eggs (not a pound....only a hand full) and I ended up ruining my knees, my elbows, my gums and had inflammation all over my body. I had chronic inflammation that no doctor could help me with. Not until I cut the spinach that my inflammation healed in just a little over a week!!!!! That alone should tell you that all those leafy greens are not for us humans to eat, because those defense chemicals in ALL plants, will eventually F** you up!!! That a fact!!
As far as iodine, eggs have iodine and redmond salt has iodine as well. Also, taking vitamin D3 as a supplement can come with some dangers, so (I'm not a doctor) but based on that, I wouldn't take any D3 supplement either. Eat some grass-fed butter (Like KerryGold butter) and you'll get plenty of vitamin D3. Also you never have to eat organ meats, if you look at the proportion of meat to liver in any animal you'd conclude that it wasn't a part of our ancestors diet. Some say they used to throw the liver for the dogs to eat. You can also suffer copper toxicity or even hypervitaminosis if you eat liver every day! Just eat your well-salted-red-fatty meat, cut out all the B.S and you'll see amazing results.

Be aware that if you are on BP drug you might need to reduce it. I felt fatigued (no energy) which was a different feeling from not sleeping well or enough. I started getting dizzy when getting up off the floor after doing pilates.
I also suggest that you get you blood tests done before you start so you have a benchmark. Include a fasting insulin.
Also take measurements because it's not just about weight but body shape.
      Good luck.

I'm 70 yrs old woman and I went keto carnivore for six weeks. I lost 35 lbs. Then I started getting muscle cramps from hell in my upper thighs. I increased the electrolytes but then I had horrible diarrhea I was afraid to go out of the house. So I decreased the magnesium but my cramps came back. So I started eating sour dough bread once a day and no more cramps. Only it will spark my carb addiction so I have a hard time sticking to keto carnivore. Kinda stuck.😢

I just learned that caffeine blocks magnesium absorption. I had recently cut all caffeine from my diet and started drinking 12 oz of hot homemade bone broth to replace my morning coffee and the nightly cramps have disappeared. I also had to quit taking magnesium supplements because of IBD. Magnesium glycinate is the form of magnesium that does not cause diarrhea.

I’m 30 days in on the 19th. Trying to get rid of prediabetes extra weight, heart palpitations, and heart races. The first week was great. The last three of been hell I felt awful. I’ve had heart races cold sweats, super tired, very depressed. I started taking electrolytes and vitamin D3. That seems to have helped. I’m just hoping that I get over whatever it is as far as my body changing too fat adaption soon I also have straight water for poop still so I decided to change it up a little bit and do a 36 hour fast every other day with the carnivore dietand I realize that I need to even up my electrolytes even more with that just hope that this horrible adaptation goes away soon. I’m going on weeks of it now so it should be the end soon according to what I read and hear. 45 in Feb, male, I also don’t have a gallbladder. What I eat on the days I fast is five over easy eggs in the morning with six pieces of thick cut bacon I eat 5 1/4 pound patties from McDonald’s for lunch and a giant grass fed ribeye steak for dinner. I’ve stopped snacking on the butter as much because it seems to give me worse diarrhea.

I am grateful for finding your channel and the carnivore diet explained. I was VERY sceptical at first but my body was proof that a plant based diet can cause weight gain and inflammation. But can you explain why many people DO get amazing results with their weight and inflammation after eating plant based?? I tried and I always thought something was wrong with me because I got the opposite results. Well there was something “wrong”. I had hyperinsulinemia. It was like a light bulb went off in my brain!! So do you think that blood type has anything to do with whether someone can do better on plant based or carnivore? I am O blood and in know we need more protein whereas, from what I’ve read, A type blood has a hard time tolerating meat. Any thoughts??

Dr. Berry, my one question is; Why do I experience leg and foot cramps on the Carnivore diet? Recently they're not as debilitating as in the past but they are still causing trouble. I'm always drinking water and I don't hold back from doing so. I don't feel that dehydration is the cause. I'm on my second bottle of keto chow. I take it often but not every day. I'm wondering if I'm lacking in something that causes them to happen or is it an adaptive response by my body. I'm leaning towards thinking it's an adaptive response from the many years of the Standard American Diet. I'm 60 and Carnivore for a couple years now. Another question to you is : Do other Carnivores experience leg and foot cramps and have they subsided at all? Thanks, I love your show.
