You’re LIVE!?!? CONGRATS!!! I just got approved by my state to go live but am finishing up a few loose ends - I’m so close and it feels sooooo gooood! Also, loved the part where your son (Grayson?) was helping paint. That’s soooo relatable. My 3 y/o daughter has been “helping” paint. And it’s been mixed results. Lol. Congratulations again - I am hoping that you’ll be super successful so we can watch you build another one! I’m so glad that your risk and HARD work is starting to pay off. I know how hard that can be when you have a family to support.
Yes- we are live!!! And it does feel SO GOOD! We thought we would get a little break after being finished with this build, but we are pressing on! We have so many plans and are moving on some (more details to come!!) Thank you for saying that, we love that Grayson likes to "help". A lot of times its mixed results - so we understand that! LOL but luckily it would be hard to mess that project up. We hope that you see all the success too, it truly is HARD work trying to raise a family and build this business. We are "on" 24/7- does that happen to you?
@@buildfixflip yes. On 24/7 is the reality with kids AND building (literally in your case! 😂) a business. When I was 10 my mom moved our family 4 hours away from what had become our home to start her own business. I helped name it and watched her fix up a house and struggle to get the proper permits and to build her business. And I believe it’s been worth it not only for her but for the blessing of being able to watch her do that. I firmly believe that that’s why I’m an entrepreneur TODAY. Because I watched her do it. I watched her follow her dream and get to set her own schedule (within reason). I share this to encourage you that the struggle is WORTH IT. For the extra time with your kids. For teaching through doing. Modeling hard work and getting to do life together as a family. You don’t know what this could spark in your kids - my mom surely didn’t. But I do blame her for my entrepreneurial spirit. 😂

Thank you so much!! It’s hard to know but you may want to guesstimate that you double the cost. We need to do the exact numbers on our shed but we think ours cost about $22k so roughly $45k. A lot of the construction came about building the amenities like the shower and sauna and everything, so you could probably build for much less. But where are you located? And do you already have a property you are wanting to build on? Maybe we should hit the road and help people build their glamp sites as a business! Lol 😋
Love those drywall alternatives you're going with! The concrete board is super unique and I have never seen that but it looks great. I missed it - why are you painting the inside of the walls gray? Does this help with insulation? I need to catch up on the rest of your videos - I'm hooked on your journey!
We jumped around a lot this week, so no worries! Thank you- we love the concrete look! We wanted to do a bold paint on the walls and you will see the final design soon! Hopefully you like it!! It doesn't help with the insulation- which we will have to do an insulation project soon in the lofts!
