In today’s video, I’m going to talk about natural remedies for low stomach acid. Your stomach must be highly acidic to break down the foods you're consuming for proper absorption. If you have health conditions similar to leaky gut, you may have low stomach acid. My top five natural remedies to improve stomach acid, digestive function and help acid reflux are:
    1. Apple Cider Vinegar (Take one tablespoon before meals and with digestive bitters for optimal results.)
    2. Digestive Enzymes (1-2 capsules before meals)
    3. HCL with pepsin (Only consume with protein in a meal; please consult your physician.)
    4. Manuka Honey
    5. Lifestyle change: chew your food more, eat smaller meals, and try intermittent fasting
By following these 5 simple steps, you should naturally be able to treat your low stomach acid. For more on digestive health, you can check out: draxe.com/4-steps-to-heal-leak...

Five things to take to raise acid in stomach:
    1. Apple Cider Vinegar/Digestive Bitters
    2. Digestive enzymes
    3. Hydrochoric Acid (HCL) with pepsin
    4. Manuka Honey
    5. Chew 30x before swallowing and eat smaller meals.

Talk to a Doctor ... really? I have talked to many doctors for the past 15 years. I have done everything mentioned in the video and more (except HCL). Every Doctor told me not to take HCL. Stating I make too much Acid already which is the reason for the inhibitors to lower my stomach acid due to Acid Reflux. Concerning my issues you name it ... I got it. Trying not to get cancer. Over the years things just kept on getting worse to the point that I just wanted to die. I finally just went ahead and took the HCL according to how much protein in the meal. Very little protein I just take 1 pill 650mg ... high protein meals require more pills ... etc. So you need to pay attention to your body. Anyway ... I told my doctor today that I have been taking HCL for about 30 days and I feel like a different person. She freaked out! She even said she not sure if she wants to keep me as a patient if I continue to take them. I told her I'm not sure that I want to keep her as my doctor since you have no idea how HCL w pepsin has helped me. And wonder why she did not know about this? If it was up to me I'd fire every doctor that has treated me for these last 15 years! I think they should be strung up! *Their practice of getting kickbacks on the drugs they prescribe is UNETHICAL and that leads to very poor care at that!*
*My conclusion is you have to be a better doctor than the one treating you!*

100% doctors are nothing but drug dealers. Your local crack dealer probably has more ethics than them.
They get you sick and keep you sick. I went into a pharmacy looking for a HCL stomach acid product listed on their website, wasn't on the shelf, asked the pharmacist for it and he said people always need less stomach acid don't take that product. When I turned around and said people with acid reflux have low stomach acid as the cause, he didn't argue but didn't know what to say, he didn't say anything I could see him thinking and I smiled and left...useless

They just keep you on these debilitating pharmaceutical and surgical protocols for life. Often shortened and painful lives. I hope you don't have to go this route. Even the natural doctors have trouble because of the average Americans diet. And it can take years to rebuild a body that has been torn down by years or decades of abuse. I know most all of this data and two days ago I had two pints of Hagen Daz. But I juiced and had organic meats the next two days and I am doing great.

I was skeptical at first because everyone on TH-cam is an expert but what you say makes logical sense so I figured I have nothing to lose. I've suffered from acid reflux for more than 15 years and two years ago it got so bad it would double me over. I would start coughing then aspirate acid into my lungs which could cause me to start vomiting. This would happen daily. My doctor put me on Prilosec. It helped but then I started putting on weight. 30 lbs in 6 months.
I ran out of Prilosec 5 days ago. Instead of buying more at $20 a box I got bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar for $6. Three days in and I can not believe the improvement! I've had only mild heartburn when I sleep which goes away with a sip of water.
If this continues to improve you have completely changed my life! Thank you!!!

Dr Axe...the number one thing to fix low HCL is fixing and stimulating your Vagus Nerve. The Vagus nerve controls HCL and digestive juices. HCL supplements are just band aids. Gastroparesis (no HCL or digestive enzymes) is caused by an underactive Vagus Nerve. Dr. Datis Kharrazian has a fantastic video and book on this

I can't digest veggies and end up with sour stomach the next day, doesn't go away until I get it so bad I start to throw up and I don't stop throwing up until the little piece of lettuce that I couldn't digest comes up then I start to recover. I usually get diarrhea as well. Like my body is just trying to flush everything out of my gut. the HCL does help a lot of the time but I find I need it with lettuce and then beans which are a protein like you mentioned. I clearly have leaky gut issues. working on figuring out how to heal it. I have everything else under the sun relating to leaky gut, thyroid issues I'm sure, adrenal fatigue, post partum anxiety, digestion issues, joint pain... you name it. Time to HEAL it!

This was excellent!!! The only thing you missed here was to include Virgin Coconut Oil into your daily routine to put the SIBO back in check as you rebuild your stomach's HCL production levels. The Manuka honey actually causes my SIBO to get worse and I use the 400+ from New Zealand. I can't even take probiotics without a bad downward spiral. But The ACV, HCL, Enzymes and Eating smaller meals all worked to bring my health back to a manageable place where I could reclaim my life. Thanks for this incredible video. Thank you for taking the time to do this very helpful and informative video. I have extreme bloating, gas and GI discomfort most of the time, including when I go to sleep and when I wake up in the morning. The only time I don't feel gas is when I manage to fast for more than 20 hours. This is beyond frustrating, especially since I've tried everything I can think of such as giving up dairy, gluten, legumes, nuts, fruit, raw vegetables, soy, sugar and processed foods during the past 4 years. Could the problem simply be that I don't have enough stomach acid and HCL pepsin like this video describes?
If I eat raw ginger root half-an-hour before each meal and put apple cider vinegar on my food during the meals, should this solve my extreme gas, bloating and GI discomfort?
Thank you so much! I tremendously appreciate your counsel.👫

    • @patmo45
      @patmo45 ปีที่แล้ว +1

These days, because of California drought, almonds are very expensive. Some farms have gone out of business because their trees died from lack of water. You’ll want non-pasteurized raw almonds which you can’t buy in stores(US) because law requires them to be pasteurized (heated to at least 185* for a certain time, so they aren’t really raw then) but it’s legal for farmers to sell unpasteurized raw almonds to individuals. You can sometimes find raw, unpasteurized almonds from Spain in health food stores. But in any case, expect to pay$18-25 per pound no matter what.
