    What symptoms do you experience from low stomach acid?

      SIBO, potential parasites

      @@KickItNaturally Hi! Wanted to give you an update. I am almost 100% sure that have chronic giardia infection that gives off SIBO symptoms. For some reason Giardia coats entire small intestine and prevents bile from getting abosrbed properly and it slows down my gut motility and if i eat too much i start to belch with a sulfur like smell. My symptoms are inflammation that causes me arthritis, mild bloating, slowed down gut motility due fat malabsorption caused by Giardia. I dont get any diarrheas, i spent last year doing 12 liver/gallbladder flashes to the point that after 12th one there was not a single stone present. I did that cuz i thought I had bile flow problem in the first place but the issue actually stems from Giardia sitting in my small intestine. There is actually not much information on this topic. Wonder what are your thoughts?

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      With any type of infection, the person not only needs to wipe it out, but they also need to restore the stomach acid function or the door is open for infection after infection coming in. Our totally free digestion course walks you thorugh that process. You can find that free course here: th-cam.com/video/RjPdowTvD6I/w-d-xo.html Sounds like you have some issues that need to be corrected.

    A recent blood test showed I am low in zinc so I’ve been supplementing with a chelated form that also has a small amount of Betaine hcl. It’s a tiny pill I at at night on empty stomach, 15 mg/tablet.
    After supplementing for two wks my night vision improved significantly!! I am so excited, I’m no longer afraid to drive at night alone. This also helps w keeping my blood sugar in check. I’m not overweight, never been. In fact recently I’ve been under what I consider healthy for me. But these videos have been an absolute blessing and so comprehensive which makes it easy to understand.
    This explains why my iron and b12 are constantly low and hard to keep in normal range.

    If mild to occasional stomach acid, especially due to stress. My no. 1 suggestion is make a pot of Casscara Sagrada ( go ask at a Mexican Supermarket, they will sell packets of it).
    Keep a big Tea Pot on the stove all week with it after you have brewed it.. Take a 8 oz. glass every morning as soon as you wake up and the same before going to bed. It will TRANQUILIZE your stomach instantly in 30 seconds! Better and 1- 20th the cost of Zantac and works a whole lot quicker. Casscara Sagrada is a Tree Bark, some say it is actually Quinine, I do not know. Keep the bark in the Tea Pot all week and as you poor it out in the morning and evening poor additional water into your glass so its the color of common Iced Tea. A bag will probably cost you $3.00 and last you for about 2 to 3 months. Is that cheap enough. I used this for over 30 years, and 100 pct. natural.

    • @chriseraphim
      @chriseraphim ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That's very good but cascara shouldn't really be used daily. It's a strong herbal laxative that's great in short term uses as needed, but when taken long term it can make the bowel a bit dependant on it. Then when go without constipation can come back very strongly. It works by forcing peristaltic action in the bowel so it pushes things along faster. It's better to have breaks from it and use more magnesium to go regularly.

    • @olgakuchukov6981
      @olgakuchukov6981 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      This is a laxative and has given me cramps and pain in the past. As a tree bark it is also high oxalate and should be considered in addition to other oxalate foods people are eating.

    After 20 years of chronic GERD, and trying everything to medically & naturally fix it... I discovered how: 1. Cut-out or drastically reduce; Sugar & processed foods. 2. No food after 7pm. 3. Fermented foods; pre & probiotics to rebalance my gut bacteria. No problems at this point, EVER!
    IF you want to check on your gut bacteria, eat a few forkfuls of Sauerkraut when you have an episode of GERD. If the problem disappears or is drastically reduced? You have a gut balance problem. It was magic for me! Keep in mind, SUGAR will totally screw your gut up! NOTHING will work consistently if you don't lose the sweets!

    I have a chronic acid reflex and bloating, i never change my diet but it started happening 4 years ago, maybe because i started eating really fast, anyhow today after watching few videos i decided to try vinegar, so i took 1 tsp of vinegar 5%acid with a huge amount of water, it felt worst at first my stomach felt like a war zone and 30 mins later the acid reflex was better, i dont want to take supplements so i will be trying to do this for a week and see how it goes

      Yeah, apple cider vinegar can help if a person just needs a little boost. But if a person has a significant problem, they're not going to fix it without supplements so just keep that in mind. Having to take supplements is a much better option than the problem reflux can cause. If you haven't seen this video on how to fix a bacterial overgrowth, that may be a key point to understand as well: th-cam.com/video/RjPdowTvD6I/w-d-xo.html

    from my experience stomach acid is strongly correlated with metabolism. when you have body temp in the 95s or even 94s and a resting heart rate under 60 your stomach acid will be low. it's such a costly thing for the body to make.

    • @KickItNaturally

      In our free digestion course, we teach people to use HCL seperately from enzymes, so you can adjust the dose as needed. The very small amount of HCL in digestizyme is not meant to replace HCL. It is just a boost. The other ingredients are meant to help the body make more of it's own HCL so a person does not need to use it as often. Thanks for another insightful video!!
    I have a question regarding betaine HCL.
    Is this supplement something that you will have to take forever or does your stomach acid eventually start to regulate itself back to normal after some time (with the usage of betaine of course)?

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Thanks @Dylan Conradie , We cover this in more depth in our free digestion course found here: kickitnaturally.com/course
      But the idea is that if you can create digestion using HCL, your body should eventually have enough resources that it can start making more of it's own HCL. How long that takes can vary wildly from person to person. But as long as a person is also using the Beet Flow we talk about here: www.naturalreference.com/product
      To ensure bile is thin enough to flow correctly, they should be able to create that sizzle that helps them pull all the nutrients out of their food and speed that process up.

      ACV is appropriate for someone who is insulin resistant because it is pro-anabolic and pushing them more in that direction can help some people process glucose more effectively. But that doesn't mean it's strong enough to truly help some people acidify their food correctly. Like everything, it's about looking at the person and not sure their symptoms. You need to look at where their chemistry is.

    What happens if stress caused low stomach acid. Like the sympathetic nervous system is in overdrive! Or the vagus nerve is damaged from years of imflamation. What do you treat first, pathogens, heavy metals, stress. I get to confused

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      HI, every case is different and there's no way for me to know unless someone is a client and I dig into their chemistry. But there is a hierarchy, generally speaking. Like, an electrolyte imbalance is usually a priority over a sympathetic imbalance, etc. Too much to type out here, but I explain this in my book that you can download for free in the description of this video. But the good news is that a person can just supplement with HCL as long as they are also using Beet Flow and they can continue that until they fix enough things that the body can start making it's own HCL.

    Unfortunately betaine HCL makes my b12 deficiency worse and causes even more neuropathic pain, I'm allergic to vinegar, I also have SIBO/SIFO and I've tried a lot of things but it always seems to come back because of my low stomach acidity.
    What is helping me a little is taking a blend of common enzymes (Acid Protease, Amylase and Lipase).
    I saw your video about Ox bile and I ended up a little confused, some people on reddit say that this supplement together with UDCA helped to cleanse the intestine against SIBO/SIFO but you advise against using it as it reduced stomach acidity even more, could these two supplements have antimicrobial action? I would also like to know your opinion about the bromelain enzyme to increase acidity, Thanks doctor!

That may not be the exact word he used, but it's been over five years and I can't recall for sure. His belief was that pure white salt was better. About the celery juice it did make me feel refreshed and cleaned in the morning, I used it for couple of years until it started giving me bad and painful diahrrea at the end. I stopped it and went back to it few times, it didn’t work. Maybe it’s the bike issue like you said. I really wanna try the Beet Flow because I couldn’t find a way to handle the Hcl 🥲

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Beet flow has a little bit of beet root in it, but not significant enough to show up as carbohydrate count or anything. And if bile isn't flowing, it will be harder to get more nutrients out of your food and give the body the resources it needs to fight off the invader.

    I have consistent symptoms of low stomach acid. Speckles of undigested food in my stool, extremely stubborn constipation, burping immediately after eating, tons of bloating and flatulence, burning and reflux, vitamin deficiencies, fatigue, etc.
    But when I tried to supplement with Betaine, even just 200mg, I got reflux and the warming sensation. I’ve watched all your videos about Betaine and reflux, and I read your 4 week course, so I totally understand why it would cause the reflux, but why the warming?? It kicked in within ten minutes, and made my whole body feel warm, starting in my stomach/chest and spreading from there.
    I’m at a complete loss here, because I have all these symptoms that scream low stomach acid, but even a tiny bit of Betaine seems to be too much. But digestive bitters and ACV don’t seem to do anything except cause some pain in my stomach/chest.
    Could this all be due to gastritis? I’m currently working on healing that with collagen, glutamine, slippery elm, and DGL. Is it possible that once my gut lining, the warming sensation will go away and I can properly supplement with Betaine?
    I’m feeling so overwhelmed and discouraged. I feel like I’m on the right track, but have this major hurdle blocking me. I’m beyond desperate for answers here, and none of my doctors seem willing to help.

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, you're right that gastritis can make it hard to start with the HCL, but without proper stomach acid, it sort of sets things up for gastritis so it can be troubling. Can you make a video about high blood pressure and low minerals? I have been dealing with higher blood pressure so I have been avoiding added salt and drinking more water. But I just got some labs done and my sodium and chloride levels dipped a bit. I know there are other factors involved but more information would be helpful!

    I hear you mention the "sizzle" in your videos. Is this something that can be felt with no gallbladder?

      Hi @Ann Hatch , you don't really "feel" the sizzle. It's just a process of the two sides of digestion meeting and making it easier to break the food apart correctly. With no gallbladder, you don't really have the ability to create the exact same sizzle, but you can manufacture sort of sizzle by using ox bile the correct way. We talk about how to do that here: th-cam.com/video/6EhZiBE2SBc/w-d-xo.html
      Let us know how it goes.
