I made these biscuits last week. They were delicious. Thank you for showing us how you freeze them and then bake them after you've frozen them. No thaw time needed. FYI. I made a smaller batch, 2 cups of self rising flour and 1 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream. Which was still a little too much, I got 12 biscuits, however they are just as delicious reheated. They had layers and light and fluffy just delicious.
This may just be the best way I have ever seen biscuits made for 'freezer biscuits'! My disabled husband has an egg sandwich breakfast every morning. Mon. Wed & Friday he gets a homemade breakfast egg sandwich, often made with a boughten English Muffin...then on Tuesday, Thurs. and Sunday he gets Jimmy Dean Breakfast Sandwich (or our Kroger Brand) and has decided he likes the biscuit one better than the one on English Muffin. Now he wants my homemade one with biscuits instead of the quick English Muffin but I told him I don't know how to make homemade biscuits... but I think I could make a batch like you just made, freeze them and bake them up on Sunday and have them reading for the week of breakfasts. Thank you so much for the easy to follow instructions.
I've been making biscuits with whipping cream recipe has been the best so far. But now you taught me how to freeze them Thank you so much I will make your freezing technique Tomorrow.
Thanks for all the tips especially using a different temperature when frozen! Why hadn't I thought of that? Consider using the UNBLEACHED WHITE LILY flour-it tastes so much better and has a few less chemicals.
I am a newbie to biscuit making. I made my fist batch about 2 months ago from KEN CLICKS recipe for "Biscuits for 2" recipe and I was shocked how good they are. I AM NOW GOING TO TRY THIS! Thank you and blessings on your channel. I am now SUBBED! Great stuff and am so excited to try this!😃😃😃
I made a batch of 18 and froze them. I baked them in the air fryer and they turned out great. It’s nice to be able to have one or two freshly baked biscuits in just a few minutes. Thanks!
This is a great idea. I think I will try them for church coffee hour this Sunday. Thank you. BTW, some commenters don’t like the music , I usually don’t like music either, but I thought this was very nice.
I made these today and they were too salty for me so I’ll make my own self rising flour with less salt and try again. Update. I made my own self-rising flour with salt free baking powder and added a bit of salt. I also put grated butter between the folds. Perfect!
Hello 👋🏻 new subscriber here and now I’m binge watching more videos! Love your content. I have extra heavy cream and I will be making some of these for easy breakfasts, especially for the cooler months ahead! Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you for sharing your freezer biscuit recipe!!! I LOVE biscuits!!! Question, where did you find the large bowl you mixed your ingredients for biscuits in???????
I just noticed that if they come out of the freezer, you cook them at 375 but if they’re fresh, at 450. You would think it would be the opposite, wouldn’t you?. I’ll have to go re-read that recipe again…also, would you cook them from the frozen state and for the same length of time as the fresh ones?
The frozen ones need a lower cook temperature so it can cook through and not be raw in the center. The fresh ones would cook faster but you can’t beat the convenience of having frozen ones. Thanks for watching!!
No. I have another recipe for my old fashioned biscuits that uses buttermilk. It’s on the salmon and biscuits video. You will need butter or lard to go with the buttermilk.
I would definitely watch them and not just go by the time mentioned. Different ovens cook differently. As far as the temperature, that’s what I do but feel free to experiment and see if another temperature works. I find that the frozen needs a lower temperature than the fresh ones.
Thats more than 2 cups of four in this video can you give me the mesurments in this video because i use 2 cups of flour in mine and 1 to 1 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream and it only makes for 6 biscuits.i was just looking for larger batch recipe
You can just multiply the recipe. I didn’t measure the flour. You can’t mess this recipe up…you could even use an entire bag of flour…just make sure you have enough heavy cream on hand. I just look for the consistency I want. Thanks for watching!
The 2 cups is a single recipe….if you want to make more then just multiply the recipe. I didn’t measure. You can make as big of a batch you want as long as you have enough of those 2 ingredients.
Takes too long to get into recipe. Music annoying. Mixing takes too long - please respect viewers time! Music still annoying. We don’t need to see you cut out every biscuit! Good grief! No need to make us watch you clean work surface or put every biscuit into bags

This is an awesome tutorial. I love homemade biscuits made with cream. Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks for all the tips especially using a different temperature when frozen! Why hadn't I thought of that? Consider using the UNBLEACHED WHITE LILY flour-it tastes so much better and has a few less chemicals.
I will look and see if I can find that flour. Thanks for watching!

@@lauraleeburnham6874 I have always wondered how they would turn out with fresh flour. I have always wanted to try.
This is a great idea. I think I will try them for church coffee hour this Sunday. Thank you. BTW, some commenters don’t like the music , I usually don’t like music either, but I thought this was very nice.

P S I enjoy the music
Thank you so much!
Wonderful video. Thank you so much for posting. ❤❤
Thank you for watching!!
Guess no one bothered listening. She said you can make a smaller ba/ch only using 2 cups of flour, if you don't want to make this much!
Thanks for watching!!
Made this recipe and love it!! Delicious and easy.
So glad you enjoyed them! Thanks for watching!!
Thank you for sharing your freezer biscuit recipe!!! I LOVE biscuits!!!
Question, where did you find the large bowl you mixed your ingredients for biscuits in???????
You are so welcome! That bowl is a vintage McCoy bowl set from my mother. I begged her for it years ago. Thanks for watching!
I wished I would have caught that sale.
I make biscuits and freeze them for later.
Delicious 😋😋
I think they were trying to get rid of it by the sale date…it was a great deal. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing. Happy that we do not have to eat chemicals.
Thanks for watching!!
I truly love this recipe, I tried making it with can milk and it's not good . I'm going to make a big batch to freeze this weekend.😊
So glad you like it. Thanks for watching!!
Gonna try these
I hope you love them as much as we do!
Just found you today. I will be making these biscuits
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for watching!
Hello! Would you mind sharing the recipe in the description? Thank you, they look great
Sure thing!

I agree No music annoying
Thanks for watching!
Super random question. Have you ever put this dough in a loaf pan and tried baking it like bread? I'm curious how it would turn out.
I have not tried that. Thanks for watching!
Get rid of the loud background music. It is very annoying and drowns out your words.
Ok thanks for watching!
you did not use shortening? just the heavy whipping cream
No shortening….only 2 ingredients. Thanks for watching!
If you use heavy cream, can i substitute full fat buttermilk?
No. I have another recipe for my old fashioned biscuits that uses buttermilk. It’s on the salmon and biscuits video. You will need butter or lard to go with the buttermilk.
Is it just flour and the heavy cream?
Yes that’s it….self rising flour.
Is the temp/time correct on the frozen ones?
I would definitely watch them and not just go by the time mentioned. Different ovens cook differently. As far as the temperature, that’s what I do but feel free to experiment and see if another temperature works. I find that the frozen needs a lower temperature than the fresh ones.

So u used 4 cups of flour for all of those
I didn’t measure. I am sure it was more than 4 cups of flour. I had a lot of heavy cream I needed to use up.
What is the sodium and sugar content?
I don’t know. I would just look at the labels on the ingredients and see. It’s probably different for different brands.
Dang! I can't afford to make these!!!!!😱😢💔
You can always make the old fashioned biscuits. They are a lot cheaper. I have a video on that one too.
Watching with sound off it sure looks like a double or triple batch no way that was 2 cups of flour looking at the dough ball on the counter ;-)
The 2 cups is a single recipe….if you want to make more then just multiply the recipe. I didn’t measure. You can make as big of a batch you want as long as you have enough of those 2 ingredients.
turn the music down please
I will try and do that next time.
Ha ha 41 made with 2 cups of flour... I DON'T THINK SO!
You are correct….2 cups makes a single recipe.
I think you have a channel here. I am inclined to agree with other posters. The music is a distraction and annoying imo.
Thanks for watching!
Music is too loud and very annoying.
Yes that was one of my first videos. I have lowered the music in some of my new ones. We learn as we go.
Thats a big nope. wasted 2 cups of bakers flour and a pint of whipping cream. Has anyone actually thawed and baked these?
You bake them from frozen..do not thaw. I bake them all the time.
The recipe calls for 1 1/2 cups whipping cream, not a pint which is two cups. I make them all the time. They are the best!
Takes too long to get into recipe. Music annoying. Mixing takes too long - please respect viewers time! Music still annoying. We don’t need to see you cut out every biscuit! Good grief! No need to make us watch you clean work surface or put every biscuit into bags

GOOD GRIEF!!! How about a nice friendly suggestion next time you decide to comment on a video instead of being an ass about it..
