    I just bought this truck in July. Daily driver to the city. I love it. Ya it’s a bit rough and the gas mileage is like 11-12 in city but I love driving it. Thanks for the video, nice to see how it does off road before I take it out.

    Add a Carli 3" level with some Back country Carli shocks. Truck will be 1" taller and then you can add 37's. More sidewall deflection. softer progressive springs and Carli's specifically made shocks that will ride like a Raptor and look better. Get a 5 star tune to adjust speedo and give you a lil more grunt. Lastly add dual exhaust tips straight out the back. Good review guys. Subscribed

      I have absolutely 0 use for a Super Duty, but I just love driving them because it's the polar opposite of what I grew up with in Europe, ha! And thank you!

    Did you really say the Raptor is a better option for overlanding with a camper on the back?!? Lol
    Raptors have virtually no payload capacity. I think my wife's Subaru Ascent Touring with a hitch has more payload capacity than a Raptor.

      @@GCCarsCAF350 7.3 Tremors are the perfect overlanders. Stripped down XLTs can hit 4k+ payload. My 2020 Lariat is ~3,800.

    Prob running around with 80 psi in the tires.........

    • @GCCarsCA
      @GCCarsCA  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Tires are up to road-spec in terms of pressures like we said. No reason to air down as we weren't pushing it too far in this video.

    • @rockie307
      @rockie307 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I run 40 psi in mine with 37s on highway when empty rides much better and saves wear and tear on the truck. I air down to 25 psi on jeep trails. Max psi is for max loads and towing rides like shit with max psi obviously because its made to tow 18,000 or more with that psi.Just spent 2 months in the Rockies hitting trails everyone said it wouldn't do. If you air down the tires appropriately and have some driving skills it goes about anywhere you want. Use forscan to change psi minimum so light doesn't come on when you air down. With my decked topper all my gear the added weight along with a few other simple mods and adjusting tire psi it drives way better.

      and they're surprised the steering is so vague in slick conditions with a 7,500 pound vehicle with solid axles 😏

  • @brandonwiles1127
    @brandonwiles1127 หลายเดือนก่อน

    F-250 is a lot stiffer due to the solid front axles instead of independent front on the Silverado. The suspension is so stiff obviously for towing and the "tremor package" is actually just a lifted FX4 with different stickers. Thats the only difference and I know this because my dad has the exact same truck with the HO diesel. And yes the seatbelt warning is one of the most annoying warning system in the truck. We just took my tremor on an 8,000 mile road trip on gravel highways through Canada up to Alaska and everything and it did amazing.

    • @GCCarsCA
      @GCCarsCA  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That road trip sounds awesome! Glad the Tremor did perform well over those 8,000 miles!

    • @SliderFury1

      Everyone always says this but I test drove three different GM HDs: A Silverado 2500 LT diesel, a 3500 gasser with the snow plow package, and a Sierra 3500 diesel SLT. I also test drove four Super Duty trucks; and F250 XLT diesel, an F250 gasser Lariat Ultimate Tremor, an F350 Lariat diesel, and an F350 Platinum gasser (my truck).
      The Chevy gasser with the snow plow rode the worst by far, but the rest were just so-so. The F250 Tremor and my truck rode the best, followed by the F250 XLT diesel. The GMC SLT rode better than the F350 Lariat diesel but the Fords all rode better than the Chevys.
      I went in fully expecting to have to give up ride quAlity with the SFA if I wanted a Ford and it was the other way around. The Fords were bouncy but felt more, well, solid, and composed. The Chevys tracked better but each bump/pothole, while more isolated in impact area, felt like a gut punch.

      @@SliderFury1 Fair enough. All I have to say is that when you put about 2,000 pounds in the back of a F-250 Tremor Diesel, it ride so smooth. We took our truck on the Dempster Highway in Canada and that thing ATE some pot holes.

    • @rockie307
      @rockie307 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Read the manual turn the seatbelt alarm off. Superduty has a harsher ride empty because it's made to carry weight. With weight it rides much smoother. People bitch about the ride of a heavy duty truck but ride around with no weight and tires aired up to max psi. Lower pressure to match weight your carrying if really concerned.
