Sweet thanks dude! I just wanna know before doing it myself; Know if it will work in a 95? I've got a 95 chevy k1500 and this woulf be a very nice touch for long road trips and adding subtle modifications to the interior, ill just have to find a red one if it does work for 95
I took the headliner out of my truck as it needs replacing and there are no mounting points for the overhead console. It's a 91 GMC so will I have to cut out the sheet metal for the rear tabs or is there an aftermarket bracket for this?
Probably a best bet though, I'm not having luck with cheap electrical liquid rubber, and butt connectors.. they pull apart too easy to be moved too much so if you have a solderer i personally reccomend it May just be me living in a trailer park and getting rough on shit though lol
I kinda laughed, for some reason I have that exact retainer clip in my truck and my truck has no use for it as far as i know, I looked in my center console and I'm like "woah! That was never there before wonder what its for"
Same thing i wanted to do on my 92 but i got a good idea on how you cut it out.

Should work on all 88-98s, tho I’m not 100% on single cabs.

Do you have the measurements?
So you just wired it up to the dome light & the buttons worked just by wiring it to the dome light?
Yeah that's where the power comes from. And you'll need the ground wire as well.
Do you need a soldering tool to do the wiring
No you do not.

Hey man how much for the lbz
Sorry bro sold that a couple years ago
probably could have saved some time by just using self tapping screws one on the front one on the back🤷♂
